They were MUCH more helpful than the people you pay to manage you phones. Overall the locations were fine, my problem is with the absolutely PITIFUL way in which you run your terrible business. You cost me almost $400 extra on my already stressful moving day. I WILL NEVER RETURN AND WILL TELL EVERY SINGLE PERSON I SPEAK WITH HOW TERRIBLE YOUR ENTIRE BUSINESS IS!!Ben S.

Trailer I reserved for this location was not at this location, but was told it was only available in Wauwatosa. Told they had a smaller trailer, but I would need to cancel the original reservation and make a new reservation using my phone. Then, once I made a new reservation, they needed to review it but only had their cell phone to work with. How can you run a business with a cell phone, where you can only see a bit of a page at a time. It's time to upgrade to a tablet so the customer can actually see what they are signing. The UHaul agent at Sussex location is one of the best I ever dealt with when renting moving equipment. He was extra patient with me as I rented a trailer for the first time ever! He helped me hook up everything and ensured I was really ready to go!Noaman S.

Unfortunately the very nice lady was clueless. She had the wrong trolly, handed the wrong keys to the truck and didn't know how to open the door mechanism even. Also the equipment wasn't ready despite knowing that we were coming to pick it up in the morning and she wasn't able to help with attaching the trailer either. We have rented equipment from other UHaul locations over the years but this one is not worthy of the UHaul name. Sorry!Reinhard B.

The trailer was dirty. They didn't go out and explain the trailer - just pointed and said there it is. The electric harness was too short - I had to find an extension from a nearby trailer When I returned it, they were ready to charge me for 2 days instead of 1. Dealer said â€œthis is what the system is telling meâ€. Once i explained I called for a later pickup and showed him my actual pickup time, he figured out how to change it back to 1 day. So he did make it right - I appreciated thatCynde M.

I was horribly overcharged. And the lady didn't know what she was doing. After more than 10 mins she called her husband. It took almost 30 mins to rent the truck. Now I have to go back there first thing in the morning to try to get my like $65 that I was overcharged backJessica T.

It took them 2 hours for us to check in and get the keys. They had no idea what they were doing and I had to use their cell phone to call their manager to try to figure it out with him over the phone. I then had to give him my credit card info over the phone as well. Gas was barely half full in the vehicle when I picked it up and they didn't have all of the towels that we were supposed to get for moving.Zachary S.
The location was a mess, from unclean shelving units, horrible smelling bath rooms and an employee who was nice but not very fluent in the program of renting your product.. The worst was the fact that the employee (1) had to try to help me while working the gas station attached. He was unable to bring the truck up which I had to go find in the lot and bring up to the door so he could check me out. This was the worst experience I have ever had with UHaul. My initial agreement, with confirmation number, was for a pick up in Hartford WI, it took about 60 minutes for the traffic person to tell the person at the place I was at that he couldn't rent me a truck, but send me to another location about 30 miles away. So the time spent trying to find the new location, gas and miles on my car was not a good experience. With all the time it took 4 hours out of my schedule to get the truck and then still have to go back to the original place to get a dolly. I had to pay 2 people, that took time from their jobs for 4 hours to stand around and do nothing. When you give a confirmation you should be able to honor the contract. In the past when dealing with contractors that did NOT complete the contract they did NOT get paid. How do you expect me to handle this situation?JULIE K.

I booked 2 weeks in advance at a location by my apartment. You change the location and the truck last minute and it's 20 miles out. Get your business in order. If you book something online, it should be available.Jason L.

Very disorganized. Only one person could manage it and he was out of town, so everything was done over the phone. When I returned the vehicle, I had to write on a blank piece of paper, My name, Phone, Time in, Fuel reading, and Mileage. Then the next morning I received an email with my receipt. I was not completely unhappy with it because everything worked out fine, very unorganized.Scott S.

I ordered furniture pads, but was not provided them when I left the store. On the ride home, I remembered I didn't get them, so I had to go back. It was on the contract, but it was not noticed by either of us since everything is paperless...Randy V.

I'm a retired judge. The people at this location are not trustworthy. They falsified the mileage by 1,000 miles and the time for return of the truck. The bill they sent was more than $1,000 over what it should have been.ROBERT K.
