Michael SI showed up for the appointment and no was in the office. Looked around for a few minutes, then called UHaul's 800#. Finally, after about 30, found the guy, and then he didn't have the furniture Dolly I requested.

Lloyd PI have attempted to contact the operator of this franchise. The truck used from this location was very rough. The exterior was quite a mess, decals falling off dents everywhere. The absolute worst was NO A/C! The temperature was 80 degrees! My husband actually got very ill from no comfort from air conditioning! I had to put on extra miles to get him to an air conditioned location. I feel there should be some type of compensation because of this experience. This is not the first rental of uhaul for me. Richard SAssure that your trucks are in tip top condition. If they need to be junked, then junk them. You should not put profit over customer safety.
Renea IYou could improve your website to not let you try renting from places close to you and end up having to drive almost an hour away. Have a standard for non uhaul locations (like where they are). I have rented many times and never have I been so disappointed. The address given to me for this location was wrong, the equipment was tethered and worn with no replacement to be given. I was charged almost 130$ more than I was originally quoted. I'm never recommending uhaul again.
Stephanie SIt would be beneficial if all fuel tanks were full of gas at pickup. it is difficult to do a return with the same amount of gas.
Ernest SWhen I went to leave with the truck I was renting there was a padlock on the back and the man did not know it was there or have the combination to remove it! While I waited for him to locate the last renter I was paying my worker by the hour and that was costing me money. He gave me a different truck after failing to locate the padlock combination. I returned it with more gas than I left with but got charged for gas! He wasn't around when I returned it so I couldn't even speak to anyone. The gas cap had no lock so anyone could have taken gas out while the office was unattended. I won't use this location again.
Janice SWe started the process through the 800 number because we had to find the exact equipment we needed. They located it and gave a CC number to hold. When we got there it made it SO easy. Did a few things and on the road we went. Nice job!!

CHARLES FI initially requested pickup from Vitale's in New castle, but U-haul called and asked if I could pickup a day earlier from Terries, which I agreed to. I called Terries to inform them I will be picking up there and was told he already had the truck rented out to someone for pickup on Monday, I was picking up on Saturday. He said he would have to get this straightened out and he would call me back. He never called me back but I called him back and he said he did get this straightened out and I could pick up on Saturday prior to noon as he closed at noon. When we arrived at 10:45am the office was unlocked and no one was present, waited for approximately 30 minuets until the owner showed up as he went to Youngstown to pick up auto parts. He did not give me a contract and said U-Haul would e-mail the same to me. He only gave me a copy of the Safemove Validation tag, but no contract. Never received an e-mail with the contract. I had to call to verbally get the breakdown on what was initially charged on my card. There was no documentation as to how much fuel was in the vehicle nor any documentation as to what any fuel surcharge would be or how to estimate how many gallons to put back into the vehicle. I thought I replaced what I used prior to dropping it off, but now I am working with U-Haul customer service regarding the extra fuel surcharge as I am disputing that. I will not pick up from Terries Sales and Rental again, I will travel further to pick up a rental truck if I have to in the future.
MICHAEL DProper maintain equipment. Trailer had lights issues. bald tires and not clean. We tried to report after hours drop at 9 pm and the system would not let us. Today we got charged an late fee when it was return on time.
