Because of demand, we had difficulty finding a truck, but this company found us one and we picked it up on a Wednesday afternoon, the idea that we would bring it back Friday afternoon by 4PM. The reservation was written wrong, for 3 days, but the owner said to have the truck back Friday afternoon and we would be charged for two days. We got the truck back at 3:45 pm on Friday, which was early, but the owner wrote the time as 4:30PM. He did not give us a written receipt, we found out later that we were charged for 3 days instead of 2. The truck was clean and we left more fuel than when we picked it up. We called them and they told us they would straighten it out. We never heard back. We will tell everyone we know that this happened. This is our home town and we did a local move. How can a local business treat their own like this??? Thanks.Lial K.

When someone sets a pick up time and place uhaul not change it causing waste of gas do to you guys not even know what you had in stock. My original scheduled pick up location was Sheridan wy not. Which from was I was living was a 90 mile round trip when Sheridan was 30. Nothing to do with this location just business practices by uhaulJordn B.

When I began loading, I realized the appliance dolly I rented was broken. The handle was missing washers that kept it from tightening when the strap was attached. This location did not seem concerned or offer any help. Also, I noted to the representatives that I was charged $20 for furniture blankets even though my on-line receipt said $10. They seemed unconcerned and not helpful at all.Mark J.

Have the units that people reserve available at the location they reserved them. I was originally supposed to pick this unit up at the Uhaul store in Casper, WY. When I arrived they told me the unit wasn't going to be available for a few days as it was out for repair. There were several of the units I had reserved sitting on their lot but I still had to drive an hour and a half in a snow storm to pick the unit up in Sheridan. This was extremely frustrating and cost me 3-4 hours of wasted time as a result it is highly unlikely that I will ever rent from Uhaul in the future.Jonathan S.

We had a reservation for a 26' truck out of Casper Wyoming through the U-Haul website. The truck was paid for at that time. Then I received a call that there was no 26' or 20' trucks available in Casper. We had to drive to Buffalo Wyoming to pick up a 20' truck. This was an extra 4 hour trip, there and back, that we did not have time for. In the future we will not be using U-Haul.Mark S.

I had to travel 160 miles round trip to get a transport for our car and what I thought was the sized truck I requested. When I got to Buffalo, they only had the 26 ft. truck, rather than the 20 ft. that I wanted, meaning higher gas expense. After all was said and done, everything worked out okay and we got to Sierra Vista just fine. All the people that I dealt with tried to be as accommodating as possible! Thank you all! For starters, I reserve a 26' truck for Sherian, WY three and a half weeks prior and it was not available. UHaul would not even drive one to the location I needed. I had to drive 30 miles to Buffalo to get it. I was subsequently charged $13.38 for mileage (was not credited back to me), which is ridiculous!! The gentleman at Superior Automotive and tire was very friendly, but apparently was not familiar with the checkout process. My card was run multiple times and the process took more than an hour. I received no papework or contract for the truck. UHaul credited me $50, which seems like a feeble amount for the headache I endured.Scott C.

A better system for after hours drop off would be good. Dropped the trailer after hours on a Sunday and it was impossible to use the Uhaul system for after hour drop of trailers. I had to make another trip on Monday to be sure it was cleared.Rodney B.
We were told that if we needed to return the truck from our 24 hour rental after store hours that all we needed to do was park the truck outside and put the keys in the drop box. This evening we found out we were charged for 2 days because we didn't do something online. I will be calling and asking for a refund for the extra day. We had it there by 9:30pm that same day. Clean the nasty body odor smelling seats, the truck had a shimmy to it as well. Also when a customer has to drive to an out of town location +60 miles to get the truck, do not ding them for mileage. The last truck rental I had the same issue, I was credited for the added mileage and inconvenience. Making me pay for miles over was just greedy.Travis T.
