The driver who delivered and picked up the UBoxes was excellent. She was courteous, efficient, and dealt very professionally with a neighbor who was less than pleased with having the containers placed in front of my unit.

Terrible experience with Uhaul! Received a call in the afternoon a few days before my Uboxes were supposed to be delivered asking if they could be delivered that afternoon. I explained that I couldn’t leave work with no notice, and I couldn’t have them sitting at my apartments that long. I had scheduled for them to be delivered on a specific day, and had hired moving help for them as well. The scheduler explained that their CDL driver wasn’t available on weekends, so the boxes would have to be delivered on an ez-load trailer. Again, this was sprung on me just a few days ahead of the scheduled delivery. I reluctantly agreed, because I had movers to help. On delivery day I became concerned when I hadn’t heard anything by two hours from they end of my delivery window. So I called Uhaul and was assured that the driver would be there. I called again at the end of my window and was told that the driver might be behind schedule. An hour later I still hadn’t heard anything, and my calls kept disconnecting during the automated message. After about a dozen attempts, I was able to reach a customer service person. However, she was not at the location I needed and was also unable to reach the location as their lines were forwarding to her. She contacted a supervisor who told her they would get back to me on Monday. She says that was all she could do on her end, as she wasn’t at the local office. She suggested that I just keep calling the logan number until I got through to the them. After 20, 30 (I lost track of how many attempts) calls with each one ringing back to her, she asked me to hold and contacted her own supervisor. She then assured me that her supervisor would call me back. A short time later the supervisor called, and initially she said age couldn’t do any more to help me and that I’d have to wait until Monday. However once she looked in to the situation further, she realized that I was waiting on empty boxes to load and not full boxes to be delivered. She then promised to have them delivered first thing the next morning even if she had to deliver them herself. In the morning, I received a call stating that the driver was en route to my location, and that I’d get a call when they arrived. I let them know I had space blocked off for them to be placed. Ten minutes later I got a call from the driver informing me that the boxes had been delivered. I asked them where and was told they were in the parking lot. When I looked outside I found the trailer was left in the wrong area with the ramp to one of the boxes being completely inaccessible by a hand truck-it was backed up to a curb where there is no sidewalk, it’s just mud. In order to use the ramp, I would have had to pull a hand truck up a curb into mud and then back down over the curb onto an upward slopping ramp. Fast forward to pick up day. I received a call from uhaul asking if the boxes were ready to be picked up, to which I answered that they were. I was preparing to leave to drive across country and expected the boxes to be picked up as had been confirmed. However five days later, I received a call from the apartment management asking why the boxes were still there. I then canned Uhaul and was told that no one was able to reach me on pickup day, so they were waiting to hear from me. I explained that I had spoken to them and confirmed pickup on that day. So, they got the boxes scheduled to be picked up within 24 hours. I have now gotten my belongings out of the boxes on the other end of my journey. But to say this experience did not meet expectations would be an understatement. I’m have a disability that prevents me from lifting more than ally 30lbs, which is why I hired moving help for the day the boxes were supposed to be delivered. This was the weekend before Thanksgiving. My movers had spent the day helping with packing and were ready to load the boxes that afternoon/evening. So when the boxes were delayed a day, I didn’t have help scheduled to load them. The guys did what they could to accommodate the delay by coming back for an hour in the morning to load the bulkiest items, but couldn’t stay to finish, and I couldn’t find anyone else at the last minute. So, I was stuck doing it myself. I’ve been promised several times that a manager would be reaching out to me about all of the problems I experienced with this move. No one had contacted me though. I haven’t gone through all of my stuff yet to see what all was damaged by my haphazard loading job, I’ve only seen some scratched furniture. In addition to paying movers for a job they weren’t able to finish (full pay because it wasn’t their fault), I had to pay an extra week of rent because the boxes were on site that long. Add to that, the pain I’ve been in from lifting much more than I should have, and I can’t recommend against Ubox strongly enough.

Crystal in Savannah and Madison in Moorhead were both fantastic employees who communicated clearly and promptly. The service was smooth and flawless. Our stuff arrived on time and in great condition. I will use this service again and recommend it to anyone moving.

