I requested a furniture dolly for which I paid, and it was not there. I tried contacting U-haul many times on chat, while dealing with the move and never got an answer, and was still billed for all the equipment I did NOT receive. So, I had to move a bunch of stuff without the proper equipment and was billed as if the equipment had been there. Just great.

This was a sketchy location and I did not feel safe there. I did the online return and it told me to drop the keys in the dropbox but there was not one. It took me 45 minutes to get a code for the LOCKED key box.

Best thing to do is have the truck ready with the reserved equipment in it. The furniture dolly nor the blankets were in the truck. Then the mileage and gas lever weren't correct on the contract. The gentleman at the location was very nice and helpful. But it did take time.

Location doesn’t want to deal with uhaul customers push you off to a mobile option. This I wouldn’t recommend since some people aren’t mobile oriented. Luckily I can do most things on my phone.

I received notification the night before pick up of the change in location. My travel was planned specifically for pick up the original location being 5 minutes from my destination. I called the number given to confirm the pick up, the gentleman at the convenience store did not know anything about the location. Only knew to call a number when I arrived. Very confusing and not very professional.

We ordered a 20 ft truck well in advance and confirmed with full payment 2 days in advance after noting that the app had changed the pickup spot by over 20 miles. Then we were told by a UHaul rep to check 24 hours in advance as a specific renter might “extend” their ise of the truck. They didn’t extend, but apparently dropped the vehicle off 45 miles away instead. We were given no prior notice of a problem, neither via the app nor via phone. We had moving helpers arriving in 2 hours for our trip from GA to AZ and the only solition provided was a larger truck at “the same price.” Desparate, we accepted only to fill a truck up 2/3 and pay even more because of lower gas mileage and more difficulty driving a larger rig . The idea behind your app is fine, but it needs to be fed accurate information that can change without notoce from hour to hour.

The woman handing the transaction used profanity and was totally unprofessional. The truck had not been checked in after use for previous user which made her upset. She could hardly work her phone to check me in. I could not get checked in over my phone because I did not get a text. When the text came through we had already been checked in by her after listening to her complain that she did not get paid enough to do this. When we returned the truck still could not complete transaction on phone. Not a pleasant experience. Truck was fine.

The site NEEDS some work! It was NOT very user friendly & adding/changing was NOT easy! The 24/7 Pick-up & drop off was supposed to help streamline the process, but that was NOT the case at all. We tried several times and it was anything but easy access.

Our reservation was moved to this location the night before since the location we originally requested did not have the truck size available. We NEEDED to have the mobile access since we scheduled our move to begin at 7:30 am. This was a VERY important part of our reservation since we were moving our daughter out of a college dorm and due to Covid restrictions we only had a one hour scheduled window and then dorm was closing for the end of semester. When we approved the switch of locations we were told we could still do the 7:30 pick up which would have allowed us to get our truck directly from the hotel and proceed to the dorm for the move. This was not the case and we were notified via email very late the night. This caused a 3 hour delay on our move and drive back to FL since we had to completely rearrange the timing and it added an hour of driving to/from just picking up the truck at the altered location. Originally the new location would have worked, even though it was further away, because it allowed us to go there from our hotel. However, due to the lack of mobile access we could not pick up truck until 10:00 when it opened and that pushed us to add the additional hour. It also created a time problem with moving from the dorm. Overall this problem created by u-haul added over 3 hours to our move and he is arriving after 9:00 pm back to FL instead of around 6:00 pm during daylight. We were VERY disappointed in this and it added a lot of stress and aggravation to the 8 hour drive in the rain.

They said they knew nothing of a drop off being scheduled and their wasn’t anyone to check my rental in as returned. They told me I would have to check it in online. When I did the online check in wasn’t working and wouldn’t allow me to check in. So I spent 20 plus minutes with a helpful operator to check it in. Plus the drop off was 15 minutes from my move in location. While there was a uhaul dealer 5 minutes from my house where I dropped off the truck my wife rented for the move.

The equipment was standard UHaul equipment, however when I called to ask a question he yelled at me because I didn't understand what he was saying. He was rude and made no effort to explain the pick up process and seemed to get even more angry the longer we stayed on the phone.

The gas tank was below empty which caused problems. I ended up putting in 60$ thinking they would be glad gas was in tank, but I only used 25$ so I ate 35$. Communication was not clear about that. Very nice people but poor communication on the gas

I was delayed an hour picking up the truck because only one person at this location knew how to complete the rental and that person was not working the day I picked the truck up. The person who was working said that she was shown how to do the rental but she couldn't remember the password and got locked out of the account for 30 mins. They said there is nothing they could do but wait the 30 mins. I called u-haul customer service and was able to have them get an area manager on the phone with this location and get me on my way. It's ridiculous that I had to do this and the worker would not even after I suggested to her that they do it. When I returned the truck later in the person who was working made it seem like I ruined their day when I said I was returning the truck and was making them do some brief work. Then they argued with me that I didn't return the truck with enough gas even when I showed them the agreement and still didn't. Relieve me that it was accurate. But they eventually relented and let me get on my way. More people at this location need to be trained on how to complete rentals and learn better customer service skills.

its just a gas station where I parked the truck. Nothing inviting about it. Personnel are not uhaul employees just gas station owners and uhaul rentals are not their priority.

arrived at my 10am appointment reservation time which was already too late. The owner was not at the the store and the manager on duty was not trained to do any uhaul transactions. I had to wait for the owner to leave her house and get to the store. She then called me and processed by reservation for her home computer. I wanted 45 minutes before I could leave with the vehicle
