William Maxwell, owner of this location, helped me to correct my invoice, even though we were on hold & transferred 4 times to the Customer Service line. After 1 hour, we were connected to Heather and the problem got corrected! William also helped when I picked up the truck because I couldn't get the 24/7 app to work right and he could see me on the camera. William helped me find the appliance dolly that was supposed to be on my truck and also helped me to locate the key. William is a very patient man!Jeannine Y.

no political comments from the staff I do not recommend that the staff tells the customer that the chains on the dolly do not matter and that no one uses them... However, the guy on duty was very friendly and nice, easy to deal with and willing to give us extra time if we wanted it.Fain R.

On Tuesday 9/14 I reserved the transport at the Flagstaff location and was told it would be arriving there at 7:30 AM Thursday 9/16 (my requested day) On Wednesday 9/15 I was told that I had to pick up the transport in Camp Verde an hour and 15 minutes farther than to the flagstaff location.Clayton N.
Need much better direct communications with customers. It is very difficult to reach you by phone or email... and you don't respond. Pricing and invoicing was complex, not transparent. I received charges after the move which were not explained. Containers were ok - they are just boxes. It's service that matters most.Allen M.

Bill Maxwell in Camp Verde was professional and delivered what he promised. All other experiences using uhaul from Longmont Colorado to Scottsdale Arizona was a total comedy of errors. Packers used very few pads, Lots of furniture gouges. Items virtually stuffed in with no regard for item of breakage,jenny H.
Air conditioning stopped working and tank wasn't at required fill when truck was picked up. Unhappy with not being reimbursed for returning a day early.Chad C.

The customer service was very friendly and helpful BUT it was a NIGHTMARE to make the reservation for my UHAUL box. The online system wasn't taking my reservation and I several days on hold, for HOURS waiting to talk with someone as then, TWO reservations were mistakenly made by the customer service rep and I was charged twice. Then MORE time on hold. Seriously, working with UHAUL, aside from the folks in the store who were great, the customer service was great, but the process was awful and I'll have to use a different service next time.Elizabeth H.
My reservation for a truck was from Flagstaff, AZ to Ogden, UT. Approaching my pick up date I was informed there were no trucks in Flagstaff and would have to drive 50 miles Camp Verde, AZ to get my truck. I traveled 50 miles to pick up the truck and another 50 back to my loading point. The only compensation was 100 extra miles ... which was not helpful because the mileage allowance was 100 miles greater than the distance I was taking the truck. A more appropriate compensation would have been for the gas consumed to and from Camp Verde (about 10 gallons). The only individual at this location was fairly new and didn't know how to do anything except give me the keys. When asked about a military discount he said he didn't know how to do it but the folks at the delivery point would be able to do it. Not true. There was a ding on the forward edge of the driver's door which prevented the door from sealing properly. The road noise and noise from the wind blowing through the door seal rendered the radio unusable.Ryan L.

Owner was very rude calling my wife and I liars. We dropped off the truck on the day we were told too. I told him we dropped it off, immediately called me a liar and said he won't be talking to liars. I told him to check the cameras and wouldn't want too. Hung up on me while I was speaking to him. I was overcharged by $50 and charged for equipment used by the prior renter, the truck and equipment wasn't cleaned, I was moved pick-up locations without authorization from Rimrock to Camp Verde, I was charged for gas when I brought is back at the same level, I was only given an 8th of a tank of gas and had to get gas at pick-up, and the blankets I ordered weren't in the truck and the transmission gave me issues. The whole thing was a fiasco.Chris D.

The man who was in charge was extremely unhelpful. It looked like he didnt care at all and scribbled down the number of the dolly so fast to check us out that he didnt even get it down correctly. We got a call the next day from another uhaul facility claiming that we had not returned the dolly. I then followed up with him the next day and he proceeded to givevme every excuse as to why he cant do his job and confirm that we did return the dolly. It was absolutely frustrating and stressful.ERIC S.