Was disappointed over being charged a whole month of storage. Box came a week early which was good. 3 days after arrival I had picked up the contents. Just not happy being charged for a month when it was early and only 3 days.

I was disappointed trying to return the U-Box. Was told that I could not return it to any U-Haul location. However, I stopped at 3 different locations and was told they wouldn’t accept the return .

Having more places (heights, depths) in the box to attach straps would be very helpful. Having said that, we were able to secure everything well enough that nothing broke during the move. Having all of the costs stated up front would be nice. When we were online, arranging for the box, we felt as though we kept getting hit with additional charges. This made us feel a little suckered. However, at that point, the U-Haul box was our only option, so we went along with it. The St. Louis office was particularly nice and helpful.

Not responsible enough do closed contract and refund back over two weeks. You said 3 to 5 days business. Not happy about this. I never get refund back. Not never go back rent it

Sipping and delivery of u-box was excellent. Scheduling delivery to home address although changed was handled well. Pick up was changed from Wednesday to Thursday then again to Friday. Service people on phone and delivery of u-Box did well.

This is by far the worst service that I have ever gotten with uhaul. Last time I rented anything from uhaul was in 1997. That was horrible too. It's 2023 and not one thing with the process has changed. I am still standing up with my mouth wide opened. All they did was hire more people that have deplorable customer service skills. I couldn't believe what I had to go through with this big move. Never again

Not only was were my u boxes not available on time they botched the dates, the service I ordered and took up a lot of my (and others helping me) time. I was on hold on and off for 7 hours one day and 6.the next getting it figured out. I was hung up on shuffled to the wrong people and when a return call from management was promised, it did not happen. When I called back 5 days later it was still unresolved and I was told someone would call me in 48 to 72 hours. Not a good experience. Cost me money,time, stress and worry. I wonder when they will face the music and call me. PS. I did not get vulgar with them at all.

We emptied the U-box at the warehouse. It was located in back and had to drive through the grass to get to it because moving trucks were blocking the gravel path. There was a lot of debris around so we were unsure if we would get a flat. It needs to be cleaned up around the grounds of the warehouse.

Once we were settled, I called to have our U-boxes delivered to Beaufort, South Carolina, I was told that u-boxes aren’t deliverable to Beaufort. Three weeks after we had to make other arrangements to get our U boxes sent to our home, we saw a uhaul flat bed truck delivering Uboxes to a house in Beaufort. Uhaul will deliver UBoxes to Hilton Head, Hardeville and Yemmesse but not Beaufort. If I knew that UBoxes couldn’t be delivered to Beaufort, when I first reserved them, we would have never moved our belongings with the uhaul UBoxes.

Delivery of my ubox from Seattle was totally unorganized. I had arranged movers through Moving Help (your website) to help me unload, but Savannah ubox couldn't give me any real estimate for when they'd arrive that day so ultimately I had movers just waiting around. When they did get around to delivering my UBox, I received a series of calls about where to place box and my payment info even though I had already offered all that info. It was incredibly annoying! UBox/UHaul in Seattle was absolutely AWFULL. They gave me no head's up about when they were delivering box and then said I missed my shipment window because I didn't respond to their call, even though they only gave me 30 min to call them back!!

We were extremely happy with the service from our Pleasanton/Livermore, CA U-Haul location. Not only were they very good with communication but all staff were very friendly and helpful. The person that dropped off and picked up our U-boxes in Livermore, CA was extremely friendly, couldn't say enough good things about her. Fast forward to our interaction with the driver from Savannah, GA, she was rude and not friendly at all. We almost confronted her asking if she was having a bad day. Both drop off and pick up days she was not friendly at all. The only problem we had was the U-Boxes did not come with 24 furniture pads each. Two or the five U-Boxes had 24, the other 3 U-Boxes only had 10-12 each. We didn't actually need more but just wanted to state the boxes did not come with the quoted amount of furniture pads. Aside from the Savannah, GA driver, all other experiences with U-Box have been great. Thank you.

