Wash the van inside and out

GLENDA MI was charged $15 for a safe move which I did not opt for. I just had the truck to go a total of 9 miles just over one hour, I had checked with my insurance agent and my policy covers UHaul rental, so there is no way I would want it. When I turned in the truck your agent at True Value Hardware said I didn't need to stay she would process the paperwork, I hind sight I should have stayed. Please process a credit for me for $15.

Allissa KI would never use U-Haul again if I had to go into that hardware store to do it. The employees were rude, dismissive, unhelpful, and had no interest in helping me with a truck return. They were excellent at sales prevention skills. I'd suggest taking that location off of the returns option list!!!!!!!!!
JILL RThe store is trying to accuse me of damaging their U-Haul when I checked in with the rep, who verified the vehicle and issued me a final receipt with no mention of damage. The owner refuses to return my calls now. They altered my receipt 2 days later, made up a time and date of an "accident" and made up a story that I backed into something. I've rented from U-Haul 30 times over the last 2 years with no incidents, and have a final receipt from this return confirming no damage. I'm having to now take them to court to fight this. What a total waste of time. Absolutely no help from ownership. This store should be ashamed of themselves! Do yourself a favor and stay far far away!
ASHLEY SI was charged full price for my labor when only one of the two workers showed up from Move Tech. I still have not spoke with them and they have not returned my call. An email asked me if I wanted them to clas the man that did show up to work to give the money back. This is not right. I would not use this company again as they are not helpful and can not be contacted

KENETH GI liked this location much more than the U-Haul only stores. I was in and out of there quickly. Checking it back in was just as easy. The employee knew just what to do. Hooked up the trailer and made sure we were safe. Being a TrueValue store, they can't carry every trailer and truck, but I will use them every time they have what I need.. Great job!

Steve HThe online rental didn't work. They had to redo everything when I got there. Drop off was easier but I still couldn't leave until they inspected the truck.

James CThe whole process was very easy on the Android App. Select a truck and location and time. pick it up. I rented a 2022 Ford E250 extended van. I have to say how nicely it drove! The folks at Tru Value Hardware where very helpful with pick up and drop off. My wife bought a new kitchen table the boxes would have been to big for our vehicle. Thank you Don

DAVID GWhen I picked up vehicle the employee walked from driver window to passenger window and said ok. I started to leave and noticed only a 1/4 tank of gas. I went back to store and told them and they said I had to go fill it up. 69+ dollars and 30 minutes later I was on my way. When I returned the vehicle they told me they could not reimburse me the gas money, that I had to call someone that they deal with from U-Haul and see what I could work out. Needless to say I am pissed! Never have I had this trouble with U-Haul. Catherine Woodahl
Catherine WThe windows were filthy and the young lady really wasn't trained and couldn't answer basic questions on insurance and road assistance. I booked a small trailer way ahead of time and was informed the day before my rental that there was no availability. It ended up costing me more for the rental than was originally quoted. I was promised a $50 credit which I didn't get.

David DVan was uncomfortable to drive, the pedal to steering wheel ratio was uncomfortable. If I adjusted the seat for the steering wheel the pedals were to close and if I set the seat for the pedals, the steering wheel was to far.

JOHN TTrue Value Crew definately hooked ne up with a perfect trailer and price. Like the hydraulic rear ramp and rounded top all the way around. Hooking and unhooking was easy. I'd recommend this location for trailer rental to anyone needing one in the area.

Roger MWish the milage wasn't so high per mile. If u are moving across the whole of Phoenix and back just one or twice it costs over 200 bucks just in milage alone. Had I know this I would have definitely shopped around some more for a better rate.
samuel gOverall good experience. It can sometimes be hard to find an employee at the desk. The U-Haul desk is located in a remote area of the store. Typically there is no one manning the desk. This sends you on a search throughout the store for somebody.

TERRY WGeorge was not the right person to handle this service. He was slow and incompetent, it took over 30 minutes to pick up the vehicle and 40 minutes to return. Based on this experience I will go elsewhere.

tom sThe rental person was not familiar with the simple process for a small trailer rental. The tires were under inflated which created an issue to find air for the tires. One tire required air twice while I had the trailer. The ramp securing pin on the right side was very difficult to remove and re-install. I informed the person when I returned the trailer, I suspect nothing can be done at the hardware store to correct the problems. Very disappointed

DAVID Sthe rear passenger tire was completely bald.down the center. all of the other tires were fine. a relative noticed it. After seeing it, I was concerned about driving on it and risking a flat tire while moving between locations. I extended the rental an additional day but then ended up not using it during the initial day for fear of a flat. When I returned the van, the True Value guy said he thinks someone over inflated the tire and said he is taking the van out of circulation.
