The overall process was professional at all times. The management team Mr. Derrick was very knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent job.

Millicent W.Make sure the tires are filled properly and the vehicle doesn't hesitate. They rented us a van that was previously stolen. They said that's the reason the tires were not pumped correctly. Their computer system was down which I understand happens. And the gas situation, ridiculous. No gas in said vehicle. We put in more than was needed. No reimbursement and no receipt
Stacy G.Everything went well with the rental, however I informed the staff I would be late when the rental was made. The staff informed me that I would have to pay the additional charges which was completely okay. This was not told to the other staff members so during my rental there were repeated calls to bring the trailer back within a certain time. There was no communication with the staff members.
Stephanie W.I was not notified that the location I had scheduled was no longer offering Uhaul rentals. I rode my bike to the location on the day of the rental and they told me they were no longer renting. I had to ride bike and call for the location for my rental. This was not very professional.

Ayres B.Well when I dropped the truck off yesterday one of your workers told me he would check the truck in and send me a email and all I received was this survey. So I don't know if I went over any miles or anything. I don't think that is very professional at all.
Peggy G.I was charged $40 for furniture pads and did not get them, sent an email to them about it but was still charged for them in my final receipt. The office was closed when we got to our destination so we didn't know they weren't in there until too late.

Brent C.I was there to pickup cargo van I didn't open side door on lot looked in back from back door Mat was clean so I let to get to my house to begin loading so I open the side door and I was attack by a high amount of roaches I lift the mat and they came from everywhere this was terrible had to drive van back to uhaul I am waiting for the management team to call me still as of Monday no call nothing 225-603-3568

Craig K.My son was helping me unload the truck and had a seizure. He is in the hospital and I was left to unload by myself. My drop-off time was 10:00 AM and I couldn't finish unloading alone in time. I called the drop-off location and said I needed more time to unload. He gave me until 2:00 PM. When I dropped off the truck I was charged $90.00 extra. The person I talked to never told me I would have to pay extra for 4 hours. I believe he should have informed me of the extra charges so I could make arrangements to be on time. Is it normal to pay $90.00 for 4 hours? That sounds outrageous when I should have been told I would have to pay for the extra time the General Manager gave me. I'll never use U-haul again or recommend the company. This is not good customer service!
David C.Employees were rude. Did not explain process of checking in or out. Gas was not at the level indicated on the paper. We were told we should have took pictures prior to leaving. Why wasn't that explained? I walked around the building to pick up the truck and found that the employee just parked it, left it running , and had the door open. No where to be found. Then accused us of not “following procedure when picking up a truck.†Horrible experience! Although the ladies at the check in desk were very pleasant and helpful!

Cheryl K.Open line of communication with nasty lady who runs things like a robot w/bad attitude, did not do her job correctly, told me for an entire day she made calls to dispatch, as I waited 3 days , w/no vehicle, and got no answer. At 3 in the afternoon I was reprimanded over the phone and told nobody answered the phone there and she will try tomorrow. I hung up and called myself and spoke to them at dispatch. I was told ,they never received a call from anyone and from there, I handled the problem myself and when I returned the truck another gentleman took very good care of me.

Timothy M.The vehicle I was given was AWFUL. The driver side door did not close properly, so there was wind blowing through the vehicle the entire drive. The check engine light was on, and the we had to wiggle the key to get it just right in the ignition to start the truck. I was told the truck had a quarter tank of gas (which in itself is EXTREMELY frustrating). This appeared to be accurate upon initial check of the gauge, but upon closer review it was actually only 1/8th of a tank of gas. I was extremely unhappy with the rental and will not be using UHaul in the future.

Again she didn't tell me it was transfer uhaul deal where you only bring it back to that location. Very sad and disappointed