This was without a doubt the biggest failure of logistical coordination and follow up from customer service. My family and I conducted a move this month using two U-Haul U-Boxes. I was notified on August 1st that my two boxes had both arrived in Savannah. I called to have my two boxes delivered and was told delivery would happen on Friday, August 4th. I scheduled movers through a third party to come on Saturday August 5th to unload, but on the morning of August 4th, I was told that only one box was coming, and the other box could not be located. I called the traffic office and they told me they would look into it and call me back within the hour. Four hours later I had not heard back, and so I called and they informed me that they would get me the box on Sunday. I told them this was a huge inconvenience. I had to reschedule the movers, and had them schedule to come Sunday. On Sunday I got a call that my first box was going to be picked up (I ended up having to unload the box myself). I asked if the second box was going to be dropped off as well. The driver informed me that they could not find the box and that they would have to reschedule. I called the traffic office again, and they informed me that the box was showing as present in both Alaska (origin city) and Savannah (final destination) in the system, and they could not verify the location. I asked them to keep me informed. The person at the traffic office told me that the last time this situation occurred where a box was showing up in two places, the box was finally found, but it was delivered empty! This caused me no small amount of stress as the second box contained some of the most essential items needed for my household, but also to conduct work for my wife and me. Two days I waited, before finally calling back. Finally I got the military assist team to call, and they informed me that the box had been found, but they were working to fix the system and would call me once it had been fixed to schedule a rush delivery at a time that worked for my work schedule. On Tuesday August 8th, I got a notification that my order had been scheduled. I was not called to confirm dates and availability. It wasn't until the next day that someone called an explained. I paid way too much to have this level of logistical failure happen, and to spend almost a week in limbo not knowing if I had lost half of my earthly possessions. I was not offered a refund, a discount or even an apology.

A more specific delivery time for the U-Boxes would be helpful, even if before noon or after noon rather than 9-4. This would help in scheduling additional help to unpack the units. Overall I was pleased with the service and would use again if needed.

My account is now missing. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences, This was all of my late husbands belongings. Logged in to pay my bill EARLY! And my account is now gone, my things unaccounted for. Calling a Georgia lawyer, I’m only admitted in Massachusetts. Our whole life destroyed.

The transport was seamless. There are some issues with your dispatching location and the location of the Ubox. I had things arranged by phone and then they were not supported by the location. I also received emails that did not pertain to my account. All in all things worked out and everything arrived safely.

My box should have been delivered on April 1st and they brought the wrong box and return on the 4th and I was scheduled to leave the house and area on the 5th. They were supposed to pick up the box on the 5th and did not I was told by the office that whoever came to pick it up said I was not ready. I left Bluffton at 9am so that was a lie the box was ready on the 4th. It was picked up on the 6th which delayed me getting the box on the 13th. I received it on the 16th. Everything on the receiving end was great. I was told to request $50.00 per day being that the box was not delivered on the 13th.

My furniture arrived early in Texas. However, no one alerted me that it was here so I slip on an air mattress for seven days. That was the only problem with the service. Everyone was great if they could’ve notify me at my arrival was earlier I could’ve picked it up or made arrangements center.

We made arrangements to drop off and pick-up another U-Box that was not delivered to our home in Beaufort SC due to the shortage of commercial drivers. The store was very busy, and the staff was doing their best to support the customers. The staff member directed us to talk with Vern for assistance with the U-Box. Vern met us at the warehouse. He was knowledgeable, helpful and took care of exchanging the U-Box in a timely manner. U-haul Savannah needs many more employees like Vern.

The self delivery trailer for the U-box had some slight issues. Nothing I couldn't work around, but other customers may have not been so fortunate. A better pre-inspection of the trailer would help in the future.

