Jan FMake the key drop location more obvious or have the picture on the website updated. I spent 45 minutes trying to find the key drop, because the picture on the website had an orange box, and the key drop was in the door of the maintenance area. Otherwise the people were nice and professional. Puck up was easy. It was just the after hours drop off that was bad, because the app wasn't working either.
COURTNEY GBetter computer systems. Offer to call back for extended wait times. Successfully call back. Not put things in notes where apparently no one is looking. If you say you're going to hold a charge when a customer asks, do so.

Angela K | Overall ExperienceI made a reservation by phone 3/28/24 to rent a trailer and confirmed on the phone; went to pick up trailer 3/29/24 and was advised they couldn’t rent it due to my Ford Explorer being older than 2012; wasn’t informed that when I made the reservation; had to rent a truck and go through the process three times because the agent didn’t understand what was happening until she had to get the manager who explained reason for technical issues; had to go to ‘plan b’ with no real apology or consideration as a first time customer at this location; maybe educate your employees and have a pop up on your screen when entering Explorer; agent had listed as Ford Escape; disappointing as location is one mile away

Diego GI went to the location on a Thursday and talked to the U-Haul employee. I told her I wanted a 15 Ft. truck for Saturday. She said they had plenty and no need to make a reservation. Got there Saturday and only 10 Ft. trucks were available. I should have made a reservation but because the U-Haul employee misled me I had to get the smaller truck. We crammed everything into the smaller truck and made it in one trip. Lesson learned is to always make a reservation.

Rickie DTremendous service by the team at U-Haul Moving and Storage of Dallas, GA! I've picked up two self-delivery UBoxes and had two delivery/pickups of UBoxes from my home (one more to go!). Drivers arrived on time and communicated with me before arrival. They made quick work of the drop-off and pickup, placing the containers exactly where I wanted them. The boxes were handled carefully -- no jarring drop or weird tilt - which helped keep my belongings safe and secure. Every staff person I encountered in my experience was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. This should be your "go-to" place for a do-it-yourself move; the staff is great and the prices are very competitive.
David RThe DC truck I rented had issues with it but since I was only in town I didn’t mind… The check engine light was on along with alignment issues and brakes need to be inspected. The suspension of the truck is on its last legs and the truck sways when driving. Trying to drive straight on road lanes is near impossible, possibly creating a hazard for other drivers. Amazing location with friendly staff to make up for it. The 26 footer I rented a week ago had more maintenance done to it to keep it smooth.
nestor mgood thing i was able to use my own dolly as i had reserved an appliance dolly but when i went to pick up the equipment i was informed they did not have one for me eventhough it was part of my reservation. I did expect that it would be available when i had a reservation. Again if i really needed it I would have been in deep trouble....

Bill HA few things: 1. Allow us to schedule reservations to retrieve items from the container in the app. 2. Post each site's hours to access containers (the site in Riverside where my container was stored could not provide access after 4 PM. 3. In the app, make the reservation process clear. I experienced great difficulty with trying to receive the items from my container.

Roland YI spoke with the manager Morgan and advised her to stop auto payments because I would be late. I advised her of the date I would be in with the payment. She continued to put them through causing me 3 over draft charging me $29 each. Was told by customer they were unable to reimburse me. Transferred local office and a young lady took my account of auto pay…she did see the note of when payment was being made. Morgan were to call me back about reimbursing overdraft fees. I still have not received a call as of today. I since have removed my items and of course Morgan was not there.

CONNIE S | Overall ExperienceOther than the lighting issue, the overall experience was great. Recommend installing motion sensors closer to the middle of aisles, so patrons don't have to walk nearly the entire length of the row in order to have ample lighting for their unit.
ANDREW B | Overall ExperienceI had to change out credit cards due to fraud. After this change, I had to call everyday because the UHaul system kept sending me late notices and wanting to charge me late storage fees. The day of my pod deliveries I had to pay another $216 in fees using a 3rd credit card. Even after this change I received late fees. All in all I had made calls to Uhaul and the service center every day (approx 9 calls) due to email late fees. U-Haul customer service was fantastic, but the payment system is the worse ever as it does not accept any changed payment methods. I feel I may have been overcharged and plan to review my monthly credit card statements (3 separate statements) to see if refunds are in order.

William LThis Uhaul location is a little further from my house than others but it always has what I need and they are quick and courteous. They make everything easy and understandable even at 7am on a weekend when no one wants to be up.

COURTNEY S | Overall ExperienceI had no problem moving my items into the storage unit. Everything went smoothly. The process when choosing a storage unit location was an issue. The original location that I had chosen was out of units (Alpa Omega III), but I was never notified. In addition to this, the individual running the location stated that they do not offer the first month’s rental for free. So I had to call and change my drop off location to UHaul of Dallas. Again, there were no issues with my move-in at this location. The customer service was excellent! It was just the lack of communication that forced me to choose another location in the first place. Please find a way to list participating vendors ONLY for when you offer specials in the future.
Roxanne T | Online Move InI was treated very poorly by your staff yesterday. You guys have $320 of my money that I desperately needed to pay my child support yesterday. I tried everything to get my money back because my family depended on it. I called corporate and they tried to call your store with no success to help me remedy the situation. I went up to the store and the girls working there told me that I would have to wait until Monday to speak to you, the manager. I explained how desperate the situation is for me and asked them to please get you on the phone to assist in solving this problem. They refused. This was a very big deal for me and still is. I initially called on the 23rd of November and said do not debit my account because I'm moving out on the 24th which is what I did. I thought that I had been removed from your system and was told that I was removed for your system by many people yet you guys drafted my account three times actually for a total of almost $500. One of those charges I was able to get back from my bank but immediately you guys drafted my account again after already taking $159.95 from my account. I am extremely dissatisfied and I'm still missing $320. I want my money back immediately. I can be reached at 678-520-0759 through text or call. This is wrong all the way around and the certified mail attempt were not signed by me ! So some illegal took the mail at my old address ! I want all the certified mail and the people signatures all the letters and phone attempts y’all claims I want all the records

The light skinned young lady had a bad attitude from the time she called me to let me know my truck would not be ready at the time I reserved it for. Any questions I had she answered with a nasty tone and hung up on me. I didn’t get to pick up my truck until 2pm which put my moving schedule behind and didn’t give me much time to load things into my storage that evening before the storage closed. The next day I went to move my heavy appliance and noticed the dolly they gave me did not have straps on it. I drove to the U-Haul and asked for a replacement dolly and if she could extend my time for a little while since for the inconvenience. She agreed as long as I had it back before 5pm. I brought it back by 4:50pm and she left it parked walked to her car with a small child and another worker, took my keys and threw them in the key box as if I returned after hours and didn’t say a word to me and did not check the truck. I am highly disappointed in this transaction. I WAS charged even though I brought it back before 5 and this young lady was be very unprofessional, not helpful, and it seems she must of been hired while the company was in desperate need.

However, the elevator was broken when we were trying to move out, meaning we had to carry a large unit down and out one item at a time. I know it might be expensive or difficult, b it adding an additional elevator or some kind of system that would lower items down would be beneficial as a back up so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. There was another group there working on a handicap accessible unit, and I’m just thankful the person in a wheelchair was not upstairs when the elevator broke because that would have been a very bad situation as there are no backup ways to get down.
