William NInitially I was charged $54.81 but when viewing my credit card I saw an additional charge for $11.77 and I have no ideal what this charge was added for. My contract shows vehicle# DC2862N but I was given the keys for vehicle D26431. Which was returned with the correct gas amount and mileage. I was assured I wouldnt be charged for anything accured on the vehicle that shows on my contract. I would like a call back at 843 453-2398

Cael PThere were two dudes randomly sparring each other in the office. I think they were employees but I don't know. Very unprofessional and distracting. Alyssa and Ashley were professional and helpful. I dropped my rental off just after closing hours and Alyssa took the time to check it back in rather than having me put the key in the Dropbox.

WILLIAM RFrom the initial contact with Alyssa & Ashley to the hitch installation by David this was a professional and outstanding experience. Installing a hitch on an Audi Q5 is not an easy job and the price was right. They all were so kind and courteous to us. It was well worth the 2 hour ride to get there. We highly recommend West Florence U-Haul for any service that they provide. If we could give them 10 stars we would!
Phillip KThe service was OK, but the truck was terrible. - drivers door seal was loose and there was extreme noise rushing in fire the entire trip. Couldn't hear the passenger talk with out yelling. Almost impossible to hear the radio. Very nerve-wracking. - truck had over 100k miles and check engine light was on the entire time. At one point it started losing speed even though the peddle was down. I was not informed of a text or email to access a link to inspect the truck. Saw it once I got home. By that time it was too late to submit because I already left the site. When I saw the door seal damaged, I walked back in to tell the clerk. He was gone. I hollard but no one came. I left without notifying anyone. I'll probably use Irby St. Next time.

Harvey WI could not use the air or heat because of the disgusting cigarette smell. I was given a trailer that didn’t fit what I needed it for. It cost $25 in gas every hour of driving. I had to leave things behind and someone had to follow me back from 2 hours away. So I would say my business with U-Haul was a very negative experience.

yovanne pThe service at this location was great. I however, was not happy about the way I was treated by Uhaul overall. I was not told until the day I was to pickup my rental that the site I reserved it didn't have it. I was in transit from Atlanta to NC already. They told me they didn't have one within 100 miles of the location I was "supposed" to go. I was "lucky" in that they did call me while I was still on the road and figured out that the car trailer was at this location. I ended up pulling the trailer from here to Wilmington NC.
HOWARD SThe check engine light was on. The Florence location offered to trade it out, so I can't complain about the handling of the situation. I chose not to drive back and do that.
Ervin SI definitely recommend this facility. The workers are helpful and friendly. I would make only 1 suggestion: when you change a policy, like requiring 2 swipes to get in and then again as you move in and out, post a notice or send an email. I got locked out because i didn’t have my swipe card when I went out to get something from my car. Other than that, this facility is the best I have used, and I‘ve used storage units all across the country.

Angela KWe were charged $25.00 for a cleaning fee for a smoke smelly van. Told there was mud under the pedals ... really. We use Uhaul an extreme amount of time and we are very disappointed. This is not the first time we encountered a smoke smelly van and many times the van already has dirt on the floors as well as paper in the multiple compartments. We will be looking for another rental company - we rent a truck or van multiple times a month but will search out new rentals due to the lack of customer service. Also you need to train your people on how to read the gas gauge in your new vans because we were told there was 2/9 gas and it only took 23.00 to top it off - UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

Gary LService is ALWAYS slow. There is always a line and it always takes forever to get a storage or truck rented. Customers want to be in and out quickly. I've been here several times and its always the same. A line because of slow service.

We called the 800 number but they were unable to help with the door, however we were given the number for the general manager.The general manager informed us that the door was on a timer. The door being on a timer was critical need to know information that we were not given! Additionally, the restrooms had a bad odor that spread throughout the storage area.

Jason M | First ImpressionsThe facility is severely understaffed. No one available to answer the phone. Staff needs training in basic operations. Too much reliance on automated phone system. You need to simplify check out and check in procedures. One person cannot handle the volume of phone calls or the volume of customers for such a large facility. You need at least 2 people on staff at that facility at at times. So what if there are periods of downtime. That’s goes with running any business. You must have the staff on hand to handle walk in traffic. I watched potential customers walk out after waiting for a long time and not bing served. One person is not enough to handle such a large facility alone. The staff was doing their best but I would not patronize this facility again. The long waits to be served, the unanswered phone calls, lack of basic knowledge by some members of the added up to a frustrating experience when the manager was not on duty. You need more training about basic operations and at least 2 people on duty at all times.
