Asked attendant about checking truck in. Her reply, no, I can do it later. After leaving location, we get an email that the truck was not left at 1/4 tank. This is total crap. I filled it to 1/4 tank b4 returning to Monument location. We were charged approximately $50. We called location and she said we could call Uhaul which we did. Individual we spoke with said we should hear something back relatively soon. Never heard back. This whole thing was farce from dropping off the truck. You've lost us as a customer forever. We had rented a car hauler and 6'x12' covered trailer brought back to this location on Monday. If these charges are not removed, we are turning it over to Chase Visa dispute center. No signage or hours posted that is visible from the street. Basically unmanned location that is not attended by anyone. I just dropped the trailer off and had to call back to let them know it was there. The person who answered the called sounded surprisedDavid M.

It was very small, hard to find...didn't really look like a business...more like a lot with a bunch of abandoned uhauls. Business building was being used by several groups, it seems. Felt strange.Matthew C.

Insure that cracked windshields are replaced prior to releasing vehicles and that they have a full tank of gas. I picked up my rental with barely a quarter tank. I returned it with a half tank of gas and received no credit. Also auto transport trailers need to have a break system for added safety. There should be antisway bar to reduce the risk of losing control of the vehicle, especially for inexperienced drivers. My moving trip from Colorado to North Carolina was one of remember I had to drive during high wins and freezing rain and snow creating hazardous driving conditions. I have years of driving experience towing travel trailers, but for those that don't have the experience those conditions could cause serious accident. The moving blankets were poorly folded and not in bags. the clerk undercounted the number and I and to verify everything. The gas tank was not full when I picked up the truck. During the walk around inspection, I was told to take pictures to send in on a text mail. this was incorrect and lead to unnecessary calls to customer service.Gregg L.

I expressed concern with the unusual storm hitting the area I was traveling through, the location sold me more mileage just in case I needed to reroute myself. When I dropped off, I hadn't used the extra miles and the associate told me that if I had exceeded the mileage it wouldn't have been an issue but since I prepaid for it ($350) they won't refund it. I feel this was a shady practice.Zack F.
Happy with the location, NOT happy with U-Haul for changing out 26ft truck reservation fot a 20ft truck the day prior. Then we had to spend MORE money on a 12ft trailer, which also cost more in gas. Very disappointed as U-Haul has triexd to blame us for requesting a 26ft truck.TIMOTHY F.

While the personnel were nice, the truck was not clean when I picked it up. There were empty bottles, sunglasses, and crumbs in the cab. The bed of the truck had a pile of unfolded moving blankets, empty boxes, and a dirty floor.Tom D.

It took one hour to get the rental completed! Because there is no internet service at the location, it kept failing. When we tried to leave to find connectivity, we were told we were too far away from the location! Although we had rented the truck for four hours, by the time we got on the road, we were only given three hours! We rushed to make the deadline. It was an awful experience and I will never rent from you again. Additionally, I am telling everyone who lives nearby to never use this location via Nextdoor.Allison R.
This was a new location that had just started renting trucks. I was sent to this location which was fifteen miles away the day before the pickup date vs the 3 miles that my rental reservation had stated for two weeks. I tried to pickup the truck using the 24/7 app but it would not recognize the location or the bar code pictures I took on the building. Ended up having to wait 45 minutes for location to open. Tried to upload pictures of some damage to truck but never was successful after 3 tries and about 15 minutes. Reserved an appliance cart and 4 dozen pads but they only had 2 dozen. After an hour and fifteen minutes trying to finally get the truck (I was the only customer) got to home to have loaders start loading, opened the back of truck and no appliance dolly. Ended up going to another location to get more pads and appliance dolly. Truck was great but the checkin process was the worst I ever had with UHaul.Richard C.
