Had issues with Uhaul not being available when I reserved it. Was told to go to a different location to pick up a different truck since my original truck had not been returned on time by prior renter. This caused me to be an hour behind schedule, drive to a farther location, and have to pay my movers for an extra hour since i was an hour behind schedule

Not their fault, but the U-Haul truck was a bit dirty on the inside.

My issue was not with the location, but with a main Uhaul office in Danbury CT. I had them inspect my hitch to make sure it was adequate for the Uhaul trailer i would be towing. They said it was fine. I picked up the trailer and drove home with it dragging slightly, but not having towed a trailer before I did not realized this was not ok. I loaded the trailer and the metal part between the trailer and the car was dragging. I ended up dragging the trailer to the nearest Uhaul dealer and was told I had the wrong hitch attachment I would need one with 5 inch rise not a 2inch drop (that had been ok'd at the Uhaul office) so I had to go and purchase another hitch attachment and pay the Uhaul dealer labor costs to replace the part and reinstall the hitch. This was just a frustration but of greater concern is the safety issue. I almost just drove the trailer dragging thinking it had been inspected and that it was just how they work (having never towed a trailer before). In the end it all worked out but was a very stressful and costly time when moving is already very stressful. I held off on writing this review waiting to see how Uhaul resolved the complaint I filed and so far its been 3 weeks and nothing has been done.

Staff was very pleasant! Wasn't able to get dolly I ordered with the truck but was refunded (it was a very busy moving weekend in the area).

The Uhaul was not at the location on my confirmation. When I returned the phone call to confirm pick up, the location had no outgoing voicemail. When they left me a message, they didn’t indicate that they had changed my pick-up location. I went to the location on my confirmation and they had no Uhaul for me and could not find my reservation despite me having the reservation number. They called other locations and found my reservation and gave me the new pick up location. When I arrived, They had none of the supplies that I had ordered. The Uhaul provider told me that my reaervation had no listed return location and gave me a phone number to call to choose a location and said that I could call it in the morning to arrange. The location closest to my location did not open until 10 am, which was after the time I needed to return the Uhaul. When I arrived at the location, they told me that I couldn’t return it there and told me to call Uhaul. After being on hold with Uhaul I. cat and Dc, I was told to take the Uhaul keys to the same location and that the staff would find a place to park it. The staff informed me tht she could not do so because she has no deiver’s license. Despite returning the vehicle with more gas than it had when I picked up, I was charged for addditonal fuel and for an extra day, even though i couldn’t have returned it due to the drop off location being closed. I was also charged for renting equipment that I did not rent. I’m extremely disappointed in this experience.

our reservation was for 7 but the shop opened an hour late so we had to wait an extra hour for our uhaul. Other then that they were very helpful.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and maneuvered the truck out of a difficult parking spot for us and the whole experience was just pleasant and professional!

There were some scratches on the U-Haul when I pick it up but I just noticed that when I had already left the place. Perhaps it would be better if it was required to check the U-Haul with the person of the location before leaving.
