this location does not have there shit together charged me $75 at first for something that cost $55 then the next day charged me $64.12 saying that i dropped it off in new orleans when its not even possible. and i have no received a refund and when i call the man that answered was not helpful he kept telling me that there is no female that works there when the female we returned the tower to was his sister they do not have there shit together at all i need my refund as well
FRED MWe didn't interact with any personnel and did a self return. The only detour we took was to get gas. However, when we got our receipt the next day, we apparently went 31 extra miles, which costed us an extra $34.26. Pretty much a hidden fee.
WILLIAM TNo contact was a little disconcerting but it all worked out well. People on the phone were courteous and helpful.
Allen REverything was good, instructions were easy to understand. The only thing was I rented a dolly and did not receive it. Spoke with an associate and was thankfully able to get a refund, although I had to purchase one from a nearby store.

JEEMY AOn the website we requested dollies and furniture pads; we found out later we would not them get because it is a remote unmanned location. The truck did not appear to be inspected prior to rental, it had loose finish nails, screws, cap nails, dirt, and rocks in the back which we had to clean out before we could load the truck. One of the cap nails got stuck in the bottom of my shoe. The cab had loose trash and spilled candy under the seats. We couldn't use cruise control, seemingly due to the "Service AdvanceTrac" notification we kept getting on the dash. I realize I could have not accepted the conditions before driving it off the lot, but we didn't have any time to spare during the move. The AdvanceTrac notification issue started about 1/3 of the way through our tip.

Stephanie BThis isn't even a U-haul location. It is a parking lot with a few trucks and a trailer in it. I was called by the "mobile manager" the day before I was to drive to Baton Rouge from Houston asking if I could be there between 9 and 9:30am rather than my 10:30am reservation because she was handling two locations. I arrived at 9:15 and no one was there. I called and waited about 10 minutes for her to arrive. I had order one dozen blankets, but since there is not store here, she had to scrounge through the trucks on the lot to give me 6 dirty blanket. Then she asked ME to hook up the trailer, which I did although this is a first - every other time I have rented from U-haul they hook the trailer up for you (and don't allow you to leave unless everything is functional). I quickly discovered that the pigtail for the lights was missing an extension so I was unable to connect the lights as the wiring was about 2 feet too short. I had already looked on my phone and found an AutoZone about 2 miles away. When the U-haul mobile manager brought to my attention that the lights weren't hooked up I showed her the problem and told her I would go to AutoZone and get the pigtail extension. She asked me to send her a photo of the trailer once I got the lights working. I left for AutoZone, bought and installed the extension and quickly learned that it needed to be grounded in order for the lights to function. I went back into AutoZone and purchased a cordless drill, self tapping screws, and a socket set (none of which I needed other than in this moment) to facilitate properly grounding the extension as this was the quickest and easiest way I could think of. Once it was all said and done I lost two hours of my day that I should have spent loading the trailer. I am currently in negotiations with customer service at U-haul to get reimbursed for everything which isn't going very well. They only want to reimburse me for the $15 extension rather than the $139 I spent to be able to safely use THEIR trailer. Next time I need a rental, I will be going to Ryder or Penske or Budget or...

Patrick FThis weeks rental went smoothly!! I rented a larger trailer a week ago and it was a disaster!! It took the representative over an hour to figure out the app… he didn't charge correctly, didn't put the correct drop off point (after having to input my information 4 times, only after if offered to help him with app did the information save. Once at the drop off location, I was told it would be an additional THREE TIMES THE PRICE!! Because the first guy screwed up so badly. I was given the number to "TRAFFIC" to get a refund, but moving took all my time. I wish things were above board the first time around! Money is tight when you are relocating! Anyway, thanks. SB

Victoria DFor starters you can have people onsite that is willing and able to help with unhooking trailers. I'm 63 and had a hella time getting the trailer off the hitch. No one there to help!!! I'll never use this place again!

Michael G1st) When I made my online reservation I chose not to get the insurance from you. When I got the trailer I was charged $25 for the insurance. I didn't know this until after I dropped the trailer off. The reason is, the lady who rented me the trailer did not print my contact. She emailed it to me and I could read it due to it being so small. Also, she didn't ask me if I wanted the insurance. The man at the dropoff location printed me a copy. 2nd) The trailer was located in a place in the parking lot that was VERY difficult for me to hook up to. I had to ask someone from another business to help me hook it up. I suggested to the lady who rented it to me that they might want to put things in a better place. 3rd) I have NEVER had to hook up a trailer from U-Haul. A employee of U-Haul has always been there to hook up the trailer. I am 54y/o and disabled the only employee there was a pregnant woman. I wasn't going to even ask her to help me cause I knew she couldn't. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. James S.
James SApp and video gave very detailed instruction but was not able to execute final truck check in process- which gobbled up a lot of time snd heightened angst needlessly- googled turn in office phone and they assisted. Turn in location assigned was not especially convenient- but I suspect that's how you manage the distribution of inventory Ps Anchor points for straps inside truck could be improved by integrating D rings on wall Overall - mission accomplished Thank you for being there to provide valuable service
Britt VThe fuel stated in the contract was wrong. The actual fuel was on EMPTY when I started the truck. I did not go back to the office to report the issue as it took 30 minutes to get the truck and I needed to get going.

DORIAN DDespite the website stating that Tender Kate was supposed to be open Saturday 7/14/21, they were not when I arrived at 10am to drop the trailer. Completing the return process online was not an option because the website could not confirm my location. Reaching a customer service representative was daunting and took a long time. When one was finally reached they were polite and noted the account of our trouble but ultimately could not help finalize the return for us. This was a stressful and inconvenient experience.
CLAYTON TI arrived there to pick up the 20" truck I had reserved and paid for and the business wasn't open. I called the business line for about 30 minutes. I also knocked on the doors and got no answer. I chatted with 8 different representatives and spoke to 5 over the phone where I would be transferred and the call would get disconnected. Someone finally showed up after I stayed on the phone with 1 representative for 1 hour and 7 minutes until she reached the general manager for the area. 10:51 which is the time I was able to leave with the rental. Inside the rental coffee had been spilled but not cleaned up, candy paper and bags were under the seat. This through our entire moving day off. They only offered to give $50 back which hasn't been done to date.
Karmesha DWas not clear which door to enter in building to return the truck. Doors were all locked. After a few minutes a woman opened the door and I entered to return the equipment.
Steven MBusiness was not open when I tried to return truck even though I was there during business hours. Other customers also showed up and weren't able to pick up their rental. Business was not available by phone either.
Michael BVery disappointed with U haul I was told they not gonna charger and got I got charged without even knowing and now am getting back with them and they all bouncing me back and forth this is ridiculous.
PARMINDER Svery helpful and friendly, had bottle of cold drinks while we waited, office very clean and decorated nicely.
