Transaction went smoothly
CaRLEEN SThose weekend rates be a budget nightmare. I had to get the truck for over the weekend but only used it on Monday and the price I paid was woo.
KEVIN MCathy at Tristate rentals, where i turned in the truck, charged me for additional miles that i supposedly went over. I let her know that i spoke with the uhaul employee when i picked up the car and told him that 58 miles was what it took to get from the uhaul location to the address i was moving to. It did not include the miles to pick up the furnitur3, not the miles it took to return the truck to tristate. The uhaul employee said he'd adjust the miles. When i turned in the car Cathy charged me for those miles. She was rude, and arrogant, and completely dismissive.
AARON Pthe lady in Nebraska City took forever to give me a price on how much it cost to rent it. The another 45 min to fill out the paperwork.

Denise HThere isn't anything that needs improved. The customer service was perfect, I was busy hooking up the lights and Kathy had the trailer all hooked up and the chains on ready to tow. Great explanation of how the dolly operated and functioned. Very reasonable price as well.

Patsey NU-Boxes - Great Idea, HORRIBLE Execution. 1. Not enough containers. We had a 5 bedroom house and were told 7 containers. I ordered 8. I had to get a 26 foot truck for the rest of my belongings at the last minute. 2. There were WAY too many furniture pads. I had to return them to a store as I didn't have room for them all in my U-boxes. 3. Delivery. My original delivery date was to be 7/10 and I contracted moving help through U-Haul. On 7/7 I received a text asking where the boxes should be placed at my location of origin (not destination). It showed my U-Boxes still in originating location. I was told there had been a "system glitch" and my "new guaranteed delivery date" was 7/19. Told sorry, but nothing could be done. After delivery and move support cancelled, found out U-Boxes did arrive at destination by 7/10. Had to contract new movers separately. U-Haul had my moving help money for several months. In addition, destination location could not deliver all boxes and leave on ground as was done at originating location. In the end Tri State did what they could to help us. Kathy was very helpful. I do not blame them for these issues.
Jennifer TPickup was a breeze. The older gentleman was very nice and even hooked up the trailer for me even though I si I would get it. Drop off was not as pleasant. "The lady there was lacking customer service skills" definitely could have said some things but just smiled and left the trailer.

NGOR KMy original reservation I was told by a customer service representative, it wasn't reserved, I had a confirmation # which she stated wasn't in the system., I had reserved a 20' truck for 10 am. She told me I could use the smaller truck instead in which I still couldn't access online & this was @ 12:15 pm , I then called again & was helped by a different representative, she stated I did indeed have a reservation, so she went through the process of canceling smaller truck & rescheduling access to a 26' truck in which did finally work, but we didn't get it until 1:15 pm. I had people waiting to help me move since 10 am. I asked the representative if I could get some type of discount & she stated she would decrease the amount owed by $50. She was very helpful, I was still charged the full amount of $68 but am hoping to receive the $50 credit for all the hassle & inconvenience to myself & movers helping me.
