It's the overall customer experience that makes for a good rental. The rental truck has a speed limiter at 74 mph. Speed limiters may lead to increased traffic congestion, especially on highways where trucks cannot keep up with the flow of faster vehicles. Additionally, in situations where acceleration might be necessary to avoid accidents, such as overtaking, the restriction can pose a safety risk. I understand you want to protect your equipment and your liability but raising the speed limiter to 80mph would be prudent.

Shouldnt have to wait 20 mins for boss to come back from lunch to review truck.
April CIt was a remote location that wasn't even open on the day of drop off. No instructions were given about drop off procedures. Overall not a great U-Haul experience this time.
Rebecca MThe locks for the truck keys were frozen. Which is not necessarily their fault, but I do recommend getting a different kind of lock.The truck had a broken wiper and there was no furniture dolly which I had requested. Overall not bad, just bad circumstances.

Alddy TI was charged for an extra day due to the location putting in the return time wrong. The customer service representative handled the situation but the money won't be refunded for 3-5 business days and it took time out of my schedule to have it fixed. Not very satisfied.

Courtney HThe take up ratchets were rusted and needed lubrication which I did at home. The Driver side fender was bent. Tire stop was bent and interfered with the take up ratchet on the passenger side from lining up with the center of the tire. I again adjusted this at home because I was on a very tight time line. There are other things also.
timothy WIt would of been much easier if the location was open. We rented from another place in Portage and they didn't have the right truck so they sent us there. The check in process was ridiculous and set us back an hour. Had to call three people.

Vickie WIt took a minimum of 45 minutes each to check the truck out and in. Had to wait on hold for help and just hung up checking it back in because of the long wait. Had to have my daughter come help me with the location finder which did not work on my phone. Extremely frustrating and a complication we certainly did not need while trying to move to our new home. We'll only go to staffed rental locations from now on.
