Store represitive did not perform the pre walk around check did not give me any paperwork to write down any damage and when I returned the uhaul I was charged a damage fee I did not do. I will not be using uhaul anymore and will not be referring any one I know or meet to uhaul.

It was truly written all over his face that I was a burden to him. Other than that, the location was easy to get to and the cargo van was clean.

I ended up paying almost $54 more for driving 54 miles. Maybe, because it was Good Friday weekend it costs more cents a mile. I don’t know. Either offer unlimited or lower mileage price that’s my suggestion.

John tI chose the mobile app pick up, because I had used it before and no problems. This time the app did not work and I had to get assistance from a very friendly and helpful attendant on site. However there was a snow storm the day before and freezing temps the next morning. The entire lot was not plowed or cleared. It was one giant sheet of ice. The surface was so slick the attendant suggested we drive to the other side of the lot. For a company that rents out large trucks it shocked me to see that nothing was done to ensure the safety of customers and the vehicles they rented. The truck also needed to have the snow and ice scraped off the windshield. Since my agreement is time sensitive and for the amount of money I'm paying I would expect the truck to be ready and the app to be working properly. The app never provided instructions to find the key. The overall pick up time took me close to an hour.

She had to use a crowbar just to get it started and then with my assistance we only got the door about halfway up she recommended I use some WD-40 on it which I should not have to do for what I paid for this trailer but I fixed your door I would appreciate a discount.

Everyone else was wonderful to work with but the check in process with this one employee was so tedious I will avoid the office as much as possible to avoid a repeat experience.

Bill W | First ImpressionsI'd like to start this review by saying that the ONLY reason I gave my experience an excellent rating is because of one specific person and his willingness to go above and beyond to help out a tired, frantic, overwhelmed single mom when all she wanted to do was get her things into her new storage unit and rest after a long day of moving. The process for reserving and checking in online was incredibly easy. I loved that I didn't have to talk to anyone. However, I wish I had because I found out that I would have gotten my first month free. I saw it advertised on the website, but it was not offered to me online when I reserved the unit. Live and learn, I suppose. Here's where the issue arose. I loved the communication about hours and availability when I reserved the unit and I made sure to check the hours SEVERAL times before we decided to bring things over. In the emails I received, it was stated that the access hours for the storage units were till 6pm every day. My partner and I showed up at approximately 10 minutes till 6pm on Sunday, November 28, to unload our things and were told that the storage access was already closed because the new facility was only operating during office hours and the office closed at 5pm on Sundays. I was DEVASTATED. I had nowhere else to take my things and was about to have a full-blown panic attack right there in the loading/unloading area. Thankfully, the wonderful, amazing, life-saving man (I believe his name was Todd) who was just getting off work opened the doors to allow us to very quickly move all of our things into the storage unit. I know that he got quite a tongue-lashing from his boss for doing it, but I was so incredibly grateful for him having a little compassion and taking time out of his personal time to help us out. This man deserves all the recognition in the world for going above and beyond the call of duty. He didn't have to get my attention to inform me about the building being closed. He could have just let me stand out there confused and, to be frank, completely screwed. He didn't have to listen to my sob story about having nowhere else to go with the things. And he DEFINITELY didn't have to get chewed out by his superior for making the decision to provide exceptional customer service and help me out. It may not seem like much, but to me he was a complete and total life-saver and I will be forever grateful for his kindness and compassion at time when I needed it most. Had he not been there and made the decisions he did, this would have been a 1-star review.
