The return process was a nightmare! The person workin the counter refused to assist my parents in the return of the truck. I had a great experience during pick up but that went down hill real quick upon return

We were notified the day prior to our reservation that the pick up location was changed to another town. We also had reserved 3 dozen furniture pads, which were not available at the time of pick up. We were informed that we could try to go to the original location of the pick up for the pads. We did this and there were still no furniture blankets available even tho we had reserved them. There was no apology or attempt to provide ups with any assistance in this matter. Our furniture was not protected as it should have been during transport. Very bad experience.

Our drop off location was Carrier Circle, 6341 Thompson Rd Syracuse, NY 13206. I am confused as to how this entire process was mixed up so much for something that should have been simple and easy. Very disappointed.

Horrible customer service. Really bad attitude from the employe , careless. Truck was not checked before renting and air conditioning did not work . I called to reported, but decided to keep it anyways. Went back 40 min before closing time to rent a second truck because we needed more space, and we were told no more trucks were available even though the parking was full of trucks .

When returning the truck there was no one on the property I was yelling searching for somebody inside the store it was completely vacant my friend went looking through the parking lot finally saw worker and was completely rude

I was charged an extra 40. I called and they were unaware of the additional charge. Aside from filing the gas to 7/8 I was also charged for that. Next time I’ll use a different service

I certainly can say one of the worse customer service ever. I made a reservation for today. I was told I can pick up the auto transport around 6:30am but the store opens at 7am. this staff from this store are far from worse educated people. this after I and my dad drop off the auto transport exactly were it was and this guy Jaleel comes give us an nasty attitute asked us rudely not to leave the auto transport there to park it in the back and that he's going to charge us for leaving the transport where we found it, on top of that this kid gets super aggresive and started cursing because we asked for a receipt and he said he was going to finished cleaning a truck that he was cleaning and telling us that once he finish he'll attend us. He also was using body language meaning he was going to do something and talking about drugs. what kind of staff is that u haul is hiring, I wouldn't recommend this place to no one.

I reserved a moving truck 15 foot, 8 days in advance and 1800 representative did not advise I had to pick up at a certain time. I was advised also could rent for the whole day. When I got to the location, they said there was no truck available for me even though I had made reservation 8 days in advance. They said I had the truck only from 10 am until 4 pm and that bc it was past 10 am so I had no truck. I had already scheduled my movers at 1pm and I was infuriated. I was lucky that someone came in to return a mini one but instead of 1 trip had to take 4 trips back and forth to get all the stuff.... Thus I had to pay 4x more gas fees and this location did not try to accommodate me.

In this location they have poor customer service. My truck was rented for a 24 hr period and they called me insisting that I was suppose to return it in the same day. I had to take time out of my busy moving day to go in to this location and show the employee the emails that were sent to me stating that I still have time with my rental, to which he claimed that “it doesn’t matter what it says there, it matter what it says on my screen”. Who says that to a customer? Obviously the emails that where sent to me by Uhual matters, b/c they clearly say the time/date for when my rental is due, then I asked to speak to his manager and he refused. This location need to update there system and employees.

you rent a trailer that is 6' by 12' but the gate is 4'9" Completely useless I trailed this 300+ miles and could not tow my utv. I called customer service 2xs for a partial credit no return call. Called for the GM at the Passiac store, never returned my call. Will never use you again will tell everyone I know to avoid at all costs.

Unfurtuntlly it was my first time I rent a car from Uhaul. the employee was working there very rude when I tried to understand the process and to know how much was my total.

equipment not in good condition visibly and while driving realized un aligned axles emailed complaint. original check in took very long computers were the blame - the link sent was invalid called customer service the next day they too had issues. wroe email no response. even did the pre checkin - still a problem. then the computers thought the 5th wheel dually was beg pulled by the dodge suv wrong and the checkin person changed it to make the dodge a honda to get the computer to accept it - imagine if I did not make the order 6 weeks ago! the 2 weeks before up until 24 hours in advance people said we plan to get a trailer and we hope - not a very calming situation. it is a better place than jersey city but thank god I moved out of NJ!

I immediately contacted the office when I got in the truck to report that the fuel was incorrect. I spoke with someone at the office and they told me just to take a photo of the dashboard which would indicate the mileage and the fuel capacity. I did this and I still was charged to refuel the truck to it’s full capacity. I DID not return the truck to the level I should have but this was more than double what I should have paid. Also, I did not return the truck last night because I wanted to speak to someone because I had all of these issues. I rented the truck around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday August 6th and my return receipt says 11:15 a.m. Wednesday August 7th and I was charged for 2 days and I did not have the truck for one full day. I have called the manager and he has not responded as yet. If I don’t get a call from him I am going to pursue the matter further

Tell the customers that they need to put gas back in the van before returning. I thought that was what the mileage charge was for. The van had barely 3/4 of a tank when I got it so clearly someone didn't fill it back up before me which is why I didn't think I needed to put gas in. The owner Ray was nice but spent most of the time texting someone.

This location was extremely busy, yet the person handling it was very helpful and efficient. The truck was very clean and in good shape. Turn in using your website was very easy.

Pictures did not show actual damage already present on truck. As well as the gas reading was off by a quater tank, the location forces us to haul around a dollie, and furniture wrap taking up space we paid for in the truck and refused to remove it when asked forcing me to take two trips instead of one. I reserved a 17 foot truck and was giving a 15 foot truck. Horrible location will not be returning .

We got in the store around 3:30pm, no employees were there. The store by itself, no bell to ring, nothing, nobody. Two ladies there before me, we all just waiting for someone, shouting, hello hello. For around 10 minutes, we could have stolen half the boxes and stuff you are selling. Then Tyrik shows up with a supreme Being attitude, doesn't acknowledge us, doesn't make eye contact, stare straight at the computer, ask what can I do for you? I had to ask who are you talking to? Cause by now there's 4 of us. Nasty I'm never coming back, you need to go back to the drawing board??

The customer service on the phone was terrible and rude. I also called to make a reservation for one place and it was scheduled for another. Each time I tried to confirm I was being told different things which was very confusing. Then the customer service people were getting upset with me due to their error. Also when going to pick up the truck the one woman was to busy yelling at the other to check people in in a timely manner
