This location was in one of the worst sections of town. I did not feel safe in the office or at the location itself. It was by far the absolute worst experience I've ever had with UHaul.Kimberly H.

Business door said open Monday-Friday 9am to 4pm. Employee did not show tell 9:35am. I was stuck outside for 40 minutes with a key or code to get my truck. When I called uhaul the rep. Hung up on me after 35 minutes on hold. I was very upset. It was not worth the money I paid.John L.
This location is in one of the worst neighborhoods in Indianapolis. The parking lot is a complete wreck. Extremely unsafe for a late night return. Location does not support mobile app pickup before the business opens but you don't know this until you try and do the pick up. Would never rent from this location again.SCOTT L.
I was promised one thing from customer service and the local office was completely opposite. With my 26' truck rental was free storage space for 30days. I called 48 hours in advance even though they said I only needed to call 24 hours in advance. Was told they don't have a storage location but I can get ubox bins and fill them up for free. Also was told they would be delivered for $150 to my house. Long story short, everything I was told was not true. I was charged fir my bins and they don't deliver the box when I need them.Becky R.
Extremely unsafe environment. Would not recommend. The person who rented the truck for me signed me up for insurance, which I did not request. I found this out when I returned the truck at the destination location and learned that since I had driven the truck, I was on the hook for the ~$50 of the insurance charged to my credit card. I placed my reservation 3 weeks in advance at a closer pick up site and was confirmed by 2 people that my truck would be there. I get an email after 10 pm the night before stating the pick up that I have to drive to us at another location. I drove past where I was originally supposed to pick up, and my truck that I reserved was there, but we couldn't pick it up there. Additionally, despite the guaranteed confirmation, my uhual order was cancelled! Went to the new location and the parking lot was filled with deep potholes and the guy helping us had none of my information and refused to take my information unless I did it all online. The truck was checked over before leaving, it was dirty inside and there was very little gas in the vehicle. The vehicle was to have no less than 3/4 tank of gas or you get charged by Uhual. I ended up filling the tank ($40) even though I only used 1/4 tank of gas so I wouldn't get charged; I don't get refunded even a quarter of that money.MARVIN S.

The service was okay, but the location was owned by entrepreneurs who did everything from tax refunds, to selling jewelry; it was like something out of a movie. The parking lot of the location was small, the business was not clearly marked, and I'm pretty sure the people who ran the place lived in the back of the building. Just being honest, I expect just a little more from U-Haul.Paul A.
After having our order changed, and then not available at the second location we went to our final pick up location. They were supposed to open at 9. That's what it said on the front of the business and online. No one arrived until after 9:30 and that was only after calling uhaul to get someone to come to work. This is is beyond ridiculous. If we didn't call, would anyone have showed up at all? Not to mention the parking lot was filled with broken glass and a bunch of potholes.Eric W.
Location was closed. The parking lot had lots of pot holes, and very tight for parking. Could be susceptible to an accident due to parking lot traffic. Someone came up to us with no Uhaul attire and asked if we wanted to give them the key to return the truck. We declined.VERONICA J.

My rental was for a 24 hour period from 12:00PM to 12:00PM. I arrived at this location at 11:30AM. The Woman at check in counter was rude and snatched the key from me, stated â€œI will handle your check-in.â€ When reviewing my bank account the following day I noticed an additional $65.00 charge from UHaul. I had been charged an additional day because the woman had stated I did not check in the rental until after 2:00 PM. Thankfully I was able to contact customer service and was refunded the fraudulent charge. Beware of this location. Also, there were multiple children running about the store, and I could hear the sound of small children crying from back behind the desk behind a door. It was concerning to say the least.Amanda M.
It was very difficult to drop off the truck. Cars kept pulling around the truck so we could not safely park it in front of the drop-off location. We had to park it by the billboard sign.Dustin W.
Fuel cost rip off. Ripping off customers by price gouging on fuel charges in the middle of a COVID pandemic is distasteful & doesn't sound very legal, either. Uhaul services are needed, especially now, but that doesn't make it right to charge customers excessively on fuel. I rented a Uhaul truck on Thursday 4/15/2021, then drove 13 miles and returned the truck forgetting to add gas. I was slapped with a $17.00 fuel charge the next day. I called and spoke to a man and ask if the price of the fuel could be reduced, he said no. That's unreasonable. Charging me $17.00 for driving 13 miles is unfair. I understand charging me for driving the 13 miles, but $17.00 isn't really reasonable when a gallon of gas cost $2.55 on average. Uhaul is taking advantage of their customers.EBONY H.

I was supposed to pick up at a different location, 20 miles north of this location. During the morning of the pickup, I proceeded to the original pickup location and logged in for the "mobile" pickup using my mobile device. My device said that my equipment was ready, however, after clicking on "check-in" it relayed to me there was an issue and to go inside the store. After walking into the store, the salesperson told me that the vehicle I had reserved days in advance was down and not available. I did NOT receive any notice of this. The salesperson decided to try and call around to find an available vehicle. After waiting for this, they located another vehicle approximately 20 miles south. They advised me that the vehicle was ready to go and they would be waiting my arrival. After arriving at the new store, the store was closed and no one was in or around the store. I had to call three(3) different U-Haul numbers to try and locate someone to check-in and receive the keys to the vehicle. After connecting with a representative, they said they had to call the store owner and he told them he would be at the store in five(5) minutes. I waited 20+ minutes for the store owner to arrive. Just in time for a huge rain storm to move in and further delay my already hour and a half (1 1/2hr) delayed moving process. They also did not have the furniture dolly that I needed as well... Not a pleasant experience. At the least, could have discounted the expensive rental rate.Kyle P.
Staff at this location did not know what they were doing. Took 45 minutes to get me checked in because the couldn't figure out how to use the computer program properly. I was getting ready to just leave and go to another U-Haul location when they finally got it figured out.John A.
