Please don't change location on day of pick-up! Sadly, past 3 times I reserved a U-Haul since Nov. 2020 & again May 8 2021, my orig. location (3 miles) from my house was changed to (14 miles)from my house hours before my original reservation screwing everything up! I had planned for my move. Had to re-schedule movers, pay late fee to storage facility etc.. Then U overcharged me & when I called to get invoice resolved, was told will get a call back within 48 hours to get overcharges off. Been 4 days now, no call back & U are charging me another $38.00 today instead of re-imbursing the extra $50 U charged me for first Invoice on May 10th. Disgusting!!! I'm out $100.00 extra dollars from U & I rented a $19.95 a day truck for 2 days & total miles used 11. No way it cost $150.00 total. Gonna have to file a complaint somehow to retrieve my $100.00 you overcharged me & neglected to honor calling me back to fix it. So Disappointing!Russell R.

I originally scheduled a pick up at the UHaul location, 1901 Eubank NE Albuquerque, NM 87112. Once I got there the attendant told me they did not have my reserved vehicle. He and another attendant basically had the attitude "even though I had a reservation there was noting they could do about it." They said they would call me if a truck came in. I left the facility and I called the 800 UHaul number and a very helpful lady was able to get me a truck at another location. I really wish I had gotten the two guys names so I could write a letter to the UHaul corporate office. I was right in the middle of moving, paying movers and to go pick up a vehicle and be told "no truck and not my problem" really set me off. UHaul did give me a $50 credit which I was grateful for but the service at the Eubank location was unacceptable by any standard.Mitchell M.

I reserved the truck for four hours and was called and told I only have 3 hours for the rental. Everything else was a great EXPERIENCEDevon N.
I was unable to check-in online. For some reason the uhaul website would not recognize my location services and there was not a way to bypass that screen. I had to drive to another location to inform uhaul of the issue. It was extremely frustrating.Melanie V.

Truck was HALF full of fuel which then forced me to play a guessing game of how much gas to put in the tank. I got nickle and dimed and it won't happen again! Rent your trucks out with a FULL tank of gas then people can simply fill it up before returning. I will NOT be renting from UHaul again.CURTIS L.

An elderly woman tried to tell me not to lock my truck up and spare her the hassle of locking up the key. I didn't trust her because she looked like she could be trusted. It was an odd situation because she was waiting in the wings. Maybe someone could keep watch and make sure nothing shady was taking place at the uhual mobile rental stations. Great concept, but if someone overly trusting came along and just handed the keys off to a stranger, things could go south quickly. Other than that, my experience was flawless. When I finally got the truck, it was clean and worked well, but getting things was terrible. â€¢ The computer went down and though there was a truck in the lot they would not rent it to me. They would not even sell me boxes. A nearby U-Haul agency had the same Computer problem but was able to rent out trucks and sell me boxes. â€¢ when I got the truck it only had a quarter tank of gas. What happened to rent it full, return it full? â€¢ there was no key drop off â€¢ initially they added 1000 miles to my travel. When I objected they did correct it. Incompetency at the shop cost me more than 100 miles of extra travel, and hours of extra time during a very busy part of my life.Garth R.
The one thing I didnt like is when I first ordered it asked for my ID number, which is fine, but during pick up it asked for it again and basically made me re apply which took forever. Then I had to wait for someone to verify all while I had a deadline to get my stuff out. It would be nice if you could make it so everything could be done prior to picking upJonathan B.

The price on the truck or van is different from what the renter will finally pay! I paid almost $52 plus a trip plus gas while the sides of the truck or van says $19.95. So I feel like I was tricked. Thanks.Daudi M.

There is NO key drop off at this location - literally the only location Ive seen in the country without one. I was waiting in the parking lot for over 1 hour 30 minutes waiting for the manager to call me back or for U-haul customer service to pick up. Nothing. Then the manager had the audacity to give me a call the next morning to tell me that it was all my fault that he was missing out on a rental. This was the most infuriating part of my trip by far. Would NOT recommend this location to anyone.Rosie R.

While it won't improve service per se, as a public service, UHaul might consider giving out face masks. I'm on a board of a hospital and I believe that our politicians have sent mixed messages, some have been slow learners and confused freedom issues with science and health matters about what we can do you remain save, and a mask, properly worn, is a key tool that should be strongly encouraged.Thomas S.
