The form upon retuning the Uhaul after the center closed didn't work which caused a bit of confusion/stress. However, the staff working when we picked up was really great!

Why show satellite UHaul locations with truck pickup, when you can NOT get trucks at them. Cost extra dollars driving to the main location and Thn have added mileage costs with the truck rental. $.89/km meant an extra $12.00 charge versus picking up a truck at the local UHaul dealer!! POOR management EQUALS ADDED COSTS to customer!!

Dolly and moving pads weren’t in the truck, the way the trucks are parked makes it tough to open the back and check before leaving. We didn’t notice until after we’d left the lot and started packing. Maybe parking the trucks in a way where it’s easier to check first would help.

It was overall good and easy. My locator service would not work to return -but we left it at the yard late at night and I confirmed in the morning and received my receipt. Thanks for a great first experience with U-Haul - we will use again!!

Although I did rate the location above average I did not appreciate that I reserved a dolly for my move and when I arrived the morning of I was informed they did not have one, they did offer that I could use the larger appliance dolly which I took as I needed something and no time to located other options but was not aware I would be charged for the larger dolly

I wasn't sure how my experience would be this time, because last year (April 2023) when I rented from this location the manager had no customer service qualities, AT ALL! However, this time, the customer service was pleasant, quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend this location now that I see management has changed!

Maybe. But the desk clerk was very confusing and delayed my rental by one hour. Making me call my bank etc to verify payment went through even though your computer said it was paid, , and then had to call your head office

Check-in and return was fast and easy. Trailer was in good shape. I did have to lubricate the two ratchets for the tie down straps, but they worked well after that.

Seats are all dirty with dogs hair. In all the way i have to hear a loud sound of the screws or some metal stuff loose at back end. At least give a minimum services of what you are charging for

The receptionist was very helpful as were other staff. The trailer was filthy. Also no crank on the trailer to get the trailer on and off the car hitch…thank goodness we had a car jack.

There was a lady who had helped me with swapping our original reserved truck after we had noticed that it was to large for what we needed it for. She was exceptional with her service and getting us in a truck that was just right. 10/10 customer service the whole way!!! Please make sure she gets a giant thank you from us! Picking up uhaul truck is very far you need to walk around the building before picking up your truck.

In which the whole bases for Our contract, Your revenue, and Our need to protect with Advanced Security protocol, insurance policy covering $5000, a nightly Security(Who can’t get in the building?!), Locks are all under Company supply…. Yet my items have not been returned to me in the same manner I left them. Thousands of dollars and efforts have been displaced. It is disappointing on top of that is having to then pay $275~ for 1 month of storage and not get the same value from the business. Staying calm is the best way to get to the heart of a issue but there needs to be the engagement level from staff that are looking to represent the customer first, the logic and care behind the interactions, and then the name of which you work for.

The only concern I had was the windows were not clean as I like, having said that there was frost on the windows and the truck wasn’t warm yet, after driving for a bit I cleaned them as I put gas in. Very courteous staff, and everything booked on line, well done.

Lots of conflict with other customers and slow. People waiting in line, verbal confrontation between customers and U-Haul staff. You reserve on line, wait in line still a slow process. Offered to have final bill emailed to me once I dropped off the truck never received final invoice after saying yes I needed a copy. Not very responsive to people dropping off vehicles you have seek out service from u-haul staff. My vehicle was blocked in by a u-haul truck after I dropped off the rental, had to wait as there were no designated parking spots for customers.

The hitch was not tight when I left the store after pickup. By the time I got home it required tightening. It took approx 10 turns to tighten. Every time I braked the trailer moved. Once I loaded the trailer and drove home I had to tighten about the same amount again. The trip to the final destination was 250km and went without further incident. When I returned to Uhaul to drop it we had trouble getting it to loosen, I had to do it, and it took all I had to get it done. The hitch was binding on the threads which were dry and corroded. The hitch needed to be serviced. The trailer itself was great though.

The ladies at the desk were delightful. The return process was a hassle since there was no convenient box to drop the keys after completing the process online. The guy who took the van back was rude for no reason, I just wasn’t sure where to drop the key off so I wasted my time in the line for no reason.

