That online to check truck back in after hours need to be looked at because it wouldn’t let me do it

I reserved an appliance dolly. Upon arrival I was told that despite my reservation, there was no appliance dolly available. When I pointed out an appliance dolly that was clearly visible I was told that dolly was for another reservation. So I guess my reservation wasn’t as good as someone else’s, despite being there first? The Uhaul website told me my reservation was “guaranteed” although I’m not sure what that means since I wasn’t even offered an apology for the dolly not being available, never mind a discount or some other benefit from the ”guarantee.” Otherwise, the check in/check out process was smooth and the vehicle was clean and reliable.

Car was half the gas tank it was meant to be given at, the sides of the car were so badly damaged from previous drivers and the inside of the drivers cab was pretty sticky and dirty. Employees at the site were also rather unprofessional and rude when trying to sort out the fuel tank shortage issue. All around not really a great experience.

Computer system was not working correctly. Understaffed. Outside guy was not really knowledgeable about system. Extremely long wait fist thing In morning Did not have ability to rent me my reservation. Trailer had a lock on it they could not get off. Ended up renting a truck at much higher cost because that was all that was available and needed something to move out with. Truck was extremely stinky and loud and poorly maintained. But was able to get job done. Glad move was not any longer than it was

My comment is not regarding a specific location, but Uhaul as a company. It would be beneficial if the organization was up to date with technology regarding how driver's license pictures are captured. I am not sure about other states, but Louisiana has the LA Wallet which allows a driver to have their license in the digital app. That way, if you do not have the physical license for whatever reason, you can still have your actual driver's license on hand. Currently, Uhaul does not support the technology to be able to upload a picture of your driver's license from the app, but it would be very convenient if it did.

Customer service was poor. Big box truck blocked the way for a straight back up with a trailer. So I did a 90degree back up and the guy on the forklift Later caught an attitude about how I needed to wait before I tried to drop it off. So I obliged. I pulled all the way to the front. Waited 10-15 minutes for them to move the box truck. I backed up the trailer. He dropped it then walked clean off.

Only problem I have is the fuel was not on full like they said and there isn’t a slot for 7/8.5. I went 12 miles and had to pay 10 for fuel to put it on full.

Make sure the trailer works before assigning it to us. The trailer assigned to me had faulty lights when we hooked it up. We had to get a different trailer and redo all the paperwork.

It just appeared that I was an interruption of their work day. The employees were not friendly at all and one in particular seemed incompetent.

The associate assisting me continued face time conversation on personal phone during my check in. Would not honor quoted price from Uhaul website saying it was unreliable regarding pricing. Will not be using this location for future rentals.

I had the best experience ever at this location the employees explained everything they were so helpful and polite I didn’t get their names but the young lady had braids and the young man a high top fade haircut. If I ever need a uhaul again, I’ll be back to this location! Great job in customer service!
