Make sure to be clear about the moving blankets being rentals. I rented my truck Saturday morning and returned it by that night around 630 or 730 p.m. I received a call 8 a.m. Monday that I had to return the blankets, but that they saw I returned the truck on Saturday. Due to the blankets, I was charged for Sunday truck rental. When I rented the truck, the girl did not tell me to make sure the blankets were with it. I feel charging a 2nd day on the truck was excessive. Why not charge extra for the blankets or allow me to purchase them instead? Very dissatisfied with that part of the experience. Severe call had brake issues clearly could hear there was an issue in the tire is a clanked all the way down the road when I return the vehicle one of the U-Haul employees looked at it and said yes there was an issue and then when I talk to the manager he denied it I have video proving that there was an issue with the truck I have contacted corporationDEBRA C.

First off, you changed the location of my pickup from the location I wanted to pick up from, that was closer to my apartment, to a place farther away. Then you didn't have the truck I wanted, only bigger. THEN while driving to my new house, you changed my drop off location to something 45 minutes away from my original drop off location reservation!!!! I then called to get it changed, only to be passed around on the phone to 5 different people before I could actually get my drop off location changed BACK to what I original picked. This was a disaster of epic proportions, I'll never use Uhaul again or recommend it to anyone. This experience was frustratingly awful.JOSHUA B.

I was told that if I didn't replace the gas that I would be charged approximately four dollars a gallon when I returned the vehicle. I received a call the next day after returning it telling me that I would have an additional charge of $30 fee for not replacing the gas in addition to the four dollars a gallon charge for the gas. No one had told me this prior because if I had known that I would have replaced the gas.The employees should be sure and explain this extra charge prior to the rental. 80.25$ cleaning fees were added to the contract for nothing, glass was unintentionally broken in the parking lot and i cleaned all of it.... The O insists to add this huge cleaning fees, he left a voicemail asking to clean the mess which i did but he refused to refund the fees. He was mean and unprofessional.SIMON B.

The equipment was clean, but the transmission seemed to require maintenance. There were times in the mountains of Virginia and West Virginia where I questioned if we would not leave the transmission in the roadway behind us. The transmission did not seem to shift properly and ran the engine to extremely high RPMs.DIANA L.

I forget truck key inside took one whole day to solve issue no extra key to open the truck.Emergency # never got response from them. Even locking the key is my responsibility I believe that u. Haul as a class a business should haves copy in case these type of situation happens again and customer aren't lived stranded.bad for business I did have to incurred in extra expense after paying for a truck insurance.RAMON D.
