I got over charged almost 500.00 they made a mistake and when I called to address the situation they hung up. I then called the general manager and explained the situation and he hangs up. Worst place over and they over charge you and lie about it. I have the proof and filed a complaint.Kevin K.
The van I rented was dirty inside and out. The pictures in the beginning of the checkout process did not show any damage but there was actual damage to the vehicle. The vehicle smells like smoke as well.Kristen B.
The young man who helped us drop off the vehicle transporter was very helpful and pleasant. But the following day - NO! Not in the least nor did he seem at all concerned with issues we brought up with the truck. It's sad to think ppl do the bare minimum at a place of employment.William T.

Make sure that customers returning after hours know about the self check in after returning equipment to avoid the fee! I was not happy when I saw my receipt the next day for something that would have been quick and easy to do myselfJENNIFERSUZANNE M.

Terrible service from emploee. 10 people waiting in line while he shot the shit with another customer for almost 10 minutes about random things. Told me I couldn't get a different truck than what I had on reservation although the uhaul system said available...then when I returned truck I went inside after talking to another customer by the propane. It was 20 degrees and windy outside. He was about 70 years old. He asked if I could get an employee. He said he was in line for 15 minutes then they told him to wait outside. He said he was there over 10 minutes and no one has come out. I went inside and 2 guy employees sitting at counter talking and eating chips. I told them the guy waiting. They said yeah we know we will get him! WHAT A JOKE. THAT IS WHY I GO TO HONE DEPOT AND GET HERTZ!Timmy R.

1. The truck's check engine light was light the entire time without explanation. It ran okay, but whenever it hesitated, I wondered if I was going to get stuck. 2. I only drove about 35 miles today with the truck, but needed to put in almost 8 gallons of gas to get the gas gauge back to the original amount. Does the truck really get 4-5 miles per gallon???? I'm planning on needing another truck in a few weeks that will need closer to 60 miles of travel...I will go elsewhere if this anywhere close to typical! 3. The app did not let me complete the return process. I tried a number of times but it stalled when it wanted a photo of the odometer and gas gauge...it allowed me to take the photo and tried to upload it, but then wouldn't upload or give me any warning of issues. Overall, I was frustrated by the amount of time needed to use the app, both at pickup and the failure of the app at return. I did go inside and the worker was available and took care of the rest of my check in.Robert C.
U-Haul personnel were very understanding about my worker trying to use the U-Haul pick up truck to hold me hostage by not returning the truck. They got the truck back to your facility without any problems when I told them the address where the truck was located.JAMES G.

Overall, renting and returning the truck was a great experience, the interior of the truck was spotless, moved along good on the highway! Our dealings with both gentleman was a good experience, I will continue recommending U-haul to everyone who needs a moving veh icle!JOHN CHARLES W.
Truck was damaged and had a exhaust leak, they had newer trucks on lot, and gave me the oldest truck they had. Didn't make any sense to rent out a damaged and leaking exhaust vehicle. Would not recommend this location to anyone.Leon S.

This was the second location I had to go do to get a truck. While the actual pickup location was good and the staff was helpful, it was very inconvenient to have to go to multiple locations to find the truck I wanted. The truck at the original location I went to would not start, so they were able to send me to this location.Rachel K.

I reserved a uhaul truck in advance to help move my mother in law to an apartment. I called day before to let them know I maybe be late due to her being released from hospital in am. Guy at the location stated that's fine because you get the truck for 24 hrs, if need. I only needed for 3 hrs . I show up at 11am, it's day of snow storm, too. I guy immediately said, "Your Late" I apologized and even said I had a rough morning. He than said,"you know we have a location in Madison hgts. Well I always come here for my propane needs. He said again well there is one in Madison hgts 11 John r with an attitude and Rude. Didn't seem happy to have my business. I live in Madison hgts but you still are closer. I'm at 13 dequindre and u guys at 13 ryan. Anyhow, I didn't feel need to explain..The guy was rude and didn't seem happy at all to service me. I guess he rather send people to a different location in future. Awful customer service and bad attitude. I had it back less than 3 hours. Didn't appreciate his attitude as I couldn't get away at my job talking to customers that way.Michele A.
Reserved a 27 foot truck a week in advance. Went to pick it up and had to wait 15 mins for anyone to come help. Only to find out the truck i required was not there. No one called to inform me or anything. The 20 foot truck was not enough to fit everything and that extra 7 feet made all the difference. Would not recommend based of my experience.Randy D.

1. I waited 20 minutes in store, no staff was inside. When the staff showed up, no apology, no explanation. 2. He asked for my driver license and credit card, I put them on the counter, he throwed them to another counter, unprofessional. 3. The sign pad asked me to insert/slide my driver license, I asked him twice about whether or not should I insert/slide, he became inpatient, where comes your attitude? 4. I booked a 10' truck. Looked at the trucks in store front, they all have ramps. The stuff guided me to the far side of the store which was closer to the road, give me a very old truck. I wasn't aware at the time, but later find this was intentional - he gave me a old truck with no ramp, very dirty inside, the windows, doors, and mirrors are not even powered, riding comfort is the worst I had. 5. When he showed me the back of the truck, I simply asked "Is there any places to hold a refrigerator?" He acted like I was stupid and spoke poor English and had no eyes - discrimination is clear. 6. I was moving a refrigerator with its heights lower than the truck room height (pre- measured), but still cannot stand the refrigerator up. Had to laid it down - lucky the cooling liquid did not leak. Pay the money, did not received the quality - disappointed. 7. I drove the truck back to Uhaul return area. The sign says I simply need to wait in the truck so that a staff will come to check. I waited 10 minutes nothing happened. So I walked inside the store, only to find that same staff was chatting/joking with another young staff. Again, no apology, no explanation. 8. Never come back. Rob was great! Super helpful, answered all of my questions and provided everything we needed for a successful experience. Only wrinkle in our trip was an issue with the gas gauge. It never registered as full, even after I couldn't pump any more into the tank. When we left, it was at 3/4, 3 hours later, when I pumped gas it only registered up to 3/4 full.Carol E.
