Nothing...James Gayton is an absolute Godsend! U-Haul seriously needs to consider cloning him because his customer service skills are second to none. I will DEFINITELY be using his Batavia, NY location again in March for my second trip to Texas. THANK YOU, JAMES!!!

When I got there the tried changing price. Because I showed up 10 mins earlier than appt they tried charging me for 2 days when I only needed for 6 hours. My phone died while driving GPS. Bought a charger and the charger ports in vehicle did not work. Back of box truck was dirty . I paid 130.00 $ for a 20$ truck rental and a 50$ tow dolly. I only drove 20 miles over the free 30 . @ .79 cents a mile. And I filled tank even though I left with 3/4. They changed there prices after I already talked to uhaul on the phone. And verified a different price. And they charged 175.00 on my card before I even left. If I was not paying attention they would had gotten me for way more. When I first arrived they tried charging me a one way price of 90.00 to rent box truck. Knowing I was bringing it back. I feel they have done this to others. And they may be scamming people.

You seriously need to consider cloning James Gayton!!! I'm 50 years old and have never experienced customer service on this level. He is in a class all his own. Have already told many people to use this location because he is simply A-1 grade which is a rarity in today's world. THANK YOU, JAMES!!!

Our reservation that we made online was strangely cancelled, but luckily they were able to get us a truck still. The return policy was never explained to us, and the text message didn't make sense, so I was unsure as to whether I was going to get charged the $20 convenience fee for the representative checking the truck back in.

Very poor communication. Was my first time getting a U-Haul and I told the man I needed it for 24 hours then I receive a text message saying I needed to return it by 1115 that night when I'm moving stuff out of the house that I'm moving out of. Nor did he tell me that I had to fill up the gas tank nor did he give me any receipt and charged me out of what I thought but he seen fit.

This location is great! James and Marla went out of there way to make sure I was taken care of. When the henrietta store dropped the ball on a one way trailer not bieng there for my couple hour trip. Marla came back in on her own time for James to provide the transport trailer that the Henrietta uhual failed to obtain as prearranged 5 days prior. Furthermore the Henrietta uhual needs some coaching on customer service. I was greeted by a young man maybe 18-20 who was more concerned with his cellular phone than trying to help figure out what happened after explaining I was from out of town. I was told to call the uhual number as he was unable to do anything. I confirmed at both the Rome and Batavia u hual he most certainly could of used his computer to figure out what had happen. After returning to the Rome uhual Stephanie was more than helpfull and reimbursed me for the extra fuel needed to go from the Henrietta store to the Batavia store. Overall Rome and Batavia uhual was great. I will never use the Henrietta uhual again without knowledge of different employees/or the same employees but with an actual work ethic. When we arrived to drop off the truck and trailer, there was a note on the door saying that the owner had left for three hours. He left a number in case we needed him, which we did. There was no answer when we called. In about 15 minutes, he called us asking what we wanted. He said he would be there in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, after he still was not there, we left the truck and trailer there with the key on the dashboard. Very poor way to run a business.
