William AI found the uhaul location in downtown Jax to be clean and inviting in the customer service area. The manager was very professional and kind. He even called me back after finding my son's cell phone in the truck I had rented. I had used this uhaul location for a storage space just over ten years ago. It was disgusting with people actually living in the storage units. My daughter had rented the truck for me otherwise I never would have used the location....What a pleasnt surprise. It is obvious the present manager has done an outstanding job in turning the location around. He deserves a raise.

It was a confusing and frustrating experience dealing with the 24/7 feature. Our key was in the wrong box with a different key. The truck was fine but the experience was stressful. Not going to tell people to use uhaul. There are other options. Also. My price was in the mid 400’s. Then it jumped to the mid 500’s. Then when I picked up truck it jumped to the 620’s. Very very deceptive on price from reservation to actual truck pick up. U-Haul needs to be more transparent and less confusing

The elevators were down for well over 6 months. This is UNACCEPTABLE on all levels! Although cost was zero out monthly, I had items in storage 2 months after I closed/moved into new house. My wife was very upset by this lack. Corporate needs to do better!!!

The next day I could not start moving things back into the storage until I got off work at 6 and they told me that I had to be done by 7. With one more load to go I was told that I have would have to wait till the next day because the elevators would stop working and was lied to and told that there were no stairs. But what I find absolutely unacceptable is the fact that they only have one tiny little elevator that cannot accommodate a mattress or any size bed. As I was rushing to move all of my stuff into my storage the elevator kept stopping at every floor to pick up other traffic slowing down the time I had to move my stuff. An absolutely horrible horrible experience. Every other storage place even including other u-haul facilities have always had multiple industrial size elevators. I don't know who designed this place but it's a complete farce and a complete waste of my time and money. I could not be more disappointed.

Brian was really understanding of the situation and did give me a month free for the inconvenience. I would definitely use them again.

Access to the unit was no problem but I was really surprised that I couldn’t get into my Storage facility area after 8 PM. It would be nice if this location would allow some later hours for accessing my property. I should mention I wasn’t in this property very long for a week in one day however I wanted to come the night before I needed to clear it out and pack up the truck I had to wait until it open the next morning. There seems to be a lot of homeless people coming in and out of this location I’m not sure what the alternative is for these individuals. But the ease and thoughtfulness of the people that work at this location was paramount and very comforting to see
