john dThey overcharged us 22 miles on the truck we rented from UHaul...I looked up the addresses and put in Google maps and it showed 157 miles from each location...I added 6 extra miles for driving around town to storage unit and the little bit in the yard at the apartment...(which was more than enough)...for a 163 mile trip...and the company charged us for 185 miles ..I knew when the kids went out and got the mileage 3 times I should of went and looked at it myself....we moved a few miles (8) more this time from another destination in same town to here with her stuff ..it was $135.00...total for a larger truck...and can you really charge tax on mileage I am paying for??...I figured maybe on the rental fee ...but not on the mileage ..so I won't be renting from UHaul anymore...lost a customer Ginger

Alisha JWhen we brought the truck back my daughter told them before she open the back of the truck she still had some trash to take off because it was to dark too make sure it was cleaned corrected. He sat a broom in the truck and started sweeping it out not even giving my daughter a chance to do it herself. He then charged $25.00 for him to sweep it out and he didn’t even sweep the hold thing just spot swept it. He swept less then a minute. Would like a refund on the cleaning. Besides never walked around the truck to document any damage before I took the truck or go over u-hauls policies before I took the truck

Kristin MWhen I first called to the one on 17th I was quoted a lower price and had everything set up for the next day then was told they had to move me to titan since the truck was still out but it would still be the same price. I went to titan and instead of 2 something it was 3 something. Then that lady on 17th told me it was cheaper to bring it back to the same location so I did and then was charged even more. I was not happy at all especially when I’m a single mother of 4 and doing things on my own and it takes 100 to fill the gas tank. It would of been nicer to know the truth about the price for one and that it was cheaper leaving it where I was at but other than that the ppl at titan was very nice and helped me when I had questions and very polite

Nicomedes BThe young man got me out quickly when I came to pick up the truck (great). In hind sight, we should have done a walk around the vehicle together. Inside rear dual was blown, I did not realize until truck was loaded and outside dual was squatting. Truck was very difficult to keep on the road, would wonder from left to right with no movement from me of the steering wheel, suspect alignment or front end wear as the issue. Experience with both uhaul rental team and repair team was good, had 2 tires replaced in Vermillion SD. Shaun did a good job fielding my complaint and supporting his team while understand my complaint with the vehicle. Only reason for my dissatisfaction was the condition of the vehicle.

Brian SProbably not going to happen with inflation an all, but our workers be awesome if you d has cheaper s rate options for in town local usage. That way your local community a can have more of an access to uhaul services without having to worry about having enough money.
