The access and the checkout at the counter was easy. The truck was as it was supposed to be and with a full tank. The whole process went smoothly.Chris R.

The self service option has several problems. If users arrive late to pickup the vehicle then the â€œget my truckâ€ button takes them in a circle through the UI without explanation. The video tutorials are out of date. They show a â€œdashboardâ€ button that doesn't exist. Users are not forewarned that they need to verify with passport or alternate number. Alt number is nasty surprise if picking up off hours.Stephen H.

They were not open, so we used the online system and had trouble "sharing location." It was a bit frustrating and took longer than the 15 mins, but in the end, it was okay. What would have been great is if we could have just used the storage facility as our drop off location! We ended up back tracking to return the truck after emptying it at a Uhaul Storage facility.Carol E.

I had originally reserved my truck at the Moving and Storage location (234 N Springboro Pike, Miamisburg, OH 45449) a few weeks prior to my move. When I showed up to pick up my truck, I was told they didnt have one. I was never notified of the change. This other location is 20 minutes out of my way (and was closed). The manager at Moving and Storage was very rude and got short with me when I respectfully asked what the issue was. I was the one being inconvenienced and she coped and attitude with me. Not sure why. Thankfully I was able to get ahold of a CSR on the phone to walk me through how to pick up the truck at the alternative closed location. She was VERY helpful and nice and I appreciated her assistance. She stayed on the phone with me nearly 30 minutes to get my reservation sorted out and walk me through checkout. BUT this inconvenience cost me almost 3 hours delay (i was moving to chicago the same day and now running behind) and an extra trip back to Kettering to pick up my car, plus the extra mileage and gas to drive the truck from Kettering back to Miamisburg causing me a mileage overage. It was just $1 :) so I wont complain but still. Its why I chose the Miamisburg location to begin with. Id like to know where the failure was to notify me either through text, call, email or all three and tell me there was a change in plans. ¡Gracias!Christopher F.

I attempted to use the U-Haul app for an after hours drop off. I found it terribly confusing to use and it kept telling me that I needed to be on WiFi. I gave up and just dropped the key in the night drop off box. I guess I should have had someone walk me through it when I first picked up the van.RICK O.
Staff was great, but I didn't realize the truck had some sort of issue. The check engine light came on while I was driving. The truck was very loud and I didn't realize it was an issue.Sean M.

I returned to the location at 5:55 pm to return the vehicle but the shop was closed Their sign says they close at 6 pm so I got charged $20 after hours fee because they decided to take off early. I tried to call to get this extra charge removed but they don't answer the phone. The uhaul was fine other that. It wasn't cleaned up but it's a work truck so that's not a concern.Zachary S.

No people contact could be a challenge for many including two young men who asked for my help when they were picking up their U-Haul. Relatively easy, but for the first timer, me, the check out/check in process was timely. Probably 30 minutes total of my six hour rental. Also would have liked an invoice via text or email and haven't received one as of yet.Kent P.

We were supposed to pick up at Springboro pike and they sent us to the U-Haul on Woodman Drive. Either you take reservations and honor them or you do not. This was a major inconvenience and unacceptable. At the very least they could have called us prior to the reservation before we drove to Springboro pike only to be told we had to drive to woodman to pick it up. There was quite a bit of snow & ice and the owner was able to clear off the snow but not the ice. When asked if he had an ice scraper, we were told no. Just seems if you are renting a vehicle for liability reasons you'd want to have the windshields cleaned off. Vehicle was not clean, but free of garbage. Definitely appreciated the availability of the van last minute.Toni D.

The location was fine, but the app check-in process was horrible. The photo function kept failing. If my wife weren't there with her own smart phone, it never would have worked. Added at least half an hour to my trip, but didn't give me credit on the back end for the time delay.Stephen K.
