Dolly and moving pads were not in truck at pick up. I called UHAUL immediately and I was told that I could drive to the closest UHAUL location to retrieve that was an hour away. That was not going to work so I was assured that I would not be charged the $27.00 for the I reserved. I WAS CHARGED and I am waiting for a credit.Karen M.

Cell service in the area is very spotty, and if that could be noted, it would be helpful. Thankfully, the manager stopped by when I was struggling with that. When I went to return the truck, I got stuck on the 'take a picture of the gas gauge' page. I tested the camera outside of the Uhaul app, and it worked perfectly, but within the app, I only got a black screen. Again, the manager bailed me out by submitting the needed information the next day. Thanks to her!ALAN W.

Swanson's took care of me and did very good service. However, the trailer was reserved for another U-haul location and when I arrived to pick it up they said they did not have it. They being: 30 West Auto Sales & Service Inc, but I will give them credit for calling Swanson's.Dirk M.

The website would not let me return the truck, so I'm glad that I accidentally set off the business' alarm and the clerk came in. She was extremely helpful and made the check in ever so much easier. She really helped save my UHaul moving experience.Hans B.
Hard to get through due to all the roads blocked by customer and personnel vehicles. There was no drop off box like the app said so I had to wait the entire perimeter only to end up giving my key to an attendant at the gas station.Ronald C.

1.) I rented online. 2.) I called the pick up location the day before to confirm, and was told that I did not have a truck available. 3.) I was given the regional dispatch number to call, was informed that they would find me a truck somewhere, and notify me by no later than 3 pm as to status. 4.) I received a text at 7 pm that a truck was indeed available. 5.) At this time I had made alternative arrangements, using pick up and friends. 6.) I ultimately did use the U Haul truck due to weather concerns, with my items being exposed in the pick up truck. 7.) Given the fact that the rental experience was indeed handled VERY poorly and communications were not made remotely close to when they were supposed to be I want some form of compensation on this rental. 8.) I guess I just figured that they would have more than one sign out advertising. They don't have enough space but they like clutter which is why I wouldn't recognize this location as a Uhaul dealer but would see about some organization. That would really help I'm sure.Erika B.

Trailers and trucks everywhere no real direct place where to park the rental. Gas station is very dirty had to drive into the yard between customers parked cars waiting to be serviced at their garage. Again poor business choices. Weeds were grown around the trailers and trucks. Very disappointed all around with U-HaulEric M.

Clarified time for pick-up twice. When I went to pick up, nobody was in the office. I had to call I hail corporate who helped me find an alternate location. Extra time and effort that I had not planned for not could barely afford. Extremely dissatisfied.rod W.
Swanson's are outstanding to work with. I showed them the appliance dolly I rented was given to me damaged and it in turn damaged my wood stairs. They apologized and immediately made sure the dolly would not be rented to someone else.CHRISTOPHER C.

They charged us for 2 day rental, we only had the truck for under 22 hours! They tried to charge us for an extra 1/8 th of a tank of gas ( at a ridicules rate)! We reserved the truck online and they tried to say we had no reservation. A terrible experience to say the least!Jackie S.

The experience was awesome I was able to get in and out quickly and returning the equipment was fast and easy. I highly recommend this location. Mrs Swanson was friendly and extremely helpful.Robert J.
The 20-foot truck I had reserved was unavailable due to the previous customer keeping it past their scheduled time, so I had to make do with a 15-foot truck. Not the best situation for me, but the location handled things as well as they could.Ryan H.

The trailer on the inside was very dirty. There was glass on the floor. The floor and inside door were filthy. I had to clean the trailer before I could move my items. I felt this was unacceptable.JOE F.

A lot of non-corporate locations are not so efficient and friendly, however, Swansons was a pleasure to work with. Even though mid-winter isn't the best time to rent an open trailer, they were efficient at completing the order, setting up the equipment, receiving the equipment return, and finalizing the paperwork. I would not hesitate to do business with them again, and will recommend them ot anyone with rental needs.Dennis C.

We came from 4 hrs away, and we forgot our hitch! We've rented from uhaul multiple times, and every location has carried them. This one, though, didn't. We realized we didn't have it as we were leaving for the 30 minute drive to pick up the trailer, and I called her right as we were leaving to see if they had the hitch, and told her we would be late getting there since we had to go find one. She called as we left the store after finding one and was rather rude because we were late. She never gave me the little booklet or went over the trailer for damage with me, either. All I got was a receipt and an irritated answer when I asked her where the trailer number was on the receipt. That location was our only option. I guess next time, if that's the only option, we just won't rent one.Leslie M.