I needed 6 U-boxes moved from storage to my new residence. I was flexible but needed to schedule movers around the delivery. FIRST DELIVERY ATTEMPT: I called the week ending Friday 01/06 to schedule; and, was told Thursday 01/12 would be a good day ( wanted them BEFORE 01/13). Then, the scheduler asked me to hold; after an extended hold, she came back and said that Wednesday, 01/12 would be better as I had 6 U-Boxes and the big truck was out of service. They would need to make multiple trips with small vehicles trailering the U-Boxes. I said that was OK with me as long as the U-Boxes were all other BEFORE 01/13. Being familiar with trailering U-Boxes, I reminded her that the U-Boxes must be removed from the trailers and the trailers must be removed from the site as the location did not have adequate space for the trailers. She said OK and we completed the call (I thought.) Monday, when I realized I had not been getting abundant but, at best, misleading and, at worst, often wrong backward or too late messages (another area that needs MUCHO improvement) from the U-Haul system, I called to check on my order, only to find there was NO ORDER. It seems that the scheduler "misunderstood" my saying "... U-Boxes must be removed from the trailers and the trailers must be removed from the site as the location ..." to cancel the order or, so I was told, the call notes say. SECOND DELIVERY ATTEMPT: So, Wednesday, 01/11, is, now, full; but, Friday, 01/13, is open and the big truck should be fixed by then. So, I take that offer and scheduled it for Friday, 01/13; coordinating with my movers for Sunday, 01/15, which they had open. TXT after TXT told me that my delivery would be here between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM; when it wasn't here by 3:00 PM, I started making calls. "Oh, not there yet?!? I check with my driver and get back to you." but, nobody got back to me until the driver calls me at around 5:30 PM to tell me he is broken down with a U-Box, for me, on a trail and he was supposed to bring more; but, he was afraid that wasn't going to happen, either. I called the office back. ONE BOX! ON A TRAILER! I'M FINDING OUT AT 5:30 PM WHEN HE HAS BEEN BROKEN DOWN FOR HOURS! WHERE IS THE BIG TRUCK THAT WAS PROMISED! Well, there was this other lady that has been waiting for the big truck. I'VE BEEN WAITING, TOO; SINCE JANUARY 11TH!!! HOW LONG HAS SHE BEEN WAITING? WHY HAVEN'T YOU DELIVERED HER U-BOXES BY TRAILER ALL THIS TIME? Frank at the U-Haul office, I'm sorry; but, there is nothing we can do now, and the best we can do is deliver the U-Boxes on Tuesday, 01/17, with a big truck that does not carry all of them but does have the forklift. We'll bring the others on a trailer and put them all on the ground. ME: Frank, I believe you want to get it done; but, I need it done and I'm losing faith. THIRD DELIVERY ATTEMPT: Working directly with the local office person, Frank, he wants to know will Tuesday, 01/17, work for me. I've got to check with the movers. Luckily, they get back to me quickly and have Thursday, 01/18 available. Frank promises he will have all 6 U-boxes out to me and on the ground by EOD Thursday. I am appeased for the moment. early on the morning of Monday, 01/16, I get a call that begins "You're getting U-Boxes delivered on a trailer ..." and I (VERY RUDELY) EXPLODE, set off by the word "trailer". the female caller, who has not identified herself; but I believe is the store manager, keeps trying to tell me more but all I get out of the conversation is "trailer" and that just stokes the fire. Finally, I hear a "click"; she hung up on me and I deserved it. I waited 20 minutes called back to apologize, and asked for the whole store. She asked that I call back again in 20 to 30 minutes and talk to Frank. When I did this, Frank said he was having everything sent out on Monday instead of Tuesday to help ensure everything was here in time, most of the U-Boxes would be on the big truck with the extras being trailered, and forklift would put them all on the ground as diagramed. Everything arrived MUCH later than scheduled; but, everything need up working out on the third try. PICK-UP SCHEDULING: Pickup scheduling I left totally to U-Hall. They originally asked if they could be removed on Thursday, 01/19; I said "YES" EVERY TIME I was asked, TXT'd, and emailed. The Thursday pickup was canceled because "I never responded." (THIS IS HOW BAD YOUR SYSTEM WORKS.) When the system rescheduled me for pickup on Friday, 01/20, I responded to everything, HUMAN or otherwise, I also called Traffic. numerous times, to let them know 2 things, first, my neighbor was moving in on 01/21 - 01/23 and needed the space the U-Boxes occupied, and, second, I had already exceeded my allowed time for having the units in place and was about to be fined; my lawyer would be submitting those fines to U-Haul for payment. I called every hour, making a pain in the a$$ of myself until the trucks arrived. As it was, they arrived so lat e. that the scheduling system had already, automatically, rescheduled the pickup for 01/21. I could continue with many other things that are an issue; but, from talking to so many of your warm and wonderful employees, these things have been an issue for so long that you must be turning a blind eye to them. I have been hearing this same story since I started my journey with and through U-Haul almost a year ago, now when I took delivery of my first U-Boxes at my old home in Pennsylvania. Basically, the story has been the same; your people have been wonderful (if they are not so tired or burned out that they no longer care); but, your computer system is so bad, customer side, store side, customer support side and, back-office support side, that everyone could work happier, smarter, maybe faster, with pencil, paper, and an old FAX machine. They are calling in favors from a guy who knows a guy who works in this department who knows how to tweak this so that a guy in this other department can fix this and, if do that it will correct this issue on your account which should never have happened to begin with; "wait a minute, I've got his number here somewhere.."

