My only complaint is that I was charged a $10.92 fuel charge, when I fueled the vehicle back up to the appropriate level. I followed the receipt, and what the reservation worker, which appears is also the owner, told me to fill it up to on Sunday when I picked it up.buck P.

This location and employees at the West 7th location were 5-star. Everyone was polite, efficient, helpful and wore masks. They did a terrific job installing my new tow hitch. However, the location on Franklin Blvd. made me feel unsafe -- one male employee was not wearing a mask at all and another wore the mask below his nose. It is state law in Oregon now that everyone wear a mask indoors. The women employees all wore masks. I have to wonder if the men intimidated them so the women didn't feel they could ask the men wear masks? Because I didn't hear anyone asking the mask-less employee to put on a mask. I will not do business again with the store on Franklin Blvd. U-Haul lost my loyalty with that alone.marti G.

Estimated gallons of fuel was WAY off. It said I needed 14.4 gallons of fuel to return it to 3/8's of a tank. It took almost 27 gallons to return to that mark and I still had an 1/8th of a tank when I fueled. So either the gauge was off or the estimate was off. Kinda feels like they wanted me to underfill and charge $6.25 a gallon for the rest. Not cool!larry G.

Have the jack on the trailer working. Found me another (lucky) at another location miles away. Think things should be checked before pick up. Saying we don't have one like it but an enclosed unit. I was moving tall items and open unit with ramp was necessary. I reserved the one I wanted a week and a half ahead of time. Should just went to second location in first place, they had three!ALVIE ALLEN T.
I worked at U-Haul in Eugene Oregon 700-076 location for 2 years 20 years ago and it's changed ALOT. We had too many untrained employees walking around with their fingers up there nose looking helpless. There were so many messed up hitches and wiring installations I saw that were soooo unsafe, drugs being used by managers and fellow employees!? It was awful back in 2003... I trained the MCP of southern Oregon Kyle (who was about 19 years old) after bill woods got demoted and it was the 5th or 6th GM that I trained personally. It's amazing to me the amount or revinue this wonderful company makes but there's so many errors and peoples lives at risk due to improper training and lack of pay. If I was Joe or one of the top dogs I'd want nothing but safety and the best for my company and my customers... If your willing to make someones job or career worth them putting all they have into it they need proper training, assurance, and pay... With that said I rented a truck today from the w 7th location in Eugene Oregon which I worked at many many times back when I was an employee and it was embarrassing!! The wait, the unorganization, and the customer service was far from good... Any time someone moves it's one of the most stressful events in their life. As a U-Haul customer service rep your job is to take the weight off their shoulders and provide the best service you can and some reassurance everything is going to be ok. I would like whoever reads this to PLEASE PLEASE keep forwarding and sending to the higherarcy!? I loved this company so much and it's sad that it's the way it is when it doesn't have to be. Easy drop-off. One way rental, filled the tank for 2 hour drive, so had a LOT of fuel left over, about $50+. I mentioned it to the Uhaul rep when I returned and got a shrug and he proceeded to charge me the regular rate for mileage. So basically I gave Uhaul 50 bucks extra that I don't really have. Would have been nice if someone had warned me.Shaneen S.
I honestly can't think of anything on need of improvement. The service provided by Eli Mack at pickup was knowledgeable, quick, and outstanding. Drop off when we were done was even quicker and easier! Keep it up! I'll recommend you often!Jeff H.

The muffler vibrated against the new U- Haul hitch, creating a metallic, rattly noise that I remedied with some dense neoprene between the muffler and the hitch, secured with stainless steel strapping. I think U-Haul should not have considered the job complete with this problem that would have been much easier to fix on a lift rather than my driveway.Kurt J.