The front desk was friendly and helpful. It was snowing the night before and that morning, however, when I went to pickup the truck I reserved for 8am at 8:15am it was cleaned off and warmed up ready to go.

It's the worst experience ever, first time rent U-Haul, didn't know suppose to take pictures of car, getting a huge charge after it, when returned car the employee went to check car and said no issues and after few hours called said there's a crack on somewhere, I will never ever use U-Haul again in my whole life and will try dispute the charge

I rented a 15’ truck from you today for a move. Upon arrival I used the self check in feature on my phone. We I did the process and found the truck I would be renting for the day. It was covered in a layer of ice that took me 15 min to get off the windshield, then I started the truck to find that it was completely empty of gas it had 6 miles till empty, then I find that the lock and back door are frozen shut and it took at least 20 min to get the back of the uhaul empty. I was not happy with my experience with uhaul this time. I would appreciate some sort of compensation for this major inconvenience.

The lady that I reported to about the vehicle not being able to move and she asked me to come and see it with me. She came out and saw how freezing the weather was and she went back in and could not call me to follow her to use the inside of the company and I was waiting for in the cold weather. That was mean. Again the vehicle fuel gauge was not properly recorded instead exaggerated. If I had not taken a picture of it before taking the vehicle I was almost charged $61 for some things I do not know. I will never recommend anyone

I could never recommend this location to anyone. And if I could give 0 start i will do it. First I was given the wrong address to pick up the truck. Then the so call “manager” is just a rude entitled person. Came at us about the blankets, which i was never told they were rented because we took them out of the truck. I was neither told where to park the truck when bringing it back so i parked and was on my way inside to ask, one of the worker that was with her came up saying that was not a spot to park for return. I explained i was going inside to ask as we just got there and they didn’t say. After that Her and the employee kept harassing us about it even when I explained we were going inside and I was just moving my car from the way to backup the truck; It blows my mind that they even stop on their way out (as they were leaving the property in their on car!) just to talk the way they did and harass us to the point she accused me of “giving attitude to her employee” and now I won’t be allowed to rent from U-haul “ever again” like she said. She even run in like a 2 year old to put me on “the list”. It was pointless asking to talk to a “manager” or someone more educated as she has no sense of listening to the customers and thinks she can talk down to people. It was a horrible experience and I would like to fill out a official complaint. I am sure I am not the first person to be treated so poorly by this “manager”

The AC/fan stopped working on a rainy day, manager wanted to return the truck and swap for a different one but we already where packed. Charged us for gas but later it was their mistake. While communicating about getting credit that was left on my account didn't mention they automatically send cheques after 24 hrs. You can improve by making sure the air works in all of your trucks and have a better refund policy.

Due to the ongoing harassment from the manager of the site after doing everything asked of me to clean out and downsize which she quoted me on and then gave me a hard time through many emails and was ignorant throughout the process. Still has not been resolved Another employee was handling everything and seen my unit was cleaned out and put into one unit to downsize and confirmed it in person and then I was harassed again from the manager.

I ordered 3 trucks and a storage unit over the course of of 3 months. Everyone was extremely helpful and helped with anything I needed. I love the fact that you have to swipe to disarm and swipe to open the door and you have your own lock for the unit itself. I needed a smaller unit and they were very accommodating about putting my new unit on the same floor so I could move things easily enough. I will highly recommend to others!

The new GM Melanie is A Star - 5 Stars 11/10! Brittany was also super friendly and helpful. All the staff are friendly, said hello, and always smiling. This is the BEST Uhaul I've ever used! Trucks and trailers are all top quality as well. Highly recommend!

I dealt with Tori Ellis at the storage facility. She made my day after dealing with all the poor service and being lied to by 3 U Haul facilities in and around the Saint John NB area. Tori stayed with me from check in at storage to taking care of the truck return. At least one U Haul employee showed great customer care and empathy. She is a great asset to U Haul.

U-Haul’s new York Street facility in London, Ontario was easily accessed with plenty of convenient parking. The site GM (Tory) was a great help and responded promptly to any questions which arose throughout our rental period. We would unreservedly recommend U-Haul to our family and friends.

Slight issue with a staff member inputting an incorrect number on miles travelled, resulting in an overage charge. Spoke with another staff member and after about 15 minutes we had it resolved and the charge removed.