Your employees and communication among them need serious improvement. This comment applies exclusively sky to Savannah and SE not the Washington stateoperation. They were good. Called one location, on hold for 5 minutes then transferred to another location who said I needed to talk with location i had called originally. Service rep told me you would not deliver to my town when I had been clear from getgo where box was headed. Next person I talked to said - sure they deliver there. Send 1, exactly 1, email requiring a response - not multiple emails threatening delivery cancellation if not answered same day. I could go on and on but I really don't think uhaul cares. uhaul container in terrible condition- impossible to secure top and bottom clasps. Door was racked and hard to operate. I would never recommend uhaul after this poor service level.

Only issue, U-Haul had me take pictures of where to put containers, apparently it didn't matter, they were dropped in the middle of my driveway. Other than that everything went very well.

This was my first time renting a U-Haul U-Box and I’d do it again if need be! There was plenty of room, using the U-Haul site was user friendly, dropping off and picking up the container was made easier by uploading a photo of the exact location for placement.

Next time a customer insists to speak to a manager, call your manager!! There should be a manager available for the weekend so that issues can be appropriately resolved so customers aren't waiting in limbo. And when U-Haul messes up, like not documenting changes, or having drivers that are customer facing not wanting to talk to the customer - they should seriously be reprimanded and not repeatedly sent out in the field after multiple complaints of rude behavior. Don't blame the customer for your poor management, we're paying you for the service not the other way around. At every turn, this office clearly did not want to do anything to resolve this issue, and in the end escalated a situation that could have been resolved with a little consideration that customer service is part of the job. Horribly rude people at this location.

The dilevery driver for my uhaul pods did a poor job dropping off my pods here in Savannah. They were careless and had no respect for my property. 1st he drove his forklift into my brand new lawn right over our irrigation system and proceeded to tear up our lawn for 30 minutes intill he was pulled out. After getting unstuck he then would set the pod down and push the pods with his forklift scratching our brand new driveway. After this nightmare they loaded up never apologized and left there mess all over our driveway and side lawn. I proceeded to call the company and tell them what had happened, they said they had no responsibility and that I needed to call corporate. They lack of consideration, respect, and responsibility with this local Uhaul is atrocious. Needless to say if you hire them to deliver your pods, good luck!

The UBox was not properly delivered and the instability of the method used disturbed the load in a way that did not happen from my home to Horsham, PA to Savannah, GA. I know this because we had the box pulled and we inspected it. The damage shattered the concrete weight in the base of a floor lamp and scrambled a tightly packed load all of which looked fine when inspected. Also, your software sucks both at the customer Interface and, apparently, from the comments of EVERY EMPLOYEE I encountered, all levels of internal user interfaces. Your people are using a network of personal contacts within your employer base to work around your system and get things down. Sometimes,they need to conference in multiple people and still can't sér information they need.

When I was notified my box had arrived I called to schedule a delivery. After speaking with 4 different representatives I found out it could not be delivered. It was extremely stressful
