The uhaul I got was extremely beat up. I took it anyways, because I flew from Philadelphia to pick up my belongings from NY so I could move. Within 2 hours, I noticed the drivers side headlamp was not working. I called this location, and they said to take it to another uhaul to fix it because they couldn't. I drove to 3 other uhauls in Rochester, NY, all which said they could not fix it because their techs went home or they couldn't work on the vehicle because it wasn't from their location. I was told by an employee at the last location I went to, to call roadside service because they had to come and fix the problem. I was supposed to leave that day to get into my apartment in Philadelphia. This had already eaten up 2 hours of my driving time, so I decided it was best to stay in Rochester. A mechanic from roadside service eventually showed up with a tow truck. He was given the wrong info from the roadside assistance/ dispatch, and was planning on towing the truck. He got upset about uhaul giving him the wrong repair information, and stated yelling at me. I was already upset, so I started crying because I'd already been having a lot of trouble with uhaul. He went to go get the right part from a store and fixed the issue. I couldn't get on the road when I was supposed to. Overall, it was a bad experience.Kayla C.

i got charged 49 dollars for 2 hours and she said i went 12 miles and i went from lake avenue to Hudson avenue and back. They overcharged me. I rented from e ridge road and that was further away and only got charged for the 19.95 truck rental. lake ave uhaul are ripping people off.Cindy S.

I have rented here for 20 years but this visit they charged me for 3 gallons of gas. I put in 4.7 gallons. by your estimate of 26 miles i drove, i got 3.7 mpg! plus the guy said i returned the truck at 5pm when in fact it was 2 hours earlier.! not happy! i drove less than 35 mph and did not even fully load the truck. i will try a different location for the next moves this june and august.luis mario S.

I rented reserved a truck for 10am for 4 hours, the move was not a long distance. We returned the truck in 3 hours. There was only one employee at this location. I returned the key and ask if he would inspect the truck and the employee seemed agitated and annoyed. It was not a good experience at this location.elizardo P.

When I preceded to cash out I asked the guy about the mileage, not being used he had a very unfriendly face and attitude.He went to the truck to get mileage and said a total and walked away the truck was full to the 3/8 line which I I received it on so now I'm confused that I'm seeing that I was changed $15 for gas.Mary C.
