I had my first bad experience with UHaul. I went on line to reserve a 5x8 enclosed trailer and was given a location to pick it up. When I got there the trailer was not there so I called UHaul to find out what to do or where I could get another trailer. After three phone calls to customer service and being disconnected three times I was really very frustrated because I had other things to do besides trying to get through to UHaul. I finally called my local UHaul rental at First Choice Auto in Charlotte Hall Md and Rita was so kind as to locate a trailer for me at Economy Storage in Waldorf Md. The person there was very helpful but when he hooked the lights up the right signal light did not work properly. It was very dim and barely visible in daylight. I had to use it anyway and did not have a problem with turning right. I understand that there is a $50 refund if the equipment was not where it was supposed to be. I would like to have this refunded to me for the inconvenience that this has causedGlenn W.

My initial reservation location was Mr. Muffler on Crain Hwy in Waldorf MD. They did not have my truck ready because they failed to leave a key for 24/7 pickup. However, a Uhaul rep was able to change my location to the Leonardtown Rd location in Waldorf. They had earlier hours and service was exceptional.Samuel C.

Clean vehicle, make sure dashboard alerts are off, have knowledge about how to adjust steering wheel and seat to accommodate the customer. The guy was very friendly but didnt know anything about the truck.Devon H.

It rained and there was leaking inside from the roof of the truck.Doris O.
Better customer service. I asked and reserved an 5x8 open trailer then the rep gave me an enclosed trailer. Then he said he was giving me a trailer that looked like a 4x7, after I questioned the size he said he had another one to give me that had a ramp. He also tried to charge me $25 a day for the rental until I said the price online said $18.95 a day. At that time he said let me check and then said oh you're right. I rented the trailer on tuesday and was told I could return it on Wednesday and when they opened on Wednesday morning the trailer would be checked in and my deposit would be refunded immediately. Needles to say that evening I called to check the status and found out they are closed on Wednesday which I was not told. I had to call back Thursday evening to inquire about my deposit and the guy said oh let me go check it in. I got a receipt by email but still have not received my deposit yet. Very upsetting!!!
