The entire process of renting and returning our vehicle was quick and easy . The staff is extremely friendly and very efficient! I forgot something in my rental and they happily looked and found my item ! Thanks for a great experience.

The Baton Rouge location was very professional. I rented this uhaul a day before Hurricane Ida. I parked the uhaul at my mother in laws home because I had to work during the storm( I'm a nurse). My mother in laws street was blocked from downed trees and power lines. I was not able to return the truck until a couple days ago and I called and attempted to keep lines of communication with uhaul. I called and was sent to a office in New Orleans and the woman that I spoke with who I believe is Denise's secretary or maybe Denise herself was very rude and disrespectful. Maybe she thought I was trying to get over but who wants a huge uhaul for weeks and no place to live. She was rude and would not hear anything that I had to say. I was simply stating that I could jot return the truck because of the debris on the street. She's arguing with me about the fact that I could have dropped the truck off at any location. She would not listen. If that's who people have to talk to during a time of crisis then I feel sorry for your company. I love often because of work and I used to use uhaul often. I will never use uhaul again.

I was charged for equipment I never received. I also called the 800 number and was told a note was out on my account telling them not to charge me and I was still charged. Waited on hold for 60 minutes just to be charged for something I never received!

The 24/7 Mobile Pick Up did not work until I returned to drop off the truck. The staff was helpful, but the location is horribly understaffed. The truck was not properly maintained and there were mechanical issues during my limited rental. If I rented this truck for a longer move, I would have most likely been in serious trouble.

the cab smelled sweaty and like it had not been cleaned. The steering wheel was sticky as well as the driver seat. the truck part has baby roaches crawling all over especially at the top back part. Please make sure things are cleaned and disinfected

The website is mediocre, but better than trying to get someone on the phone. I'm glad the calls are recorded so some of your employees can receive the “Customer Service” training they so desperately need. Overall terrible experience, except for the young man that assisted with the return. He a was a very pleasant and helpful, definitely the highlight of the rental.

At first they were about to give me a truck with the catalayta convertor or something about to break. Bad bad business. The bathroom or sewage had the whole store smelling. Then there was this extremely nonchalant young girl that had an attitude you wouldn't expect to appear from no one in public. It was raining severely, she doesn't listen when you speak. She was rolling her eyes, but why I really don't know. I am one to express kindness, care and love. But from her, it would scare you to run as fast as possible and far away.

I was informed that the truck would be returned by the previous family at 8:30 am but come to learn they had extended the time to 11:30 am. I only learned this through the 800GOUHAUL rep. I wasted a trip because I called to verify the return time. The truck was in horrible shape and needs maintenance. I received a truck that was near empty has wise and 5 minutes after my departure from the lot, I'm stopping for gas already. The A/C in the cab goes in and out as well. Horrible experience

Deduct the Military Discount at time of return. I ordered on online, my Son-in-Law picked it up. We both returned it to the Baton Rouge Location. No one was there who knew how to deduct the Military Discount from the trip.

More workers at counter would be a nice. Provide all counter personal with the same equipment. So that everyone who comes don't have to stand around for hours. The wait would be better use of others time. Then it would move the wait line and we'd be able to get in and out

The call center is terrible. 25 minutes to get an answer. Then I was told I needed to call another number. I told them no they should transfer me as I was not going to spend another 20 minutes waiting on hold. They refused. The paperwork clearly stated 1800 go uhaul. That is what I called. I believe they are rated on how many calls an hour not on how many problems are solved. This is not the first time the call centers have denied me proper service.

Customer service was poor. The sales associate left for subway after we had gotten there she made the statement of every time she gets ready to go eat somebody comes in, when she returned she did not acknowledge our presence nor did she say she would be with us shortly, she actually sat down at her computer and began eating her food. At this point I had gotten a attitude with her because of her rudeness and inability to service me. However in the end she became more helpful. My overall experience was a good one.

My truck broke down

Your Customer Service was almost did not exits on Sunday 1Aug21. It took 7 hours to get a live person on the phone to help use with our broke down U-Haul truck, an additional 3 hours to have an Uber to come pick us up to an overnight hotel. U-Haul provided my family a very poor environment

My pick up location was changed without previous notice and I had to wait for half an hour at the initial location until someone sent me a message about the new location. I was able to start moving an hour and a half latter that what I was expecting, and the location was much more further away from my place, so the price I was charged based on the miles increased significantly as well. The customer service has not picked up my phone calls and I'll keep insisting until a refund is done. Incredibly disappointed and would never recommend your service based on that.

I was overcharged, the truck was on a quarter tank of gas when I received it. I reserved the 20" and a dolly was told none of my items were available. She gave be a 17" foot truck said it didn't matter if I reserved on line, they didn't have the items I requested. Just received an invoice for $145, I didn't travel far & they charged $90 gas???
