The previous user lied about their mileage and the location didn’t verify, resulting in my being charged nearly double the mileage. After renting truck, and spending 10 min maneuvering around a driver that blocked me in, I drove for about 15 before realizing I hadn’t taken a photo of odometer. According to Uhaul, in that 25 min I drove nearly 100 miles because of the false odometer reading upon check out. That’s over 200 miles per hour. Impossible! Always take photos. Hopefully I get my money back.

ANITA JVery shocked at the price difference between picking up in Alberta and taking to AZ, and returning home. More than doubled. Would not use U-Haul again. Was told it is because or supply and demand in areas. Not my problem, you move them then. Also, not being able to pickup where I reserved it. I reserved well in advance, trailer could have been moved to my requested location. Also, being told we had to drop it at a different location using our fuel. Offered an extra day, we didn’t need it, wanted a day off the fees, that didn’t happen. A way more than double fee is totally not fair. Will be buying my own trailer. Over $600 US for a week rental when I paid less than $300 Cdn for the first one is gouging!

Joseph MEmployee left me to locate, back up, hook up the trailer myself in order to help the next person. Once I did everything myself I had to sit in my car and wait several minutes until the employee came out to inspect my hook up. There were no issues and I was finally on my way. Also, waiting on their cell service and cell phone operating system to get the rental agreement done took a while, was tedious and annoying. Had to do everything myself when dropping off too.

Steve BDropped trailer 10/31/23, trailer ,not checked in until 6 days later causing me to be billed for a LATE check-in. I then had to make an extra trip to the drop location to have the overcharge reversed. Appeared to me that this location manager was too busy to do his job! Very disappointed.
