Nadine MylesI reserved 4 dollies and 6 moving blankets. When I got there the get the truck they told me they had one dolly and no blankets. If you can tell me which trucks are available you should be able to tell me if there aren’t any dollies when I reserve them so that I can buy some before hand and not waste time with my rental.

Andrew GalajdaThe advertisement on $19.95 seemed so unfair. A lot of hidden cost goes behind. Made a reservation seeing this advertisement and ended up paying ~$74 just for 15 miles and 3 hours. If U-Haul thinks this is fair pricing, then I think customers should clearly be explicitly explained about all of the possible charges, instead of showing up a huge amount at the end as surprise. At least I wouldn't have used U-Haul for this short distance and time, if I was made aware of this huge bill earlier.

Chris De MincoI should have just been able to drop off the trailer and leave, but instead they wanted me to back the trailer into a small spot behind the building which took me about 8 attempts because of trying to avoid hitting other trailers parked there. Was there around 15 minutes. Improve? Have a small ATV or Tractor to move the trailers into their designated parking spots by the employees after the customer has left.

john kibaI had checked in online, met the attendant in the office, and then we went out and hooked up the trailer. I left and he called me a while later to say we had more paperwork to do so I went back. Why hook up if everything wasn't done? He checked brake and turn signals but not running lights and one one out. The trailer also leaked and the tie down rails inside were broke. When returning, the app wouldn't let me return the trailer unless I checked that everything was fine. If I entered feedback about the issues it wouldn't let me return.

Gary OdonnellI filled the U-haul truck because I was ready to travel $67.75.There was a screw in the tire that caused me to go to the Jefferson Road location for a replacement. No one me to show them the location of the screw in the tire. The representative at Jefferson Road location was not customer service focused. No one from the Ajax location called the Jefferson Road location to notify them why I was coming. When I arrived to the Jefferson Road location, the representative was sure how to process an Emergency Vehicle report. While I was waiting, I asked to use the restroom. I was told that the location didn’t have a Public restroom and I had to go across the road to the gas station. I didn’t think that was a proper response and didn’t respond inappropriately. I asked about reimbursement for the fuel and told to call the 800 number. I called the 800 number that evening and received a reference number 4616217. I was told someone would contact me in 1-3 days. I never received any call.
Glen JeterSet up a confirmation system for customers uploading damage photos. I sent a photo of minor damage during the pickup/inspection process, but nothing was sent to me to confirm U-haul actually received the photo. I had to ask the service person to come back out to verify and mark the damage which he did. I am very happy with the rental. It worked out great.

I had a horrible experience dropping off the truck and it’s unclear to me as to whether Kay made a mistake in entering the drop off location or what happened. She was at least much friendlier and helpful than any of the other people at the other locations I spoke to.

Daryl MooreheadLocation is cramped, both inside and outside. One of the curb cuts is blocked by rental equipment. There's enough room in the lot to get around, but not much room getting in and out with rented equipment (trailers and trucks). Staff is helpful and kind but it took a long time to pick up equipment--almost 30 minutes for a trailer and dolly. Just a few people in line and two people on staff.

Madeleine BrooksI rented Ford van but got GMC van ( I must rent again in order to finish my move, it was too shorth), they said that tank was full but as soon as I got on Expressway it dropped and I only made 106 miles but had to put 12 gallons and the gauge moved passed full after I was done with refueling. I spoke with agent and she told me that I can bring car later and there will be no charge, but today agent told me that he will charge me for two days. He was rude, called me names and told me to leave the building, told him that I will record him and I did. I was there 6 minutes after 8am and he showed up around 8:30 and was checking in cars, asked him if I can check in but he told me to wait until 9am. When I got into office, he asked for the key and told me to leave the office and that I will get receipt in the mail. In general he was very rude and moody and of course unhappy that he had to work on Christmas Eve. I told him that I am not paying for two days and he needs to verify with lady from previous day, I asked for manager and he told me that he is the one, I never got paper receipt. I recorded him and this was the worst experience that I got in years and especially on Christmas Eve, I had to take some medication to call me down. My question is what is wrong with your employees because I worked in customer service for few years and I would never imagine to talk to people like he did.
ARTUR ZAWADAI've used this facility 3 times. The first two, everything was as expected and staff were very helpful. On this most recent experience, I rented a 20 foot truck for 6 hours and prepaid for moving supplies. When I returned the truck, I handed the keys to the attendant (who helped check out the truck to me) who was outside checking in another truck. He said he'd take care of everything. 24 hours later, I have yet to receive a receipt for my rental listing the final charges and amount billed to my credit card. As it currently stands, I have no idea whether my rental has concluded or is still ongoing. This is the first time I've experienced this with UHaul, so am understandably concerned.
