The check engine light was on. The truck was EXTREMELY loud. So loud that we couldn't hear each other talk, the radio, or the GPS on our phone. 7 hour ride with the effects of the noise made it hard to hear anything for about 20 hours after our trip. The cab and back of the truck had not been cleaned.RICHARD R.
The super saver is scary! You guys must know it is too. Rent must be next to nothing. The check in and out process is super annoying. Ordered a dolly. Wasn't even in the truck. Got refunded but like, what happened. No apology just oh well be in touch once it's processed.David S.

The experience with uHaul's 800 customer service & mobile pickup was HORRIBLE. I spoke with different people who had different things going on. I wasn't even able to return the truck online. I'm wondering if i'll be faulted for that.chasety B.
My pick-up location got changed on me the day before my reservation, and I did not know the new location would be a Super Saver gas station and not an actual U-Haul store. The attendant at the store was slow to help me, and he had to call U-Haul because he said the network was down and he could not check me in using his cell phone. He was forced to call the customer service line and wait for someone to answer the phone. He had no clue what I reserved as far as equipment and I got the key to the truck without even paying. I had to tell the representative over the phone that I had no paid yet! The attendant did not know what I had ordered as far as blankets. It took 15 minutes when it should have taken less than 5, because I had already checked in the day before. I was not asked how many miles I expected to drive with the truck. I am seriously considering never using U-Haul's services again.Grant R.
The location was a little weird. I felt like I was going to be mugged while trying to get through the automated pick-up/return processes. It's not U-Haul's fault though, just the neighborhood.Chris L.

This was the filthiest store of any kind I have ever been in. The floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned for years. There was trash all over outside, including half eaten food left on the ground by the gas pump. I would not be surprised if the state health department shuts them down. I took numerous photos if you care to see any of them. There was only one person working there and people came in and out to buy small items. He kept stopping to wait on them instead of taking care of me. It took at least 30 minutes to get the truck. The employee kept asking me the same questions I had already answered when I pre-registered. They didn't have a machine to read my credit card. This info had to be manually entered. He told me he had very little experience with the U-Haul part of his job. The truck itself was ok, but I will never go back there. I have been to a number of other U-Haul sites and have always been satisfied. I went this morning to get propane at the U-Haul store on 39th St that's a couple of miles west of this one. There is a world of difference between the two places.Marc H.

The man who helped me check my truck in was amazing! He was so nice and answered all of my questions perfectly. He was the highlight of my UHaul experience.sara E.
1) correct the size of hose that connects the gasoline inflow to the tank. Someone "repaired" this at some point with a hose that is too small. At normal filling speed gas gushes out at filler hole all over side of truck, ground and person. I could only fill the tank at about 2 gals per minute, much too slow. This is a safety issue. 2) The truck wandered a bit more than I like. Check the steering. It might be time for maintenance.bruce B.
This location should not be allowed to rent trucks. All the self serve locations should go away if this is how they are going to be run. I spent more time on the U-haul website and calling than I ever have thought I would. The website didn't work and no one I called would or could help me. And now my invoice is $500 or more higher than it should be. I won't be renting from U-haul again.Lindsay W.

The location frankly is a VERY run down convenience store. I doubt it meets with corporate standards. The truck was very clean on the inside, but the exterior was covered in bird droppings. at this location, the trucks are parked under power lines where birds roost for the night. I did really like the app. I had doubts that it would work, but it worked perfectly, both quick and easy to use.gary J.
They charged me a cleaning fee for renting a truck for 10 hours and leaving it in the exact same condition it was received. So, yeah factor that into your cost.Cullen L.
