I was unable to ascertain how recently the vehicle had been maintained. I asked locally as well as calling Uhaul and the service history of the vehicle is proprietary board of directors level info or the vehicle has never been serviced, officially! Anyway, the rear tires were ALL worn down to illegal. Most states require a minimum of 2/32's of tread depth I'm pretty sure these tires especially the rear don't make the cut! The brakes all squealing possibly short enough to be noise from the audible wear indicators or squealers indicating brakes need service. The HVAC blower fan has one speed and that's full bore! With the system switched on gale force winds come from the vents regardless of fan speed settings making climate control a challenge!! The truck was great otherwise! Plenty of power, cruise and lights, and the rest of the equipment was in decent shape for what it was. I got the feeling that the check in and out process was a little loose. The woman at the counter said her kids, employees I presumed, did a good job cleaning out the vehicles but that was it, then there was no walk around with rental agent to confirm any damage that may have been caused by previous renter, so I bought all the available insurance! The folks at Titan Services were very helpful and pleasant, Sun valley trucking on the other hand has no business dealing with the public and it's a terrible mistake to have evil people with a true hatred for clients such as nearly everyone at Sun Valley Trucking tied to anything sigh ghe Uhaul logo on it. Call them some afternoon and ask about your rental reservation to get an idea! I've never been asked by someone trying to complete a transaction wigg tv h me,â€â€¦what am I supposed to do about itâ€¦â€ before!!Christian V.

While the specific location we got the uhaul from was great, the customer service from uhaul itself was terrible. We tried the online after-hours pickup. It was a mess and things that could have been well explained beforehand or done in the initial application was done at the time of pickup before they would give the code to get the keys. When 2 of us called the 24/7 customer service line for assistance neither of us actually got to talk to anyone even after waiting 45 min on hold for a rep. I would never recommend uhaul to anyone.Allen R.

I have two complaints about this experience and neither have to do with this location, but with U-Haul in general. First, I had a "tentative reservation" set, with 48 hours to confirm the vehicle reservation. I logged in the next day to confirm - and it had been deleted! This caused me to scramble frantically to get another vehicle of the right size. U-Haul customer support came through for me. Secondly, when I picked up the vehicle, I received a text message to fill out a "state of the vehicle" report - but the link in my text message never worked. I took a chance and proceeded anyway. It all worked out as the only issues were already known by the sight in advance.GLENN K.

Double check your bill prior to leaving. I see they charged me $14.00 safe move when I didn't select it when booking. Double check gas meter before issuing truck to individuals. My gas meter was 1/8 off but was quick adjusted when identified.JARED C.

Service was great other then the lines or something getting mixed because we called 2X's before rental and a female came on both times claiming that there was no car dolly available then not more then 10 minutes later get call back from friend that called and now they had one. They had a lot actually. For a 1 hour and a half drive and worry prior, communication should be checked. It was at least 2 hour delay from when we could have gotten one. Other then that it was great.TRACEE M.
They charged us for a dolly rental and we didn't even ask for it or get one. They caught the error and said it would be zeroed out on the invoice but we were still charged for it. We still are awaiting a call back regarding this issue.TYLER H.

We waited 20 minutes for someone to even show up at the store. They were rude and didn't explain things well as we were charged twice what our quote was. The girl I spoke to on the phone was also not helpful or kind.JOSEPH M.

These trucks need repairs.. The location/parking lot. Good ppl. Not their fault the trucks are not being maintained.. couldn't go over 50 without the struts and steering making it difficult to control between the lines. Very dangerous. Great location and great service from that location.MATTHEW L.

The truck itself was a death trap on wheels. It should have never been released to get out on the highway. Me and my daughter felt very unsafe driving it down the interstate. As far as cleanliness the cab smelt like a giant litter box. Also there was food in the passenger door handle area. Also, I was diverted 30 miles from my original pickup location. You gave me credit for the mileage but I had to pay for the extra gas which should not be mine to pay for especially at $3 a gallon. Not a happy customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THOMAS R.

Was charged $261.72 by this location, despite having never been to Kansas. Actual drop-off location was 830 wadsorth blvd, Lakewood, CO, who didn't check in their equipment properly.brandon L.

My pick up location was scheduled for 10am at Storage Space III llc 2511 E 17th Ave, which was about 3/4 of a mile from the home location. When I arrived at 955am the entrance was locked by 1020am I called UHC of Southern Kansas 913 number and was told they couldn't get ahold of anyone from that location and I could pick up across town at another location. This added over a hour of time the $75 per hour movers charged me for lost time.DOMINIQUE O.

Well, it would be nice to have a rate reduction on this rental. First, a check engine light was on and flashing the entire time the truck was operating. The back door closing latch kept catching and wouldn't close. The gas mileage was very poor and cost half of the rental. This vehicle is not fit to be on the road. I would like some justice on this as I have rented many times from U Haul over the years.DAVID H.

Great customer service. They we'nt out of their way to help us when a different truck rental place rented us a truck online and then decided to close early. The Uhaul team was willing to go above and beyond to help us find a suitable alternative with them. We will always use Titan Home Services for all of our rental needs going forward. I thought the Uhaul truck number was the VIN found on the dashboard so I spent 10 minutes in the cold weather looking for my truck. It wasn't until an employee came out and showed me where the truck number was on the top of the cab that I was able to locate my truck. Perhaps this could be made clearer.Concha D.

The trucks back door seal was going off, the cab was dirty. The link for the inspection when picking it up was expired after 20 mins of picking it up and no one would answer the phone to correct the situation. Only highschooler's was running the place unsupervised.. the gas tank was at a half full when picked up yet we are supposed to brin it at 3/4 of tank. The padlock on uhaul would not work had to use our own padlock. Had a dolly in back which we did not request.Rita D.
Preferred dolly was not there. Had to switch to a larger one that ended up not working well. Person was helpful and accommodating.Matthew K.
