I got there to return my equipment, the office was closed with a note they were in the back lot with a phone number. I called them a couple times before they even answered me. The lady said it would be about 10 minutes before she could get to the office. I waited over 20 minutes she never came, I had to leave the equipment there.

Everything was fine overall, but there was one inconvenience on move-in I would like to share since you asked. In the row where my unit was located, there were 2 pick up trucks at the end blocking access into / out of this row of units. Not to make assumptions, but these trucks seemed to belong to employees because during the time I was there moving in they were just parked with no one in sight or anywhere near the vehicles. I drove around and entered the row from the opposite end of the row from where the trucks were parked, but while I was there another storage customer entered the end I entered from and was working for a bit as well. During the time they were there, there was no open way in or out of the row for my vehicle. For me to leave at that point, I would have had to back my SUV all the way down the row (since the row isn't big enough to turn around my vehicle) and ask that customer if they could move for me to back out, as there was not enough space to get by. They ended up leaving before I did so ultimately it wasn't an issue to have to get by them, but it was still a bit precarious to have to back my vehicle all the way down the row (it was getting darker out as well) and be sure not to graze either side while also watching for cars entering the only end that was open. It would have been much easier to drive down the row in one direction, and leave in that same direction. Again, I don't mean to presume that it was employees parked there, I could be wrong about that, but whoever owned the trucks had them parked blocking the entrance / exit of the row and no one was accessing any storage units near them, or otherwise ever came out near the trucks at all, so it seemed they were parked there rather long-term. In the end this wasn't a huge deal, but I did think at the time that if I had been towing a small trailer (which I expect to on an upcoming trip there since I plan to move my stuff from the storage unit to one of your towables which I will tow with my SUV), it would have been a nightmare to have to back a trailer down the long row to get out. So I'm hoping this isn't a common issue on return. I don't mean this to sound overly-critical, but since you asked for feedback I just wanted to share this as it was a concern on my first trip / move-in there.

I transferred to a bigger unit and paid for it. Was moved out of 1st unit before due date and told the office person but you still took the payment for the unit I no longer have. Poor communication and your people were in my new unit because the lock was on differently. They should not go in unless I am notified first. Refund the payment for 779. Thank you.

We needed a place to store our items that we need for the winter in Florida. We are renting a house in Florida for a few months and couldn't bring everything in our car. We are happy with the services provided at the U-Haul in Haines City. They provided a safe place for our belongings. A light inside our storage space would have been very helpful. The light from the hallway was not bright enough to put light inside the storage area. Using a flashlight is a must.

The company we hired to help us unload they were very rude to. They would speak to us but not to them. We believe it was a racial issue; very discouraging. We were restricted on getting more than one box out at a time. We had two vehicles and wanted each one to tow so we had a leap frog situation going. We had to demand this and state this would take 2 days if we didn't and we would have to pay the movers another day. We were never told about no refunds on the monthly storage. We paid for 4 days of a month and Uhaul gets 27 days extra on the boxes. If we would've known this we would've gotten them emptied sooner. We ended up paying Uhaul $10,000.00 and you can't refund us $600.00; very disappointed. We have friends that are getting ready to move. I'll definitely warn them about our struggles.

Uhaul had roaches in the cabin. I reserved a storage unit that wasn't available and was told to come back to next day because ppl move in and out all the time. I didn't have time to go back to see if a unit was available. I had a turn in time for 5pm, but missed the time because I had to find a storage unit. Customer service was nice, truck rode well

I've used many storage units over the years, and by far this is the best location I've had the pleasure of using, including other uhaul locations. The staff, Kelly and frank, have gone above and beyond in helping me with my storage needs. They always called me with changes in billing, changing unit locations to best suit my financial needs, and helped me with moving my things. They even came in to help me unlock my unit when I locked myself out. They helped me by working around my schedule, not theirs. They always treated me with kindness, and like I was the most important customer. I could go on and on. Please let them know how much I appreciated their service, and kindness. They truly have taken great care of me and my belongings since 2019.

They advertise one price and then by the time you’re already in there and how are your stuff in there than they go up on the prize like a big-time no I don’t think I would recommend it to anybody I’m sorry I’d be lying if I did and then I’ll top of that your key only works whenever it wants to work so you have to go back-and-forth from the front to the back to check in to check out and then sometimes it works and sometimes it on and then on top of that if you’ve already open the door one time then it’s hard to return to the carts because usually I won’t it won’t open again but anyways I’m glad I’m just done with that experience and I’ll never do it again

Very impressed on how easy it was to rent a trailer and then when returning, a 1-2-3 done. Renting a storage unit was very easy and Frank was an excellent staff and patient who answered a lot of questions on the phone and helped us get into a unit as fast as possible. Thank you

The older gentleman I believe his name is Frank, in the end was the reason I didn’t leave. The employee which I wont name. Didn’t seem like he really knew what he was doing. I was interested in the 24 hour access that’s advertised and I was told they don’t do that there unless it’s a unique situation. Near the end of my visit Frank told the guy “you’re going to fast” bc he forgot to have me sign the contract. The response of the employee was “well I have things to do.” I admit I got there a little late in the day. However, the directions I received from google sent me to a Mexican restaurant at first which is why i didn’t arrive until 30 mins to close. In the end the employee seemed as if he’d be happier if I had just left but Frank is the reason I didn’t.

Excellent except she didnt clear us out when we took our things out. She took the card back from us but did not record that we were out of the unit . We do have a receipt from that day we took our stuff out though cause we rented a truck for our move out of the area for Jan 6th and have the receipt for it. We checked out of that unit the same day. Over all it was the cleanest and well kept place we have EVER used
