CHIDOZIE OI came in and was greeted, service was great my only concern is the equipment car hauler I will never ever rent again the ratcheting tire straps where stuck when I load the car on got it unstuck and was able to secure the vehicle at least I thought I had to stop at every rest stop on my way to my destination the equipment was making so much noise like it was gonna detach I’m glad I stopped at the first rest stop the tire straps came aloose and I made sure they was tight when I left and at the down position and secured the chains underneath, the rear of the vehicle was at the edge of the trailer on 3 occasions on 1 occasion the tire strap complete unloosened from the wheel and was on my axle an 8hr trip took turn into 12hrs of driving I was so scared I was driving between 30mph-45mph on the highway and going down hill trailer was swaying left to right I thank god I was able to make it to my destination I will never ever ever rent that again

Christian and Patrick were very helpful getting setup at the start, Patty was also very helpful getting my billing and autopsy set up correctly. The facility is really nice and was very easy to load and unload with the loading bays. The lighting and access were fantastic. Thank you for a great experience and will definitely use this facility again and recommend for others in the future both for storage and rentals.

TINO BI did my reservation on your app. I did the preregistration to same time and that was great. When I arrived at this U-Haul location the young man first outdoor find me than he said he was trying to find me a better rate , I offered several times to pay what ever it was so I could leave with the van. Now after more than 30 minutes and the van had only a quarter tank of gas. And now have to get gas and get stuck in Pittsburgh rush traffic in town. I hated U-Hule every STOP n GO !!!!!!!

Laura GI was on the highway and I attempted to clean my windshield I turned on the spray but the wipers didn’t clean the solution off the inshield I couldn’t see could have been in a serious accident all due to faulty windshield wipers never again the location was fine but the equipment was terrible! The brakes were shot as well! I should sue because that was very dangerous

Casey HI originally ordered a 10x10x10 storage unit but when I went back to the unit it had a lock on it. I went to speak with the individual working that day and they were unable to remove the lock and there were no other units at the same size. The person working was very helpful and provided me with two 5x10x10 units to make up for the error at the same price as the 10x10x10.

Blake and Vince were great - prompt, courteous, helpful. This was the nicest U-Haul center I've ever visited and the vehicle was cleanest vehicle I've ever rented - truck, van or car.

No staff came by to investigate, nothing. Had I been a bad actor it appears I would have been able to break into my unit with no intervention by staff. I also was unnerved when no staff were in the front office when I arrived to close my unit out and when I finished emptying it for inspection. The alarm went off and yet no staff came rushing out to see who I was for several minutes. Security here is very lax and I would hesitate to rent space here in the future.

I gave cash and it was oh I can't open the draw and try to find someone who knows how to. Also they seemed in a hurry to go back out and to play football Also who's idea was it to put the service desk way back in the corner of the store There is all that space in the front where the desk should be.Its ridiculous to have to walk all the way back to the corner The staff needs a little help getting there act together. I was in there on time paying on my unit and a girl had to keep asking a guy to help her again open the drawer and he kept talking to someone about a motorcycle he was going to sell. Finally I asked him can you please help her,he said ok but while helping her he kept talking about his bike. Sorry to have to report this but sometimes you just have to. Thank You

Joan M | First ImpressionsLengthy process to check-in... ended up needing counter help due to long wait and lack of communication with online representative and return was even more lengthy and frustrating... was told in advance to "just park it in the return area and put the keys in the dropbox", but then ended up needing multiple pictures and information from vehicle which was no longer accessible without keys to turn on dashboard indicators. This should have been clearly advised IN ADVANCE, perhaps when checking in, to save time and frustration. Specific steps for arrival and entering storage area- entering code to disarm, opening/closing garage, breaking temporary 'lock' (zip-tie), entering code when leaving, etc... should be posted in garage area. Some things have instructions but nowhere could I find a complete checklist of what all I was supposed to do. **Also, the speed-bump in parking lot is unusually high and scraped the underside edge of passenger side/door area. Who should I contact regarding damages?? I was advised inside by employee that U-haul installed that.
Ingrid P | Online Move InI swapped out my unit for one closer to the loading bay. When I went to move in my code did not work. I tried using the call button on the alarm unit. It went to customer service instead of the office. It was pouring rain so I opted to walk through the facility to go back to the office. I went to exit through loading bay 1 & 2. I didn't notice but I'm guessing the roof leaks. I slipped and fell injuring my knee and back. At no time did the motion lights come on. I got up and proceeded to the office. I told them what happened and they didn't seem to concerned about it. I asked about my unit code not working and it turns out the order was never completed. So they redid the order and I was on my way. I went back later in the evening to unload and items. And my lock that I was given from the office wouldn't unlock. It was seized up and the key snapped off. So now. I can't get access to the items in my unit or put others in the unit.

Contractors were painting the pavement and refused entry to our unit tho NOTHING was mentioned the previous day when reserving a truck for the specific purpose of cleaning it out! We moved the cones to gain entry and empty my unit. The girls were being bombarded with complaints and I get that, but neither should be in the customer service industry with how they talked about the customers when they walked away irate...can't take the heat, get outta the kitchen...poor company representation from the get go Saturday...tho I cannot say 1 bad thing about Josh who always went above and beyond...especially while I was having banking issues and was late 2 months...aside from Saturday, my experience was pleasant. I told them I drove all the way from Pittsburgh and needed a truck to pickup furniture. I finally got a 10 ft truck a hour later. I was late for my pickup for the furniture and almost missed the pickup, That made the trip very aggravating. But I must say the manager Amy helped me with the situation of the trip.She was very nice to work with.

So I had to lug equipment down 2 flights of stairs and woke my kids and neighbors. The person that checked me into the facility took me to the computer and personally set me up for 24 hour access.

karen s | First Impressionsi was very impressed with josh at west view, pa storage..very helpful,clean facility,and was very respectful, and could tell he understood my needs..although i made reservations a month in advance for a 20 foot uhaul and a trailer to pull my car 1400 mile from austin to pittsburgh..i was told to come to rundberg austin texas location to pick up truck and trailer, and then was told i needed to go 30 miles out of my wayto pick up vehicle, which set us back 6 hrs, so turned out i had to stay an extra night in a hotel..and the person i spoke to at rundberg austin was not polite, and i almost lost my kool on him, but remained calm..don't know if i will use uhaul againfor transporting any of my items..storage on the other hand yes will continue to use uhaul store at west view pa location..i was told by customer service that i would be compensated for my incovience, but never heard back from anyone..thank you
