Picking up a u-haul with mobile pick up sucks, it takes a lot of taking pictures and the pictures not being accepted. Make sure you arrive at least an hour early to be able to leave with your truck on time. I had a problem getting the lock off to get my key, u-haul needs to change the lever thing on the locks, I was so upset after being there over an hour and 45 minutes trying to just get my truck. The man who works at, runs or operates The Detail Shop with light brown hair and glasses was pretty awesome because he came to the shop, (assuming it was probably his day off (Sunday, shop is closed), and in seconds got the lock off (and was friendly, professional and a savior today. He said many of the locks don't open easily, and it a trick with the lever you push after entering the combo. My recommendation is get your truck from a dealer directly, skip the mobile pick up and avoid the annoyance. If it weren't for the guy coming to my rescue today, I definitely wouldn't give a good rating this time about u-haul.Amy G.

Interior of the store was cluttered and dirty. The piles of clutter were covered in dust. The staff did not wear masks or maintain social distancing and did not ask the other customers in the store to either. When hooking up the trailer to my car, the employee kept standing uncomfortably close to me while unmasked. When I dropped off the trailer, the receiving employee informed me that it was not properly hooked up to my trailer.Ryan S.

There was a glass in the passenger cup holder from a previous renter that had a yellow liquid in it. We chose to think it was Mountain Dew. There were also some coins left in the center console. In this era of Coronavirus, it was disturbing. The van itself was adequate to the task. In addition, I used your app to add a day to the original one day rental and was apparently charged for three days? Or I was charged for a full tank when I used less than two or three gallons. Either way, the jump from $46.23 to $111.47 for an extra 24 hours was a surprise and I have no invoice or detail to know what the extra charges are for. The only positive is the person who processed my rental when I came in. She was pleasant and professional.Deborah C.

The equipment was basic and not suitable for 1,600 mile trip. Older vehicle with no cruise control. Made for painful driving with hip and leg pain. This truck would of been suitable for local moves.TIMOTHY S.

You sent me 60 miles from my house to pick up my trailer at this location. There's nothing to love above that experience, especially considering the extra expense to me in both time and money. No break on the price. No effort to move the equipment closer to me.Scott B.
I booked the vehicle within an hour of picking up, so while it was not cleaned, I can hardly blame them. It just needed to be sanitized, which they gave me wipes to do it myself...odd. The dried coffee spills in the cup holders were a little gross and the dust. I can't fault them much b/c of not giving them much time. Rental and return went completely fine and the woman that helped me was very courteous and helpful.PHILLIPL P.
The touchless pickup did not work. Standing right in front of the location, the app told me I was not at the location, and wouldn't allow me to continue. (It did tell me the address where I was ....it was exactly where I was standing) Had to go inside and complete Cc and license all over again. Technology is useless.Christopher M.

When I got there the tried changing price. Because I showed up 10 mins earlier than appt they tried charging me for 2 days when I only needed for 6 hours. My phone died while driving GPS. Bought a charger and the charger ports in vehicle did not work. Back of box truck was dirty . I paid 130.00 $ for a 20$ truck rental and a 50$ tow dolly. I only drove 20 miles over the free 30 . @ .79 cents a mile. And I filled tank even though I left with 3/4. They changed there prices after I already talked to uhaul on the phone. And verified a different price. And they charged 175.00 on my card before I even left. If I was not paying attention they would had gotten me for way more. When I first arrived they tried charging me a one way price of 90.00 to rent box truck. Knowing I was bringing it back. I feel they have done this to others. And they may be scamming people.Jared B.

You seriously need to consider cloning James Gayton!!! I'm 50 years old and have never experienced customer service on this level. He is in a class all his own.
