The actual location was great and very helpful. Any type of customer service from uhaul from calling them directly to online help sources were completely useless. 3 hours of my life was wasted for a simple fix

Jim TThere's no phone service here to do a mobile pick up. The computer wouldn't work to let the employee do a computer pick up. We had to have them call and do it. Did our contract verbally, then when we went to go get the truck the employee signed out, he lost the key. So they gave us a different truck. So when we went to return it on a Sunday and the uhaul drop off was closed they didn't know it was our truck and they tried charging us extra for not bringing the truck back. A whole big mess!

Shaun EInternet was down throughout a large geographical area at pick up time. On site staff at the Red Barn in Bieber Ca responded and worked with U Haul personal via phone to process my pick up. Everyone worked excellent together.

Spencer BI put fuel in the truck but was still charged for 3 gallons and I only drove it 7 miles total.
Rebecca SI was asked to take my truck to this location. unfortunately i could not get there before they closed. I had called U-haul to let them know I was going to be late and they were going to transfer me and she asked me to wait. I waited for over 45 minutes. Then I was charged an additional day on top of it;.
Randall BThis location is not staffed to service UHaul transaction on Saturdays and Sundays. We have been caught off guard by this multiple times, including reservation pickup dates where the UHaul desk was unstaffed. Please communicate better staffing/reservation availability at this location.

MARK VI made a reservation almost 1 month in advance. We called the day before to pick up truck and was told it was there. When we got there someone and released it to someone else, so took almost 2 more hours to get a truck. Also, no one in store was trained to take reservations and THAT took forever.

Robert VThey shorted me on 6 blankets, and the truck was dirty inside. We originally had it reserved at the Susanville location a month prior and they didn't have a truck. We had to drive 70 miles one way to pick up at this location.

kim bWe were told to drop it off at this location, and it was very upsetting that we could not drop it off in the local town we moved to Alturas,CA when there was a U-Haul facility there, and costing us more money in fuel and more time..Just felt it would be better that we drop it off in the town we are moving to if there is a location there, in which there was.
RANDY H4 HR wait charged double of what was quoted. They sent to wrong destination for return. Worse experience ever. Wil never use Uhaul again
DAVID PWell the first thing was that I took a different route through the mountains which was flatter and less winding to be easier on your truck. It was a route that was ten miles longer so I got dinged on four extra miles when I returned it. Next time I won’t care about the equipment I guess. Nobody seemed to give a crap that there was an extra quarter of a tank of gas more than what I received which I estimate was about 10 gallons. So just gouge me on the extra four miles I drove and charge me for that but don’t worry about the $20 in gas I gave you. It just came across as a cheap way to treat a customer.

DALE V26ft truck we reserved out of Susanville Ca was not available. I had to make a 4 hour round trip to get a smaller 20ft truck. Reno dispatch did not care or help. " it not reserved until we talk"...so what good is the app or online reservation process????. We had to wait until Monday the 1st to get only trailer available the smallest. We lost a day of travel and left behind furniture and other belongings because we did not receive the RESERVED equipment at the day, place or time that we had reserved.
Crystal HEXTRA yes for snow extra charges for returning truck and using drop box pack a lunch if renting out in the dessert they don't worry about the four or five hours you have to wait for their computer reboot even if you was supposed to have been picking truck up at a time that ended up being seven hours later reboot lol they keep you there shopping he'll by the time you get out of that little hwy robbery training camp your probably going to be to broke to drive the truck that gets stuck in snow even if it's not deep truck gets stuck just turning it around or pulling into driveway anyways storm caused me to end up spending about six hundred dollars I did not choose to keep it two extra days I was snowed in but than to be charge an addition am two days after first two additional days that was wrong plus I had accidently l Trusted the market had handed me all my bags well as it the s out they forgot to hand me one of them that was my coffee well to come home see no coffees and have to go back its 26 miles away you do the math 54 miles at 89 cents a mile plus gas easily over a qtr tank that costed 97 dollars to fill up at this l9cation same as rental location btw plus throw in rental time and the supposedly 5 dollar a day ins that comes up as 42 dollars for two days wtf and your morning Joe is going to be more than star fucks for the month but as we k ow there's not one of those for 70 miles do that in one of these trucks for a day and you can see why uhaul needs unlimited mileadmge on the trucks they are renting out in the dam dessert it's not even a good choice on a sunny day to rent Therese trucks if your time is spent waiting at location to pick up your reserved truck and six hours later the system final for kingly finishes rebooting you don't get any breaks on this rental the snow causes setbacks they don't stop charging you for say being snowed in or truck gets stuck ie snowed in they are still charging you and if they don't check truck return. Guess what your get typing charged until somebody checks the key drop be prepared 5o pay hundreds of dollars in the 5 dollar a day ins they offer as they charge five dollars ins policy handling fee every day for their five dollar a day ins three days 42 dollars wtf and than another two days plus an additional two extra days after extra snowed in days and fuck it get an uber or get robbed either way getting screwed should at least be consentual

jean lYour UHaul computer failed to work when I returned truck within 3 day limit, so your computer charged me for 4 days. I contracted for $42 insurance, but your computer charged me $56. You charged me $855.52 instead of legitimate $809.75. You have stolen money from my credit card. FIX IT NOW! RETURN MY $45.77 THAT YOU HAVE STOLEN FROM ME! NOW!!!

John HI reserved boxes, tape paper and they had none. I believe that this is actually the company "Uhaul"s fault since it is the website that said these things were reserved when that store does not actually carry them. However, there were no tie downs there and that is a pretty basic thing not to carry. We had tons of wasted space because of this. 600 spent in order to move what could have been moved in a van. A blanket we rented had some grey powder in it that settled on a Chinese antique piece and is now part of the table. I will have to work at restoring that piece which is the most precious piece that we moved! Not happy. Clean the blankets! The people were nice, kind, good service. Your website sucks, Uhaul corporation.