There was a previous damage done to the right fender. However I did not see the text message pop up until I got home and when I tried to access it to report the incident the message had been expired. The person at where I picked up the car hauler did not tell me to check the text message.William H.
Communication was poor. My container had a broken hasp or bent one. It took forever to get that fixed and it didn't get fixed until the day I move my stuff out. I was told that someone would meet me to put my box in the yard they didn't it was left in the parking lot for two days. There was usually no one in the office. It was very hard to get a hold of anyone except when they needed money.Rebecca R.

This was the most horrible experience you can imagine. I reserved a truck weeks in advance only to be told two days prior to picking it up that they didn't have one available and I would have to drive over 100 miles to get one. I had to cancel and reschedule help I had reserved for packing the house. We had to wait 4 hours once we got there to pick it up because the previous renters didn't arrive on time. At least the manager in Camp Verde was amazing. He did everything he could to help us out. The folks in Flagstaff were absolutely worthless. No help at all and could have cared less what they caused us. Believe me...we will never use U-Haul again. There are other options available.Larry D.

Worst experience with Uhaul ever. This review is more about UHaul as a company, less about the location I used. I reserved a 5x9 utility trailer online on a Friday for pickup the following Tuesday in Cottonwood, AZ for local use. Was told I would get a call on Saturday to confirm pickup time and location, no one called. Instead I got a text saying I would have to pick up the trailer in Camp Verde, 16 miles out of my way. When I got there at 9am on Tuesday no one was there, I called the local number and some guy was able to check me out over the phone, although he had to ask for all the information that I had already submitted though the online early check in process. I ran my own safety check on the equipment, hooked it up, and drove off. The trailer was fine, it's just a piece of equipment and did what it was supposed to do. Upon returning home and unloading the trailer I tried calling the Camp Verde office, but there was no answer. So I drove 3 miles into Cottonwood to drop off the trailer there, but was told I would be charged $200 to return it there, rather than Camp Verde! WTF? I'll never use UHaul again, and I'll steer everyone I know away from UHaul. It used to be a good company, but it's really gone downhill.Bruce H.

Better trained staff misleading. Consistently told something different Constant screwups and providing false cost and false information about boxes being delivered to our new home when they would not and changed their mind. I am now strongly advising anyone I know not to use Uhaul for any moving Period. The only one that was any help was the Uhaul guy from the temp storage Go with any company but this one. Due to the stupid Corona virus I was instructed to use my cellphone to pick up my rental truck. After talking to 4 people back East trying to make it work, was transferred to Phoenix. After an hour and finally getting a key code..no key in the box! Had to switch to another truck. Frustrating to say the least. At least the drop off was easier.Stephen L.

I felt that i was very accommodating as a customer, the manager asked if i could change my reservation from 9am to 10 am because he doesn't get in until 930. I showed up at 9:50 and it took nearly 30 minutes to finalize my rental because his computer was slow. not once did i complain. I returned the truck at 10:12am today on the 11th and was charged an extra day because he didn't check it in until 10:25. I was also charged a $25 cleaning fee because of an "odor" the unit was very clean but he said that i will be charged for the bad smell. I have rented from dozens of locations and this has by far been the rudest and least knowledgeable.JOSH B.
The one you should be asking what went wrong?! is the people that set the rentals up. I paid for it on Sunday for pick-up on Thursday. they contact me on Wednesday at 1800hrs to say they had no trailer in Flagstaff AZ. where I was to pick-up, but I could pick one up in Chino Valley AZ. that was 200+ miles out of my way. I called at about 2330 hrs Wednesday for delivery the next day, at about 0130hrs all I received was sorry and to call at 0700hrs. I did and still ended up getting it in Camp Verde not really out of my way but I would get to haul it all uphill for 100+ to Flagstaff AZ. more gas and more bullshit. I set it up for 1200hrs pickup at Flagstaff and they put 1500hrs. I told them I was going to get it at noon, more than one time on Sunday. the one in Camp Verde they told me I could get it at 1500hrs. This is all Bullshit and I will think long and hard before using you again?? this is the first time I have had this problem but it will be the last timeBart S.
