I do believe you guys can lower the cost of renting car dollies $630 I feel is a little aggressive for a two wheel dolly and $300 would be more like it not everybody in the world has $$630 dollars just laying around other than that the service was good but I got it from

It was impossible to lift the trailer onto the bal hitch because it was very very very heavy! I had to get another customer from the service station to help me lift the trailer and we still had difficulty lifting it. You need to have a better way to lift the trailer before someone gets injured!

Make sure equipment is safe to use for all customers. I was able to use personal equipment to get by with not being able to use provided tie downs. One wheel strap was damaged and unusable without using another piece of strap with a hook that I happened to have.

Site & clerk were quick, organized, efficient. The download time for copying both sides of your driver’s license to send to UHaull was slow. Slow internet or something. Maybe Black Friday was just unusually busy WIFi.

Check tire pressure on trucks AND trailers before renting them. Don't rent a truck if you can't provide a return location within a reasonable distance of the destination or don't charge miles if they have to drive more than 25 miles to return.

I just had to drop off my u haul a 100 miles out of the way of the direction I needed to go. It added 200 extra miles and time to what I really needed to be doing. This is my only complaint

My only problem was with my reservation that was made online and was apparently double booked but fortunately the store clerk was able to call customer service and take care of my issue. She was awesome

After I picked up the truck the roof top was caving in on us. The ignition keep popping out and missing up and and shorted out think someone was messing with it trying to hotwire the truck and after loading the truck would not start and they had to come change the battery in it so not a good experience they need to service and check the trucks better before renting them out nit good.

I reached where I was assigned to a location, then when I got there it sent me to a different location. Then told me to go back to the other location with the trailer that I couldn’t pull with my vehicle. Seemed to work alright though.

The worker on site was very nice but couldn’t do much on her own. She had to call her boss on the phone and pass all the info on to him so he could process it and he wasn’t on site. They also made me park the trailer and detach it myself and couldn’t provide any documentation that proved I dropped it off on time and that I didn’t damage anything.

The ,26, ft is super bouncy. Like the shocks are worn out low engine oil and needs serviced. Sincerely from professional truck driver dot would have a field trip day with that one. Just saying

There was no drop off box. Had to give the key to the gas station cashier. Again the online experience is terrible because it doesn't ever work out.

Employee told me that I was all set and she was going to check-in the truck when I dropped it off the afternoon of 12/24. She never checked it in and I had to spend a lot of time on the phone two days later figuring out how to resolve the claim that I had not returned the truck yet.

I was lucky because I was the only customer in the gas station to pick up the truck. If there had been gas station customers, it could have been an unsatisfactory process.

The location was a Chevron gas station, had only a young girl attendant, who was unable to assist in properly hooking up the trailer and truck. She also did not know how to look up reservations for the truck.

Make sure when customer calls for reservation to reserve a truck to move long distance one way they should not have to worry if they can get a truck for the long distance move and make sure when they pick up the truck that they should not have to drive more than 1 hour to go get the truck that is needed

The girl at the store didn’t have anyone to help unhitch the trailer and never really said where they wanted the trailer parked…had to ask another customer at the store to help us get it unhitched

What a horrible experience. Not only did they mess up my reservation three times I was told on the phone I would get 215 miles and when I returned it I found out I only had 190 miles. When I went to call customer service I was told to call different numbers and put on hold several times. Because they changed the pick up location because they did not have a vehicle ready like they said they would they changed my mileage without informing me. Yes I understand it’s on the paper but when you’re in a hurry because you have to move your whole house things tend to get over looked. However, I feel it is the responsibility of the vendor to let the consumer know that it’s changed. Both facilities for dropping off and picking up were nice and the customer service was excellent. However I was told on the phone when I made the reservation it was one thing and when I dropped it off I was told another. They say that the calls are recorded go back and find the recording and refund me my money. I’m just disgusted with this company. The lack of communication within the call centers is ridiculous.

Truck booked in Phoenix. Not acceptable from corporate to get a truck 200 miles away without compensation with no solution. Renting a 10 ft truck for 3h and charge a rate of $3,000 to the customer was not acceptable. Could have, at least, provided an auto dolly free of charge to drive back and did not. Deal offered by local Uhaul representative.

Uhaul ruined my experience. The night before I was supposed to pick up the trailer, a representative called me at 6 PM to tell me I had to drive 152 miles away to Thatcher Arizona to pick up the trailer. This did not even give me 24 hours to make a different plan. I had to drive 300 miles out of my way total to get that trailer. That is completely unprofessional and not OK. You cost me time and money. I will never use U-Haul again.

Although this particular location was very friendly and personable, I will never rent a vehicle thru IU-Haul again. I reserved a 15 ft truck from this location 3 weeks in advance. Days after making hte reservation online, I started receiving emails "reminding" me that the truck is reserved is only a request and "might not be available" at this location or any other. Figuring this was just corporate CYA, I assumed the truck I needed would be there. Days before the reservation date, I received more emails saying the truck I reserved would not be available at the location I requested. When I called them about this, they said the truck I wanted ( a 15 foot truck) was available that day at a nearby location approx 2 1/2 miles away. When I asked them to deliver it to the location I requested, they said "we don't do that" and I could pick it up from the nearby location. BUt that location wouldn't be open on Sunday and I would have to do online pickup by filling out a form and taking a number of photos of myself, the truck, and my driver license and attach them to the form. Then someone would show up to give me the keys. At this point I didn't trust U-Haul and said I would take teh 20 ft truck at the original location. But they said the original location only had 25 ft trucks now and I'[d have to take one of them. Having an absolute need for a truck, I agreed and went to the original location to pick up the 25 ft truck. When I got there, the lady said they had a few 20 foot trucks so I was able to get one of them instead of the 25 ft truck. Corporate U-Haul showed a complete lack of customer service by not fulfilling the reservation I made and I will never rent from them agail.

It was a very small location in a gas station. They didn't have the moving blankets I had requested, but it wasn’t that big of a deal this time. The customer service was amazing though! The gal that helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got on the road quite quickly. Thatcher is a small town, so the size of the store is not too surprising, but it made up in customer service. Thanks!

Have someone there you take care of U-Haul and someone to take care of store customers reach not just one person for both. Also when customers call corporate for reservations don't pull a bate and switch on customers. I expected a 5x8 trailer and they had me for a 4x6 so I ended up surveying more then expected.

I had to unload my car myself, back the trailer into an obscure spot without guidance. Then unhook the trailer myself. When I brought the truck back the following day, I just picked a spot and dropped off the keys. No questions, no follow up, no inspection, nothing. Pretty whack.
