I reserved equipment online and checked in ahead of time to ensure a quick pick up. They did not have my information and were not clear on what I had reserved, being unsure if that equipment was even available. We walked outside to “check if they had that” twice before finally confirming a rental that I had already confirmed online. My mom got yelled at by a staff member for trying to throw her paper cup into the trash can because she apparently got too close to being behind the counter. It took more than an hour to finally get out of the place with the equipment. I wound up paying for insurance I really didn’t need and had declined in my online check in just because I didn’t want to wait forever for the attendant to figure out how to cancel it. We then returned the equipment that night, and they had no record of it being returned. I received an email stating I had not returned my equipment and would be charged. When I called to follow up, I received no call back to confirm what I had asked. I finally received a confirmation after calling the site manager directly on his cell phone. This was a terrible U Haul experience; I have never been to a location so unorganized and unprofessional.

Communication between other locations I reserved at Greenville Ave They called and said they didn’t have what I needed and I needed to pick up at ferguson location The day I picked up they couldn’t find my reservation Luckily it all worked out , but I had uploaded my drivers license and info and it wasn’t there :(

The manager at locations at us80 hwy put me down for a uhaul to take it out of town when I told her that I was going 16 miles down the street in back. In I had to go to A nother location. In the rate was to high because she put ne down for out of town instead of in town. That was a 1hr waiting for it to get fix. The out of town was $115 in the in town was $75. I was very disappointed that she did that.

I originally reserved a uhaul at the Forney Rd location, but was not advised that this was a location where you use the app to pick up equipment. When I arrived no one was there and I was unsure of what to do. I called Uhaul and was given instructions only for there to be a glitch in the system because it couldn't pick up my gps location for an access code for the keys. I had to then call back and was transferred to the Uhaul location on Ferguson where I waited and additional 45 mins on line for help. All of this put me behind an hour and a half of my scheduled move. I recommend that the call center give CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS when customers book or reserve a Uhaul.

My reservation (9’ van) was parked behind the building between other vans. When notifying the gentleman upfront he told me To change the reservation or figure something out because he was busy. Raising his voice to to emphasize the “busy”. I walk outside to figure it out via app and the service department called. The lady instructed me to walk around the property to find another vehicle with an easier exit... after finding one, i gave her the vehicle number, returned inside to accept the key to then walk out to a completely different Van that was coincidentally parked behind the previous van behind the building. Returned inside to be told again I’d have to wait, I called the same service department and was told there was nothing they could do after already attempting/changing the vehicle number with them, i was out on hold and the gentleman behind the counter grabs my attention to tell me he could change the vehicle.... after a 45 minute reservation pick up with the assumption of doing so would result in a timely and efficient process. Quite the opposite. When returning the van, i mentioned my experience to a woman assisting me, in which she replied by saying she was not there so there’s nothing she can do. Overall, an extremely poor experience with UHual this afternoon.

Dakota was helping another customer when I arrived with my partner to return equipment. He was friendly and helpful, to the people on front of us. When it was my turn he was brief and to the point and asked if we had a drop off and headed straight outside. He looked on his phone and said he didn’t have my info and I could be charged more for the wrong dropoff. He was all business and brought us back inside. He handed me a pamphlet and stated I would have to call corporate for myself. There were multiple 1-800s on the pamphlet and I was not clear on his instructions. I expressed this was a difficult situation, I needed to leave for work and could he please contact someone for me. He declined and said, “ hey, I just hand out the pamphlets.” He was not helpful and put it all on me, the customer. I definitely did more work at check out than the associate. He was unhelpful and did not seem interested in helping us even though he was perfectly friendly to others in the office. I should have used the app.

I was charged twice. I explained to the lady I always get 24 hrs use of trailer. The receipt use email instead of a hard copy. The lady was in rush to have me back up my car. I tried to explain to her that there was already a car backing up. However, she just didn’t understand that two cars can’t backup to same spot. She didn’t care. Then after I called to explain what’s going on I was charged again. I had to call again to figure out why I’m being charged 3 times. Worst place to go to

I used the UHAUL quick rental online but when I got there it took me about 30 minutes to get the trailer. They hooked it up and I asked why it was so big since I ordered a 5x8 and did not get a good answer. I drove away and a mile later I get a call saying i got the wrong trailer. Went back. On return, the did not enter the return and got another call the next day saying they were going to charge my credit card with another day. Called and it was resolved. Not a good experience but hopefully was just a bad day for UHAUL.

The personnel were all friendly, very helpful, very practical and helpful. Especially the young gentleman who helped me during pick up and drop off is an asset for the location. During my visits the other two young ladies were also very friendly and showing intention to offer a pleasant experience.

At this location, we we're given the wrong information, and we did not know this until we dropped the Uhaul off in a different city. At this location, an associate told us that our deposit refund could be in the form of cash, though we paid with a check. They also charged us for a dolly that was not on the truck. When we dropped the truck off in a different city, I told them that the Uhaul associate here said that the original location is to refund the $10 for the missing dolly. The associate at the original location said that the drop off location is supposed to refund the money for the missing dolly. One of the associates at the original location said that the associate who told us we can get a cash refund, though we paid with a check, said that we were misinformed. The next associate who fills in when the manager is out said that in the future, drop the truck off at a facility where there are many trucks, that way we can get a cash refund. He said that the mom and pop locations don't like to refund in cash, but the locations with many trucks will. I asked him how in the world is the customer to know that? It was a lot of back and forth with no resolve. The overall experience was a pain in the butt, and unpleasureable with noone helping to resolve this issue and kept passing us to the next person. I will most likely not use Uhaul again. The truck's windshield was cloudy and needed to be Windexed and the cup holders were filthy.

Sharon and Zack were amazing! After having driven to the Dallas Automotive Detail location to pick up our trailer and finding no one there, we were frustrated. We called and changed the order to the Ferguson Red location and arrived to smiling faces and EXCELLENT customer service. The Ferguson Red location was awesome.

People were still there when we returned it but would not accept the return and made us do it online and I got charged for an additional dolly that I didn't order and didn't receive.

There were 2 people working a holiday and 10 people standing in line. It took 32 minutes to drop off a trailer. It added stress to an already stressful life event. I would suggest being prepared for the holiday months with sufficient amount of staff. Otherwise, when I was finally helped the gentlemen was professionally and worked quickly to help me,.

There were a lot of hidden charges that was not explained during the reservation. This is a big customer service issue especially when you ask about any other charges. The young lady that checked the vehicle back in was very polite and explained what was valid and what could be done to avoid any hidden charges. The other representative was trying to add every charge he could without even informing me about them...Scam artist at best

...on "well maintained" - I called them about an error message shortly after we picked up the van - tire sensor problem, and the low-air icon was on in the speedometer area. They said don't worry, they'd just changed a tire & someone forgot to reset it. It was annoying the whole trip, and it blocked my odometer. Staff was great, though. I'm not tech-savvy and didn't do the mobile app thing when I returned it at 8pm after they were closed, so the only way I have to prove my time is that a guy was doing his check-in right in front of me and could vouch for me. Don't really like that. I rent ALL my trucks from UHaul and have spent a fortune on supplies on my last SIX moves.

Worked perfectly! The counter reps were kind, friendly and fun, the service guy was friendly and helpful he pulled the truck out because it was parked too close to another truck( and the truck smelled great), finally the Rep that greeted us when we returned the truck was friendly and efficient. Thank you for a wonderful group of employees!

My problem was i rented from a closer location in Dallas but they texted a day before with the address my size U-Haul would be picked up. It was not convenient; When i got there the line was extremely long...understaffed for a saturday so i waited in line for an hour!!!
