Reserved truck on Friday Feb 14 for pickup Monday 17. on Saturday 16 got an text message the truck was not available. Referred to another location by call center. I called this new location to confirm the truck would be available . When I arrived Monday to pickup there was not a one way truck available, only an in town truck.

Very courteous. But I want to tell you about the phone rental part mostly. Was not satisfied in the set up originally had so called back to rearrange it. Somehow was transferred all over and finally got Noel at the Lafayette La headquarters. Didn’t think my request was that hard to do. All I wanted was a one way with a certain size truck. She made it happen with no problem. I think she’s wonderful and needs a raise!! Again Noel thank you we will definately use uhaul again because of you. The Desormeaux’s.

You do not have to improve a thing. Keep doing what you are doing. First time dealing with U-Haul and it was a great experience. Nice friendly staff over the phone and in person.

This location took forever to get my truck. And the truck was old and a piece of crap. The 26’ truck I used had almost 200 thousand miles on it and the brakes were shot!!!! Also the suspension was terrible. Thing was a rolling death trap.

I reserved my truck with a appliance dolly. I had to go find an appliance dolly at another location. My car was improperly tied down. It shifted on the trailer. The left strap would not stay on. I stopped in bloomington il. I found that the car had not been chained and the straps improperly tied. The question for you is what if the car flew off and killesd someone. There would have been an investigation. My wife said that the man who put the car on said that he hated his job.

Andrew was very sweet and helpful but when I came to get my refund that cashier was horrible. She flat out said if we don't have the cash you have to get a check mailed to you. I stated I paid cash, she said that what you will get because she have to close it out that day. So damn rude!!!

Signage for where to enter for drop off is small and hard to see in the dark

There were several trailers to choose from that looked a lot better. This old unit with a roll-up door, had mud on all 4 tires and several battle scars.....dented metal, dented fender wells, probably the last trip on at least 2 of the tires. I was to have this cream puff for 6 days. Wish I could have had a newer unit. It held up extremely well, so all in all no complaints.

This facility was horrible! The staff was not helpful the first day we visited. The first trailer they tried to give us had a bald tire. The second trailer they gave us had a wheel well that was damaged. They assured us the tire was ok but when we got home we measured it and it was under only 20ib of pressure!! This is unacceptable. They also forgot our moving blankets and we had to come back the next day. We will never be using this facility again!! We are talking to the regional manager because they put us at risk on the road with a faulty trailer. Please do not use this facility.

the van wouldn’t start several of times for me the ramp on the van wouldn’t go back in & roadside assistance never came so much van was only on 1/4 tank when I drove off and they sent me a email talking about it was a 1/2 tank?? so not true

We were provided that the pick up time was moved two hours later 50 minutes after the initial pick up time. Also, not aware of the card needing to be present along with the cardholder. That needs to be mentioned ahead of time.

people and customer service at location were great but overall experience was very poor reservation was not assigned waited over the weekend for someone who could fix issue to come in so would not have to cancel wait for reimbursement then reserve the uhaul again monday came and had to cancel anyway because it could not be fixed, if a family member would not ha e called and set up another reservation would have had to wait for the refund been out days after the move was suppose to happen and would have definitely used another provider as I will for all future moves

Store was dirty inside and outside, I waited over an hour, my reservation was not available and no email was Received. Uhaul has been my go to company in the past but will look at your competitor for my next rentals.

It took 50 minutes to get the truck I registered for online the day before. Only 15 of that was waiting in line. The truck seats were smeared with blood. Fortunately when we brought it back they didn't charge me a cleaning fee since the service guy knew it was from a homeless woman who had "crawled out of it carrying feces in a napkin earlier in the day". No, they didn't clean it before I spent $101 to rent it for 5 hours. No, I'm not kidding. I will never go there again.

The check engine light was on in the truck. It was very beat up. They stated it had a 1/4 tank of gas. It showed 16 miles to empty. When I went back in and let them know, the answer was just take a picture.

Customer service could have been better, the workers could have communicated better instead of me having to go find where my truck was with one of the workers just sitting in the truck, and wait time shouldn’t count against my rental time since I couldn’t check in online and I actually had to speak with a rep.

We were not informed that the truck needed to be cleaned out proper to the return as no one went over the process. As a result we ended up getting charged an additional $25 for cleaning that could’ve been avoided.

I was told my card would not be charged until my return with the truck. I had two charges one of 83.00 and what was supposed to be the actual charge of 59.00. I was to get a truck that was reserved but at that location there wasn't a truck went back where I started and I was charged more than expected. And they wouldn't refund my card said it was with my bank. Wasn't a good experience at all it took way longer than it should have.

Improve online check-in process which I tried using due to the line at the 3885 Milam location. My issue was the mileage and fuel level for my vehicle were incorrect fuel level showed 1/2 full when actual was 3/4 and mileage showed 47,909 when actual was 48,025, was able to change fuel level however did not allow change to mileage, my confusion was the prompt to take a photo of the odometer and fuel level which would verify the actuals which I did however the photo did not clearly show the mileage, issue is the photo is uploaded to your site, however I cannot verify on my side, that is with all the photos taken on your site (license, etc.), once uploaded they can not be viewed from my phone. I estimated 180 miles due to the distance from Beaumont TX to 4701 I-45 North Houston, TX. GPS shows 98 miles from Beaumont to this location. We were charged for 300+ miles due to the odometer error. Mileage used should not have been over 250 miles max.

This location insisted on calling my wife at 7AM on a Saturday to verify an additional phone number. She was up late working and looking forward to sleeping in. In addition to that they were slow and it took too long to pick up and also drop off. I have never had another uhaul place call a second phone number. I will simply go somewhere else in the future.

The only problem I had was the door was difficult to lock because the hinges weren't quite straight, which made the holes in the door crooked where the lock was put on. Staff and facility was great!
