She was angry that I was there. She was angry that she had to help me. She 'hates uhaul' and she doesn't have any qualms with telling someone off for daring to use uhaul.SARAH T.
There was some trash in the Uhaul on the dashboard, but other than that is was fairly clean. We are a tax-exempt organization and when I first explained that to the person checking me out, she told me there was nothing she could do about it since she wasn't a Uhaul store, but an authorized dealer. Luckily, it was attached to my name from a previous rental, but I did not appreciate her lack of knowledge or willingness to work this issue out. Second, there was no padlock attached to the truck. I've rented many Uhauls in the past and all have come with one to protect your belongings. When I called to ask her if it was supposed to come with one, she flat out said no and did not provide an apology or suggestions. I think the woman I worked with is a very nice person, she just gave me a bit of an attitude with a few of our questions/concerns that was a little unprofessional.JORDYN A.

Last minute accommodations were made easily and quickly for me when I suddenly needed to change my original reservation to one day prior. Both representatives were so kind, patient, and professional. Please consider this practice with all customers whenever possible. It means so much! Even the receiving representative was polite and informed me that a receipt would be emailed to me upon completion of a return inspection. That is the only part of this entire transaction that was an inconvenience. I spent hours not knowing what amount of money would be coming out of my banking account or if that amount would have validity. That portion of this process could improve as it leaves the customer in limbo while already experiencing the financial burdens of transitioning from state to state. With all of that being said, I was extremely grateful for the amount owed upon return! I didn't receive the email until more than twelve hours, so as I stated above, this is one area that could become a learning experience for the organization. Site did not have the extra items we ordered (dolly, blankets, etc.) Did not know what to do about it. Eventually called a nearby facility and sent us there. That facility was so crowded with one slow employee who knew nothing about what we needed and also didn't have the equipment. Awful experience.John M.

I personally turned in the keys to the ladies in the office. They looked up my account on their computer and confirmed my account was clear. When I left, I was under the impression all contractual obligations were fulfilled since I brought the truck back about 6 hours early, hand delivered the keys and confirmed a clear account. I was told everything was good to go. Apparently, the staff did not get around to checking in the truck until a few days later. I was then charged $40 for an additional day and $20 because I did not check the truck in via my phone. I realize now phone check in is required per the very small print of the contract however, I believe the staff should have informed / reminded me of this fact. When I called to inquire about the additional charge, the manager was not helpful and over talked every time I asked a question. She was in NO way wanting to help and was rude. She then called her area manager who gave me a call. He was congenial and helpful and corrected the situation.David E.
Brenda was EXTREMELY rude and there is someone living out of a unit behind the office. To make it worse, whoever was living in the storage unit was also extremely rude and is letting her dog run the property. I will never visit this property ever again!Jeremy T.
The people acted like I was an inconvenience. My reservation was moved there I didn't want to pick up there. They smoke in their office and we're rude and slow for check in. Having to move locations to pick up and having to wait on them I was a hour late getting my rental.BRITTANIE C.

The U-Haul I rented had garbage in from a roofing job. I had to pile my stuff on top of that. I took the truck back to get the garbage out and the manager wanted to charge me for the gas I used to go get the truck cleaned out. I didn't pay for that of course. The manager isn't the friendliest of people. If I have to tent another truck it won't be from this establishment.Micheal J.

Not open had to call attendant. Office smelled like an ashtray. Located in a storage facility and office door open to back with dirty laundry on floor by washing machine. Attendant didn't have her glasses on; couldn't find them. Unbelievable!Cynthia S.

Representative was rude and unhelpful. The Truck was missing the dolly that was requested during reservation. I had to drive to another U-Haul representative to get a dolly. The truck had under 1/4 tank of fuel. Truck Container was dirty, had a spilt sticky substance in 2 large spots, and also had broken glass near the cargo door.Allen H.

The truck was ready for me, however, it was obvious that there was only one person in the office. She had other customers when I arrived (which is good). Once she put my information in the system, I was handed a key and pointed to the lot where the truck was parked.The vehicle was clean and ready to go, and I got what I needed.larry R.

I'm usually not one to leave bad reviews, and I don't know whose â€œfaultâ€ this was, but once we got to the location they had double booked our truck and the lady who did my rental â€œupgradedâ€ me to a much larger truck, which I assumed would be rented for the same price as the smaller one. It wasn't. I was charged for the larger vehicle I didn't reserve. That's fine, I'm not one to get upset over $5. She was obviously very sick, too sick to be working, so I let it go. Then when I got into the truck, the gas was below 1/8th tank. She wrote me down for 1/8 full. When I returned the truck with the same amount of gas, I didn't notice I was being charged another $30 for fuel that I had not only replaced, but filled higher. It was too late to dispute by that time, but I gotta say, overall I would not put my customers through the unprofessionalism we experienced through this rental.jordan W.

I received my vehicle with standing water and broken glass in the storage area. The cabin reeked of cigarette smoke and had sand all over the floors and seats. I spent 3 hours mopping and cleaning mud, glass, and water from the back before being able to move my belongings that included mattresses and furniture.Alec F.
Terrible service. Didn't receive truck at scheduled time. Didn't receive gas tank amount as indicated in the contract (was at a quarter of a tank and not a half of a tank). Didn't get a walkthrough of the vehicle with the vendor (no pictures no nothing). Return time indicated incorrectly. Charged an extra 100 miles (263 miles) even though my round trip was around 150 miles....not 263. Fucking terrible. UHAUL dropped the ball on people in the panhandle who just went through one of the worst hurricanes ever. Had to drive 2 hours just to get the vehicle since no others were available in the region, then get double charged, as well as charged for an additional 100 miles. I will be letting everyone I know how bad this incident was.Chris M.
