I had placed a mobile reservation for 8:30 but the people who made my reservation on the phone didn't placed it as such, so after waiting 1 hour trying to figure out how to get to the key that was in the lock due to having no code I had to cancel that reservation to make one at another location, once I made that reservation I was told I was going to get the code to get a key at that location I get there and the key of the truck I had reserved was left inside the truck and truck was locked.... after that and spending 3 hours of my time trying to get a uhaul due to you guys handling your trucks a d schedules wrong I finally was able to get a uhaul at a location that wa really far from my house.... also due to the fact that I complain I was given just a $50 credit and it was really not worth it considering all the gas and uber I had to spend after that.JULIO S.

When I returned the truck the uhoul guy that was there waiting for the truck to check had the worst actitud,he wasn't happy working that day,I think he was looking for cash money from me,he said let's talk because if not you gonna have to pay two days instead of one, I supposed to return my truck at 3 and i returned at 6:30pm Because of that i was charged 2 daysssss thanksFrank M.

Good day On 5/21/2022 I contacted U-haul customer service to reserve a motorcycle trailer. My experience with customer service was top notch. I arrived to the pick up location to retrieve my rental. U-Haul signature ( Ocea Inman ) was my representative. I posed a question to him and he posed it to the other representatives. I then was instantly treated like a child. I do not appreciate this type of treatment from representatives. I asked if a purchase was made can it be returned. They stated no. I in return asked if I purchased this tape in your store with a receipt, but I didn't open the package can I return it. They stated yes but you're purchasing an item thats being used now and you can't return it. I didn't ask for the insight from your associates nor for them to treat me inappropriately. They misread my intent and treated me like a child. I am not a child, I know how to make a purchase. Just because I'm purchasing an item associate with this question doesnt give an associate the right to treat me the customer like a thief. I am not a thief. I have an OUTSTANDING job. Your associates complete misread me, my question and the situation. If they had just answered my question to the best of their knowledge without misinterpreting me as person. Please review your security footage for a more accurate account of what transpired. I didn't notice at first but after the purchase was made, packaged item opened and installed by your associate and not me, trailer hooked up by your associate and not me and I had already left the establishment, inside my package the item document had been DELIBERATELY ripped in half and unreadable. My package that I had just purchased from your establishment had just been damaged by one of your associates. I was FRUSTRATED to have been so VIOLATED by U-Haul that I've been renting from for over 20 years. I also was too far away to return now. I returned the next day to return my rental. U-Haul signature ( Ocea Inman ) was my representative. I returned the rental then entered the establishment per U-Haul signature ( Ocea Inman ) request to retrieve my paper receipt. After receiving my paper receipt from U-Haul signature ( Ocea Inman ) he left the establishment immediately. I then explained to the other representatives what had transpired the previous day, what I was doing now and my family nor I could read the information on the package due to the damage from you associate. I then exchanged the damaged document that was unreadable from my purchase the prior day with another of the same item in store. While I was inside your establishment I was told by your associates that the police were going to be called on me. I stated I am here waiting for the police to advise you damaged my purchase. I never purchased damaged items before. You are at fault. U-Haul signature ( Ocea Inman ) then entered the establishment and stated in a disturbing voice you are causing a scene, leave or I am calling the police. I left. I was the only customer in the establishment the entire time I am there. I have never written a complaint on anyone till today. I have never been so embarrassed 2 days in a row at the same establishment. I feel so disrespected, embarrassed, annoyed, mistreated, confused and stressed with the treatment I received from your associates at U-Haul in the Davie FL area. I was too embarrassed to return to the U-Haul location in Davie FL to get any other information. I need names of other associates in order to make any additional complaints. I could only get the name of the associate on my receipt U-Haul signature ( Ocea Inman ). I would like for U-Haul to show me U-Haul's policy and procedures when it comes to a customer making a purchase and the associate rips his document needed for explanation. It is unreadable inside the purchased item. This is all because I asked a question. I have the right to question anything and not be treated like a thief. I am a US CITIZEN, and would like to be treated fairly with any vendor at any establishment where I purchased goods or service. I have not damaged any of your property or equipment. I have had an excellent relationship in the past with U-Haul and its associates. This being my only negative experience to date 2 days in a row. I have new born twins they're not even 2 weeks yet and have not had sleep in 2 weeks. I am stressed from this experience. Only issue was that it was hard to get to the location. But the representatives were excellent & information. The vehicle was in GREAT condition. Loved the backup cameras on the vans. Saves time & headache!MARLA D.

I was charge 6.05 for fuel when it had just under a half a take when I rented it and was returned the same way. I drove 3 miles in the vehicle. No signs for customer parking. I was later told I should have parked behind the building. I'm disabled and it's difficult for me to walk to the front door from there.Jacqueline M.

My refund is pending for $134.65 My charges are actually $85.32 There was a major issue with the charges. My bank statement shows the extra charges which are unacceptable. Also, your return site uhaul.com/share does NOT work for the return of trucks. Therefore, your system need to be fixed with the IT dept. Uhaul should not be charging $20 unless you offer customer a back up plan.patricia M.

Reserved a 20' truck a month in advance for a 1200+ mile move. The truck was not available on the p/u date of the reservation. I never received any calls, texts or emails from U-Haul informing me about that. However, I was bombarded for days with texts from U-Haul asking if I was interested in hauling other customers' trailers with my reserved truck. I did get a truck the next day; but, the help I hired the day before was not available on a Sunday. The truck smelled of cigarettes and B.O. The Service Engine light came on at the beginning(200 miles) of the 1200+ mile move. I also had a blow-out on one of the rear tires on I-255 in IL near my destination. Moves are ALWAYS stressful; perhaps, U-Haul could help ease the stress with better communications with any reservation issues. It would also be nice if they would clean and maintain their equipment better. I almost forgot, the passenger-side mirror was not secure and was basically useless the entire trip making it difficult to change lanes and observe traffic.Richard Z.

The tire light was on when I went to let them know they said do not worry about it before I left the lot I took a picture of the gas which I always do that's how I remember to put the gas back. I returned it back where I got it and let the worker know by showing him the picture I took he said thats fine I then get charged for way gas than what was in the truck like unbelievable first uh to so this to me and I rented a truck for 3 days In a rowMIKE F.

Dropped off the uhaul right before they closed and when I received the receipt via email I was charged for a fuel service fee as well as for 3 gallons of gas when I know I dropped the truck off with the fuel replaced to it's original as when picked up. The store was closed and was unable to dispute the discrepancy. This is highly unsatisfactory and unprofessional.Sodianie L.
