The location was fine. It was the customer service over the phone by Tammy that was atrocious. Extremely rude and condescending after I was told 24 his before pick up that the truck was not avaliable. She offered no solutions and pretty much told me it was my problem. I would recommend listening to the call for training on what not to do. I demanded to talk to her supervisor which never happened but I could hear the supervisor in the background finding solutions until I got taken care of no thanks to Tammy. She's worthless.

The lady doing the paperwork seemed lost, and the gentleman who hooked up the trailer acted as if I was interrupting him. The trailer was not hooked up correctly and I had to stop and redo it. Come to find out the trailer was not in good repair and was dangerous to be on the road.

We had to go to 3 different locations, from south grand ( where I planned to drop off) but we couldn't there was nowhere to leave the truck outside the gate. Even though the email says you can drop off at any location at any time. Then we drove to 6th street location just for the system to tell us to then drive to the north grand location for drop off. We waisted over an hour driving all over town trying to drop the truck off.

Truck was dirty when I picked it up and they only had 11 of the 12 blankets requested. The blankets smelled like gasoline so we were unable to use them on anything cloth. Also, the gentleman working there didn't know how to handle the pickup and had to call another office to get the truck set up.

Horrible experience I will never use uhaul again

Not being that grumpy person but it was not a good experience. First they had a license plate issue, so the system would not work. Then they had trouble getting my hitch weight and had to call a second time. Then they did not have a wiring harness to hook up the lights. I had to drive to the main U-Haul location to get a harness. The lady on site admitted they had used all of them but did nothing to replace it ahead of my arrival. I spent over an hour of mine time with these issues. If possible I would like some sort of refund for the issues.

When I arrived to pick up my reserved 20 ft truck, I was informed by the attendant that the laptop computer she needed to complete the contract would not be on site for at least another hour and there was nothing she could do about the situation. I had movers scheduled and had tight time constraints, so I contacted reservations at 325-692-9203 and Marissa was exceptionally helpful and was able to complete the transaction remotely. I requested 24 moving blankets on my reservation and there were only 19 blankets on the truck so the attendant asked a worker to put 5 more blankets on the truck. With the distractions of trying to complete the transaction remotely and inspecting the truck for damage, I did not remember to verify the additional 5 blankets were placed on the truck nor did the female attendant on site. This apparently wasn't done as when I arrived in SA and unloaded, I had only 19 blankets in my possession. I again contacted Marissa before I returned the truck to notify U-Haul of the blanket number discrepancy and that I didn't want to be held responsible for the mistake. She again was most helpful and noted the problem on the computer contract. The location for pick up was not convenient for me to access. This is the second time in a row that I have been sent to a neighborhood dealer that was inconvenient and remote from my location for pick up. The entire pick up experience was unacceptable except for the again exceptional service provided by Marissa.

Be upfront about availability not being guaranteed. Live 40 minutes from nearest uhaul location but ended up having to drive 1 hour and 15 minutes because no availability. Would not have been as upset but was not warned at all. Then uhaul had my wrong number so I had to call and wait on hold and be transferred to different people. Not impressed with how the situation was handled but needed a trailer..

I needed furniture pads. I reserved them on line. This location does not carry them. So why did you send me to this location. Went to another uhaul location. They said all their pads had been reserved. They had pads on the shelf, but would not turn them into rental pads.

Our car we were traveling in died and we needed to change Uhaul equipment to get from South Carolina to California and this dealer was fantastic. Would highly recommend!

I was upset that the blankets i ordered were not in the truck and forgot to leave the lock from the back of the truck. There should be instructions in the app to leave the lock prior to taking the truck. The front of the truck was a mess (bugs mostly) to include the windshield. There also is no cruise control on this truck, which made the 1200 trip miserable.
