Ashtin HillFirst of all I paid 78 dollars for the rental where I selected 1pm as the return time. I am not an experienced mover and didn’t realize it took longer so I returned the truck by 5pm and you charged me another $35 which I paid on top of the $78, then your collections team sent me a threatening email saying I owed another $68. This is all after your team called me Monday to ask if I returned the vehicle which I returned SATURDAY, the SAME DAY. Why wouldn’t you know that? And why would I owe you so much money for a one day rental 10ft box truck??? And why are you threatening me with collections when you have my card on file and also my phone number to call me and have a conversation like a professional and human being. I don’t appreciate it at all. And I’m not paying you $68 addition dollars. I’ve already paid you over $100 for a one day rental!

Although I am fairly conservative, I found this type of verbal confrontation aggressive and intimidating for a U-Haul representative.

Brien SmithThe location wasn't even open. No one was there. I called a month ahead of time and asked if they would be open and I was told yes. I wasn't notified of there being a change and that they would be closed. I didn't receive the utility and furniture dollies that I reserved and was not notified that I wouldn't be receiving them. It's fine that the keys were left in a locked box for me to pick up. HOWEVER, no one ever contacted me with the code nor did a receive an auto email with the code. So I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with 3 Uhaul call representatives to resolve this. HORRIFIC customer experience.

If you are afraid to be within six feet of another person then do not enter this business. God bless America the land of the »Free » and home of the brave. ». I am personally not afraid of getting Covid-19 since the risk to me is quite low. However, the reason that I wear a mask (which the person behind the desk at this facility was not doing ) and practice social distancing is to help check the spread of this virus and keep it from killing hundreds of thousands of elderly persons and individuals with pre-existing conditions. I therefore resent being called a coward for trying to save other people’s lives.
