Fast and friendly. Very helpful and not only was the equipment that I rented in great shape but it appeared that all of their equipment was clean from what I saw on the lot and they had plenty of options available to rent. I never want to move again but I will use this location for any rental needs.

First of all when I booked I booked at Lake Hopatcong when I called, missing the car because the heat index was so high I wasn't sure about renting it the gentleman was very rude telling me that I had the wrong location that I need to get up to the one in Stanhope actually that's where it was originally supposed to be not all the way up by Sparta which is further away anyway he says I have a reservation and I have to pick it up and I have a half an hour to get there so rude very abrupt didn't wanna argue because I just literally was heat exhausted and I get there and the charge that I was told was not charged and it was charged to my credit card I wasn't told about the extra fees I tried to return the vehicle I didn't even use it it cost me $20 in gas to go to my house and back now I know gas is expensive but I didn't go anywhere to do anything and it was $20 I don't think the tank was fully full iPhone filled it up and I get a bill that does not reflect what I was told extra surcharges which I was not told too many variables I don't like and I don't like hidden agendas and people and the guy was just very abrupt with me and I wasn't about to start because I wasn't in the mood to have a fight with somebody halibut in a better frame of mind I probably would've what I recommend them again no I know I do have to use him again but I'm not looking forward to it and I'm going to go with a different area because I don't like the fact that this gentleman was so rude to me for no fucking reason excuse my French but it was very very uncomfortable and he should not be in any customer service whatsoever needless to say the vehicle sat use it but it back by the cars in the ambulance so I know there's no dents or nothing on it not that I was charged but I'm just saying I just left a bad taste in my mouth I'm telling you

The interior of the van was not cleaned. There was coffee on the inside of the door. Also, I had a reservation at a location closer to my home. Enroute to picking it up I was sent a text message that my reservation had been changed to a location much further away adding mileage to my car and the van of which I was charged.

I had so many issues, between being on hold for hours even when selecting a return call, the finally getting thru to be told the could help me, transferring only to be placed on hold and then being disconnected AGAIN. Charged for u-box before delivery, delivery delayed for 3 days the morning it was supposed to be delivered, had help here only to be postponed and have no help the day of delivery to unload. Will never recommend U-Haul to anyone.

The location was fine and the workers were polite and efficient. However, U-Haul as a whole was very disappointing. I scheduled a 17' truck online a week before my move. I was called immediately and told that they could only give me a 15;' truck which was ok since that truck was just as tall and wide and had the mom's attic. Then an hour before pickup I was called and told that all they could give me was a 10' truck which was MUCH smaller and narrower plus didn't have the mom's attic space. This caused me to have to make 3 trips, which tripled my mileage costs, because tall furniture had to lie down taking up a lot more space than I planned for. All in all U-haul messed up my move and I will do everything I can to discourage family and friends from using them in the future. At the time of the change in my reservation there were still 17' trucks listed on the U-Haul website which is very misleading.

My location for pick up was changed three times and was eventually downgraded from a 15' foot truck to a 10' truck. I didn't expect this when I reserved my truck 3 weeks in advance. I was also charged an extra $13 for gas when I filled the tank at the end of the day to the amount I took it out at. Could have been a better expensive overall.

You should have the trucks rented/returned at a full tank instead of at a quarter tank. It feels like you're trying to get people to give you gas â€" it's really difficult to return a truck at a level as low as a quarter tank because you can't run it below zero. Your customers need to put gas in right away and they don't know yet how much they will drive or what their mileage will be, so they basically need to choose between te possibility of overfilling (and giving you gas) or stopping to add fuel more times than they need to, which is a hassle. Having a $30 surcharge for returning it at anything below at a quarter of a tank when I got the truck at a quarter of a tank seemed especially upsetting â€" so if I don't return it EXACTLY at the same level, I either pay for the extra gas that I'm donating to you, or I pay $30 plus $6.80/gal penalty. Either way, I pay extra. Harsh. If it's rented and returned at a full tank, all I need to worry about is filling it up just before I return it. No fuss, no muss. With that policy, I'm not upset about a $30 surcharge because it's a simple easy expectation.

I was notified 2 hours before my move that my truck was not available. Which meant I had fo drive an hour away to pick another truck, then and hour back to load it. It ruined the entire process for me. Also the rep that dealt with my issue was extremely condescending and unprofessional. I also feel I was over charged and should have received a substantial discount.

Reserved my U-Haul at least a week beforehand. Got notice the day before pickup that my reservation was switched to a different location that was "24/7" and was asked to call a number and confirm. Called the number immediately after and did not get an answer. Never got a call back. Arrived at new location and was unable to access reservation because I got notification then that was no longer 24/7. Finally was able to access my reservation (it was 24/7 even though I was notified that it was not) and there were two sets of keys in the lock box. Snow/ice was also not removed from lot and it was extremely difficult and dangerous to walk/drive.

Staff was so awesome! My mom was worried about me moving with the snowstorm so she called and they arranged for me to pick it up early. When I returned to drop it off the guy came over and offered to check it in for me which was so helpful!
