I returned my truck on Saturday and was charged, but some how was charged again for three days Monday because no one actually checked in my truck. Still have not received my refund. To make it better for the next customer maybe you could actually check their truck in. Not sure how a truck sits there 2 days and no one notices the first guy never checked it in. I think Chris Dunn is a great on site manager, however the regional manager Eli Mack did not respond to my calls and thus I am filing a complaint. I was also disappointed in that I was rented a Uhaul with only 1/8th of a tank. In the past, I have always been given one with a full tank. It was a big fat hassle.Jean M.

Returning the truck took and hour and a half, 2 phone calls and a lot of hassle. I realize the new process is for people to have a self service. The new system has some hiccups that need to be figured out. The app couldn't find my location signal on my phone. I have an Android. The location indicator was on, on my phone. I was able to log in, but wasn't able to get The Return My Truck page to see that my location was on. I called a phone number that was on contract, this was my second call and a very nice gentleman assisted me and we figured out another option. I was so thankful, because I didnt want to get charged extra and I was very frustrated. He was wonderful. So, my expierence was great with both locations. You guys have got to fix your App. If a customer has to decline the damage assessment and photograph the undocumented damage, your App will not allow any pictures to be uploaded. I've rented from UHaul 3 times in the last 2 weeks and it's always the same, can't upload pics in your App. My last truck rental, your App would not even upload my photos of the odometer reading or the gas gauge. It took me two hours at the rental location to reach a customer service representative via phone and complete the return. I doubt seriously if I will continue renting from UHaul if your App is not fixed so check out and check in can flow seamlessly and quickly using the App, which is what UHaul purports on your website.Clifford W.

Show me how to hook up. Warn me u will charge if I return it after hours if my phone dies leaving me unable to check it in with my phone. The staff is excellent, I got checked out quickly, got the move done, and back to the shop around 8 pm saturday night. The drop off process was confusing and difficult though. There was very little room to drop off the trailer, and when I went to unhitch ( I've hauled more than 250k miles; horses and a range of all sizes of trucks) I literally could not get the trailer off the uhaul ball mount hitch. Luckily I unpinned it, and just pulled forward to release the truck and hitch. That was a real fluke, because I've rented a lot of those same trailers and never had that problem. Anyway Ii was a little concerned about my safety and left. It would be a good idea to add more lighting to your lot at night, both for your business safety, and for customers dropping off late at night. Another gentleman was dropping off around the same time, and seemed to have some similar challenges but he too was able eventually to drop the trailer. Anyway, thank you so much, and be sure and note the staff there is super helpful, organized, and on top of everything for me. Thanks much!MARILYN G.

It's not worth fighting over 10 bucks, but my contract says 3/4 of a tank not 3/4~7/8. Customers should be encouraged to verify the information instead of having a service rep stand between the customer and the door, where it then becomes uncomfortable to lean across to verify.SARAH C.

The after-hours truck return was a nightmare. It took forever to figure it out. I only drove the van for 29 miles, and I put in $10 in fuel. You still charged me $18 for more fuel. I have a seriously hard time believing it needed more fuel and I think that's your way of gouging your customers to make an extra buck. Overall, very dissatisfied customer.Debra F.

we called before we rented your equipment and were told the truck could be taken to the town that we were moving from. we were moving from a home to storage rental in same town. We then rented and were told that we had to go pick up in a town 15 miles away and then had to return to same town this caused us to pay mileage to and from We still do not understand why this happened when Veneta Oregon has a Uhaul rental center. Having to drive caused us to loss of important moving time. We were having to move our daughter out of a domestic violence situation and were very limited on time. I had originally rented the truck for 6 hours, from 9:00-3:00. I thought I was paying the entire day fee. When I asked if I could bring in the truck after 3:00 but before 5:00 I was told it would cost me an extra $35. That's as much as I paid for 6 hours. Manager was super rude to me about not being able to leave my car at the location, which is understandable but I was told two seperate time it wouldn't be a problem to leave my personal vehicle at location for years 2 hours I would be using equipment.. reassured two times it would be fine and manager copped an attitude with me about it and basically canceled my reservation because I told him what I was told when booking reservation. He wasn't having it and wouldn't even let me speak. Very disappointed in the customer service at this location. I would never recommend this spot to anyone I care about. Maybe an enemy but never a friend. Im never going back there to be treated like crap again, screw that place and that particular manager.charles F.
