I had to wait 2hours before I could get the u haul. The 1st place didn't have a truck. I ask the clerk to ck others pl near and she told me ALL was out and that was a lie I wasn't able to used the truck at night because one of the head lights were out. I called 1 800 # and the phone ringed but no answer. I had a bad inconceivable experienceOLA A.
While the truck itself was fine, the remote pick up and drop off process needs drastic improvement. There should be an option to submit verify the alternative contact and upload pictures of driver's license prior to pick up instead of the day of. Additionally, there was never any indication that he fuel level had to be the same upon return. That detail should be listed up front. There should also be a remote pick up box. The person at the convenient store had not idea what to do or how to give me the key. It took her over 30 mins to figure things out. Needless to say, I will never use U-Haul again nor recommend it.James S.

At Tiger Mart nothing is needed. The manager did have to call the Uhaul Area Mgr, because his Credit card machine was broken, but the guy was there in like 3 mins. However the Area Manager wasn't wearing a mask, but he was pleasant & took care of my booking. I was pleased with the Location & service there. At the Westmoreland & Kiest road location: 1. Retrain the Manager Michael & both of the counter ladies. They all need Customer Service Skills. 2. They need to be able to Multitask. My experience started a week in advance when I booked my rental online. The day before my pick up I was contacted by a Customer Service Agent at the Corporate office, he was Reconfirming my rental. He stated that my Truck would be there at 9am & it was set up for the contactless pickup. Upon arrival I logged in to the site, went to where my truck was & it wasn't there. I checked every truck in the lot & nothing. So I go inside to wait in line behind 6 people, whom at least 4 got trucks. On my turn the rude lady pulled up my order, looked at the board & said "I don't have any trucks". I said I had an online reservation & according to Uhauls site my truck should be here. She got even ruder saying "I don't know, but I don't have any trucks, hold on let me get the Manager". She comes back & said he'll be right out. So I sit down and wait. After 15 mins I called C.S. Corporate office. After about 5mins of being on the phone with C.S the Manager came out from the back office walked behind the counter, saw me, looked out the window & went back to the office. The lady returned to the counter. She says " did he help you?" The C.S. guy asked to speak to her, so I put my phone on speaker. He asked her why my truck wasn't there. She had no answer, she had no key for it & was saying it could be one of the 10 trucks that had been put out for maintenance. But C.S. shut down that lie. By telling her that she showed that the truck was there, rentable & wasn't one of the 8 trucks that had there catalytic converters stolen the night before. They went back and forth, then without asking she pick up my and walked to the back to take it to the Manager Michael. My phone is in a wallet case. Which had my D.L, Cash, SSAN Card & my Credit cards in it. Nothing was taken. I just think that this was extremely disrespectful & rude. With no Covid-19 protocols being used at the location and she just takes my phone without asking me. The only thing they had was masks keeping their necks from catching C-19, it don't work covering your neck. I'll put my Reviews of this location online as a place to avoid. This is the 2nd time I've had this type of experience at this same location in the past 5 years. I'll still use Uhaul, just not at that location. Thankyou for your time & help in this matter. This site was a terrible experience from start to finish. I completed my pick up in the app. I went into the store to show my screen and pick up the keys and was told they couldn't provide me. First, I was told I couldn't get the keys because someone else had a reservation. Then I was told the keys were not on the premises. I arrived at 8:29 for a 8:30 reservation and did not receive keys in hand until after 9:00am. I even called Uhaul for assistance and the site still refused to give me the keys. I honestly felt as if this store felt I was lying about my reservation and perhaps planned to steal this Uhaul?? They were very rude and not willing to listen to myself or the Uhaul representative. I listed references for my rental (as I have in the past) and this location proceeded to text and call them for reasons unknown even though the rental was already approved and I was awaiting the keys. I continued to let the site know all I needed was the keys. To add to my frustration, I rented a dolly with my reservation and while I was waiting I was told that was unavailable. So now, not only do I still not have keys but you do not even have all the items I requested. ALSO, I find it interesting that they supposedly could not provide keys or find my reservation but they knew I requested a dolly. I FINALLY received permission from this store *even though Uhaul already provided) to get the keys at 9:01am. Suddenly the keys that I was told were not at the store appeared from behind the counter and they were rudely thrown on the counter for me to pick up. When I took the truck, the inside cargo was NOT cleaned, there were food remnants, a white substance, and other trash on the floor. At this point I needed to get to my location, as I was already late so I just left. This location was rude and unhelpful and I really believe Uhaul should reconsider using them as a neighborhood pickup station.LaTondra L.

But please make sure you ask the quote because my cost to drive just 30 miles was a little high at least to me it was. So get your quote before you pay just my advice but other than that the people where very nice.Timeka M.
Be there at that location when you say you going to be there instead of leaving going to the bank coming back hour and a half later didn't get the truck until 10 a.m. it was scheduled for 8 bad experience will never use this place againgailer J.

We setup an appointment to rent at the facility at 8:00am and the attendant did not arrive until 8:50am. Although he was very professional and apologetic, it put us out of schedule for a project we needed to complete. This tardiness caused the rest of our scheduled day to be out of order...precious M.

The owner was late 20 minutes and attempted to force me into signing the review for the gas, inspection, and miles without letting me see the condition. I asked him "how could I sign that verifying he has is full in unless you give me the keys?" Once I received the keys I noticed the gas was only 1/4 full. The entire process seems unprofessional and took longer than it should have, it took an hour and I was the only person there.jerome D.
I reserved a 15' truck, utility dolly, furniture dolly and 1 dozen moving blankets at a U-Haul facility 1/2 mile from where I needed to be in Dallas, TX. I received an email confirming my pickup location at a "retailer" miles away. Upon arrival at Tiger Mart, there was no signage indicating it was a U-Haul retailer. The only indication I was at the right location was my reserved truck parked around the side of the building. When inside and asking for the U-Haul rep, I waited for more than 10 minutes for Mohammad Hossain to come out of his office to help. Only to find out, Tiger Mart does not have the blankets and dollies, I have to go to ANOTHER U-Haul facility a couple miles FARTHER away. My fiance' called U-Haul Customer service only to be hung up on. Calling back we got someone more helpful. Then, I was over-charged for the truck by Tiger Mart as he charged me 10% tax instead of 8.25%. When I brought this up he just looked at me and says, "I don't know, that is what machine says". Mr. Hossain could have at least acknowledged me then completed what was so important in his office. He was as helpful as could be having been hung out by U-Haul Corporate. I am retired Army, I live and work in a military community. I will discourage any person from using U-Haul and if I could I would have U-Haul put off limits to military persons and their families.Barry S.
