While we got access to our van and it was well-maintained, the employee out front was rude to me and we were also charged for a dolly that we never received with our trip.

Let people know up front that they can't leave their car on the lot during the rental time. It was as vey inconvenient to find out after he handed me the key to the truck.

I didn't have it with me, although I am insured. Did not like ALL the technology required to rent a van. Very complicated from the get go. Take a pic of the license, follow the link to check cleanliness, take a picture of the fuel, accept everything-TOO MUCH. Heaven help someone who isn't "techy"! I just found the whole process too cumbersome.

Tracy P.I would not recommend u-haul to any one, charging double the cost if you don't use a credit card to pay, forcing the customer to do the walk around themselves and even when preferring to do rental at the office, your then still forced to do it online. Nothing done with paper any longer.
jonathan B.However, I seem to have been charged twice what my estimated bill would be. I did not get a final receipt at the location nor through my email. I am conserned as my rental should have been approx $200 and I was charged $358. I will be contacting my bank in the morning as I have yet to receive a call or email or text response to my inquiry about this issue. I expected my bill to be slightly more than the estimate however, not TWICE the amount. I did a rough calculation including over a hundred miles more than I placed on the truck and I still couldn't get near the double charge. Since it is almost exactly double than the estimate I think I was literally charged twice at once for the rental.

KELLY C.I had reserved a pickup truck. Previous customer left it on empty. Although I was going to be credited for the inconvenience customers should not have to put gas before you use it. Secondly. I got in the truck and it wouldn't start. So then I had to rent a box truck.

DIANE C.The first location I visited at Broadway & Franklin Blvd was by far the worst service I've had with uhaul. They never answered their phone. They messed up my rental time and said I had to bring it back in under 4 hours when I was told over the phone I would have it the whole day (what I requested). The woman at this location was incredibly rude. I was on a time crunch to get to my destination. They had to refer me to the 65th street location to get the truck I needed. Completely out of my way. At least the gentlemen at 65th street were kind and helped me. It is a hit or miss with renting a uhaul. This experience was an inconvenience for me.

ERIC R.1) Online system did not properly complete my reservation despite uploading ID all info on pot online had to be completed again @ the counter. 2) The interior is overcrowded I had to interrupt customers @ counter to let rep know I was waiting. He allowed me to drop keys & leave. Reps should be able to see all visitors & acknowledge them upon arrival. 3) I was over charged a 20 rental cost 55 & I only drove 10 miles. Now I have to waste more time getting clarification as I did not get a final receipt. I had to look at my bank statement to verify charges. 4) I was not made aware that emergency contact calls would be made. This should be disclosed as part of reservation process. 5) Wait times can be greatly expedited if these processes are improved.

(not to mention I can' believe it actually helps you reduce whatever fraud you are trying to avoid? LIke if I was going to scam you guys don't you think I could find 2 accomplices that I could get to say good things about me? REDICULOUS.
